Our stay at cowslip was wonderful.

Our stay at cowslip was wonderful. We could not fault it. It’s a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Some short walks to local pub and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Hot tub was lovely. The cottage was spotlessly clean and there was nothing the owners had not thought of. We didn’t want to leave! Huge thanks to Lindsey for ensuring we had a wonderful stay.

Lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage. Would 100% stay here again.Wanted a little local break away to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. Was perfect - hot tub was great. The cottage had everything you needed. I loved the location, not too out of the way, but enough that it was quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay in cowslip cottage, despite the weather.The hot tub was special. The quality of finish throughout the cottage is exceptional.A testament to the trades that did the refurbishment.Eggcups would have been useful.

Perfect break

Property was fantastic- everything you need is there. Nice touch of providing bath robes and footwearto get to hot tub. nice and quiet location, hot tub just a few steps away from door, great to chill out and just look at the stars

Cowslip cottage is probably the best hot-tub break we have been on, and we've been to lots.

Cowslip cottage is probably the best hot-tub break we have been on, and we've been to lots. Really clean, comfortable, everything you need is here. Even provided towels, robes and flip-flops for the tub. Lots to do and see nearby, didn't have to drive far for anything. Tub is sheltered so will be great to use even in bad weather. Privacy is good too. Wi-Fi is reliable but not fast.

Pure Perfection with peace and quiet guaranteed.

Pure Perfection with peace and quiet guaranteed. A beautiful cottage located in a vast expanse of countryside with farmland all around. The cottage had Everything you needed to self cater, which we did. The very spacious kitchen diner was welcoming and watching birds visit the feeder outside the window was lovely. The lounge was very comfy and the overall warmth was cosy. Bedrooms were very good with plenty of storage space. The two en-suites were also well quipped and the water was plentiful and hot. The location is well placed for the area and we visited Sherwood Forest and Idle Valley for the nature. A simple cheeky weeks stay in winter to make a change from home and to be able to use THE HOT TUB was a delight every day. I cannot think of a thing that needs adding or changing. Thank you for having such a beautiful place and allowing people to stay. We hope to be back in the summer time to see how the flora and fauna change. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Cowslip.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Cowslip. The cottage itself has been very well renovated to a high quality on all the finishes. It lacks nothing in terms of amenities with a lovely welcome hamper full of goodies, including chocolate, prosecco, bread and milk amongst other bits. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a comfortable home away from home. The owners really have done a great job in creating such a beautiful cottage. The communication was excellent with instructions on how to find it and we met the owner on arrival who was very nice and showed us around. The hot tub area is fab and the size of the hot tub very comfortable for four people. And it was a great touch to have robes, towels and plastic glasses for our use. We had a lovely time with our children at Cowslip Cottage. We visited Sundown Adventure Land & Sherwood Forest, both of which were fantastic. The cottage was immaculately presented and well thought out for guests. The additional touches - sweets and colouring books for the children, Prosecco for the grown ups - were much appreciated. The hot tub was enjoyed by all & felt a real luxury. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again with my friends, as was my original plan! We stayed here for three days as a party of two couples.

We stayed here for three days as a party of two couples. We loved the cottage and we were barely out if the hot tub! The cottage itself was immaculate and the owners seemed to have thought of everything. The welcome hamper, robes, sandals and all the little things really made it feel special. We didn't feel that we needed anything but the owners were very approachable from the beginning. The place is adorned with pictures of the work that was involved in renovating the house to completion and the owners have reason to be proud. Chris and Richard really have thought of everything when it comes to this place, from the welcome hamper to the hot tub, it was all perfect and made for a completely stress free weekend getaway.
