Weavers Cottage, Central SouthWold, Pet Friendly & Parking (Sleeps 4, 2 Bedroom)

Thank you so much for your small but perfectly formed review, much appreciated ! 'Excellent' is one of my favourite words! What a wonderful pair of guests you were! So pleased you had everything you needed, and thank you for leaving a message in the Visitors Book. We hope you will join us again!

Thank you so much! You were all fantastic guests (including pooch) and we are so very happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We would love to see you again sometime! So pleased you loved the location-that's why we fell in love with the cottage!

Thank you so much Frances-you and Neil were great guests! This is a very comprehensive review and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at 'Weavers Cottage'. In our view, comfort is everything so it's great you made comments relating to this and that you mentioned the cleanliness too. We do try hard to enable early check-in as we like to provide value for money-especially if it's a short stay. We like to give guests the longest stay possible! We would love to see you return-and thanks again for finding the time to write this review. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much Joanna-we are so pleased you found much to love in Southwold and that you enjoyed your stay with us too! We would love to see you again and thanks for choosing us!

This is a wonderful review-thank you David and Julia! It was our pleasure having you to stay-you were lovely guests. So pleased you loved Southwold and enjoyed Weavers Cottage too. Southwold is a great place to stay all year round-whatever the weather-and you have highlighted this-thank you! We certainly would love to see you again..

Well-what a brilliant review-this is wonderful-thank you so much Natalie. We work hard to keep everything as clean as we possibly can and we love to make our guests comfortable so we really appreciate your comments. It's lovely to be appreciated! We can't thank you enough-and thankyou for being great guests too-we certainly hope to see you again!

Hiya Jennifer-apologies-I've only just seen this wonderful review-thank you so much! You were lovely guests and we are so pleased you found so much to like! So glad you loved the location too! Hope to see you again sometime-Best Wishes-Kerry and Steve

Thank you Maggie-it's so good to hear you liked the style and cleanliness of the cottage and that you found everything comfortable and well-equipped. Just to respond ref. the size of the rooms-and for reasons of clarification for potential guests-we do have many returning groups (of 4)-and ample comfortable seating in the living room (see pics)-and 2 very reasonably sized bedrooms. We thought (on purchase) the rooms compared very well with other small cottages we saw-some were very narrow (so difficult to comfortably furnish)-with only a shower room- and small bedrooms. The kitchen may be on the small side but it is fully equipped and the stairs (just10 and enclosed) are not overly steep- especially compared with some of the scary ones we saw! However-we welcome feedback and obviously guests should always consider their own comfort and physical capabilities-a downstairs bathroom isn't suitable for everybody for example! Thanks again Maggie for taking the time to say some lovely things-we are so pleased you enjoyed yoursleves!

Thanks so much Brenda-you were lovely guests and it was our pleasure having you to stay! We are so pleased you thoroughly enjoyed your time in our cottage and Southwold.

Thank you Jane-this is a lovely review. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we certainly hope to see you again-and hopefully when things are back to some sort of normality! Thanks for your useful and kind comments. All best wishes-Kerry and Steve

Thank you so much Patricia! You are a star! Glad you like the DVD collection, they are constantly updated so all the top new releases are there for our guests to enjoy! We think it's a good idea for cosy nights in, especially out of seaason! We think the location is fab, we're so glad you like it and find everything convenient for your stay! You are great guests and we're just glad you keep coming back. We're changing the lounge furniture soon, so there'll be something different for you to see next time! You are 5 star guests!

Well, I am speechless (which doesn't happen often)! This is really, really nice, thank you Annie! You have said some lovely things, and they are so appreciated. We do try really hard to pay attention to detail, and we do want our guests to get the max out of their holiday, as relaxation time is so important. It's great that you noticed our efforts! I LOVE the title and I LOVE the 5 stars! Thank you again, and we hope you come back so we can give you another warm welcome!

Thank you so much Patricia. This is a lovely review, and it was great to see you back for a second visit. Your friends in Loom (also staying with us) said that they really enjoyed the Birthday Party on The Pier on Saturday night, it sounded great fun! Just so pleased you like Weavers Cottage and that you had a memorable 60th! Here's to the next party! We love the 5 stars, thank you so much... Kerry and Steve.

Well, thank you so much, what a lovely review! It was an absolute pleasure to have you all to stay. As for Smudge, top marks, you wouldn't even know he'd visited! There are some lovely people in this world, and Gloria I'm sure you're one of them! You, Sheila and Smudge are all welcome back! I am very pleased you found all the information useful, I find it's always helpful to have a few personal recommendations. Southwold really has some great eateries, we are lucky! The award of 5 stars has made me and Mr.P very happy people.

