The Parlour , Emsworth - a barn conversion that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

Set in West Sussex countryside, The Parlour is a retreat for six just outside the picturesque village of Westbourne. With country pubs, beautiful walks and links to Chichester and Goodwood this beautiful cottage is the perfect spot to explore everything our region has to offer.

Westbourne includes a quaint bakery, the highly recommended Woodmancote Pub is only a short drive away as is Fox and Hound pub and Halliday's restaurant in Funtington is well worth a visit, make sure to book in advance.

The Parlous has a large kitchen with everything you will need to self-cater during your stay. There is a Nespresso coffee machine with pods and a lovely breakfast welcome pack will be provided on arrival. The kitchen has a hob, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A further utility room includes a washing machine and space to dry washing. An iron and ironing board will be provided. The kitchen includes a dining area for six and there is seating for six outside on the patio for dinner in the garden on a summers day.

The large ground floor living room has all new furnishings and new widescreen television to cosy down with a movie after a day of exploring. A log burner is in pride of place in the living space along with a nice big basket of logs which will be provided for your booking.

On the first floor there is double bedroom and twin bedroom and the groundfloor there is a second twin bedroom. Top quality bedding and towels will be provided throughout. On the landing you will find a cute snug area to read a book and get away for some peace and quiet - this is accessed by a high step up from the stairs so may not be accesible to all. There is family bathroom with separate shower cubicle and bathtub. A further WC can be located on the ground floor. The master bedroom has it's own en suite along with dressing and seating area.

A lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at The Parlour. The accommodation has been beautifully designed, really comfortable and well equipped. The owner lives nearby and was welcoming, and provided a fantastic welcome gift on arrival. We highly recommend this holiday accommodation.

Great accomodation

excellent quality accommodation, very clean and well presented on quiet farm in a great location. Welcome pack also very nice. Would recommend for any family.

Long-stay for business

This is the third year we have booked this accommodation. Our team enjoy staying at The Parlour Emsworth due to its cleanliness and self catering ability unlike staying at a Hotel. It is ideally placed for their local commute and we would happily recommend staying here.

Phenomenal stay with an amazing host

We stayed in the Parlour as a family of 6. The occasion was very special to us and it was matched by the property and Alison ( the owner). I cannot recommend this property and Alison enough. From the welcome crate of goodies to the check in to see if we were ok, to the helping us light the fire or local recommendations, Alison was one of a kind. We will definitely be staying here or in the Dairy again.

Spacious property

We were under the impression that this property was in Emsworth itself and should have checked before we booked. Nevertheless it's very nicely presented and the welcome package was lovely. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for us all.

Lovely, clean and would recommend this place.

This is a lovely well equipped cottage with added extras. It really is a home from home. Very clean, gated parking and very comfortable. I strongly recommend this if you want to be in this area. I do not have anything negative to say. Just perfect

The handbrook farm

Booking through homeaway way easy and straight forward. Communication with the property manager was prompt. The house we stayed in was cozy and very clean. Lovely to find bread, milk, juice and eggs waiting for us. The only down side was the internet was very slow.

Excellent holiday accommodation

This was a well equipped and very comfortable cottage.it is excellently located to visit the attractions of Portsmouth, Chichester and the coast. The welcome pack was excellent. Local pub restaurants were good. The management firm were helpful and efficient.