Well, this is definitely one of my all time favourite reviews! Thank you for taking the time and trouble to relay your comments to us and thank you for leaving everything so clean and tidy, and for the 5 stars! Hoorah! The heading is absolutely perfect, and we love it! What can I say, except SUPERB is just the best heading we could wish for! You have both given us something to smile about! Come back and see us sometime!

Thank you Jane for taking the time to write this review. Not quite top marks ( I love my 5 stars I'm afraid! ) but lots of positive comments, which is great! It may be that the internet was playing up that week as we have never had any negative feedback before.

It's so good to hear that you and your mum had a great time in Weavers Cottage! I'm also glad it was fun for the doggies! I love all the preparations, choosing all the hamper goodies etc so it's great to see it was appreciated. We would love to see you again, and thanks so much for taking the trouble to write this review. Have a fantastic 2015!

Dennis, thank you so much for this comprehensive review. I am so glad you and the family enjoyed your 'random' holiday! I enjoyed hearing about your culinary delights (you needed a walk to work off such treats no doubt), and it's great to hear that you may return! It would be lovely to welcome you and Sheena back sometime! Thank you so much for your custom, and 'hoorah' for the 5 stars!!! We love Southwold and I want all my guests to feel the same way.....

Thank you! This is a lovely review, and I am so lucky to have such fantastic guests! I really appreciate your comments, and the best thing is that you had a great holiday in 'Weavers Cottage' as that's what it's all about! Yes, I know we 'bang on' about it but I would challenge anybody to find a better location in Southwold, it has such a 'holiday feel' about it, and I'm so pleased doggie had fun as well (I love Jack Russells). We've been so lucky with the weather, and that makes two great Summers in a row! I'm also glad that the golf course got a mention, (especially as it's so near the cottage), I'm not a golfer myself (luckily for the passing public!) but I hear it's a nice course. Hoorah!!!!! I love the 5 stars, and thank you my lovely guests for making my day! You will always be welcome!!!!!!!!!

Hi Margaret & Barry, Well, I'm so glad you all enjoyed your stay! I must say I got the distinct impression that you guys know how to have fun! It's also really nice to know that you had a good time with the guests next door, and I'm most impressed you all went biking, how energetic of you! It would be really lovely to have you back in either cottage, and thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you again for the precious five stars! (Five thank you's to match!!!!!) Hoorah!

Perfect! This is a lovely review, and I'm glad you found Weavers Cottage good value for money! I really like the header 'little gem' as I think it does sum up the property, and it's certainly very well placed (as mentioned) for all amenities in Southwold. I am really happy you all enjoyed yourselves and it would be a pleasure to see you again sometime! I must say that I am so lucky to have so many really lovely visitors to both cottages, I do appreciate it! I'll be paying a visit soon and I'm looking forward to a slap up meal in 'The Crown' and also some Marks' Fish & Chips..what fun!

Hooray!!! This is great!!! I am so pleased you all had fun!!! I'm so happy the children loved it, and hopefully we'll see you again.. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this review for Weavers Cottage. The 5 stars are very welcome, and the comments about my efficiency (returning emails etc) are very welcome, and form an important part of the whole visitor experience. It's often the case that we don't use the car at all when visiting either cottage! Can't wait to see you both (and doggie) again!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! Yes! 5 Stars! Thank you so much! It's absolutely great you obviously had a great time.. I'm so glad the neighbours were so helpful ( they usually are!). However, there is a comprehensive guide in each property listing local eateries/ opinions on the food/ value etc. This couldn't be a nicer review, thanks again for the comments and observations! I know your family made best use of the outside space/sitting area in the evenings, because I heard you struck up a friendship with the holidaymakers next door! Maybe we'll see all of you again next year..hope so! Glad the sun was shining too!

Thanks so much for these comments, I love the header. In response to the price of cakes, well, the bakery mentioned is an artisan Bakery, and certainly some of the cakes are delicious, so yes, they are a little expensive, and a tad small portion wise. However, there is a more standard type bakers opposite where the prices are lower. However, sometimes you do get what you pay for, for example; The Black Olive Deli sells quite pricey pies, but I have to say that since actually forcing myself to fork out and buy one (chicken and shiitake mushroom) I have to say it was so tasty, it was worth every penny! I'm just really pleased that Weavers Cottage delivered on all counts and could not be faulted, and I'm so glad the location proved so convenient (we think the position couldn't be bettered because it's so central and yet so secluded) and it would be lovely to see you again! Thank you for coming to Weavers Cottage, and I'm so glad your mum enjoyed it! Writing this has made me hungry...I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Marks' for some yummy cod and chips...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
