This newly renovated four bedroom, three bathroom home is very close to Main street in Barnstable village and Milway Beach and Harbor. The village offers terrific restaurants and many shops to browse. The beach is great for children and the harbor has the Whale Watch boat. It is a 10 min drive to Hyannis.

The property is set in a quiet residential neighborhood at the end of a deep wooded lot, ideal for a relaxing and convenient family vacation. With the newly added four season sun room, there are many places to be together or spread out and rest. There is over one acre of land. Your privacy will feel wonderful. The eat-in kitchen opens with French doors into a large patio. You may enjoy an outdoor shower or nap in the hammock
Other amenities include: Fireplace, BBQ grill, outdoor table, chairs, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fully supplied kitchen, cable TV/VCR/DVD, DSL, Central Air Conditioning.

A wonderful visit

This is the second time we stayed at this property - we had such a great experience the first time that we returned. Again, the home was clean, well furnished and the communication superb. We had a fantastic time enjoying the Cape!

Enjoyed our stay in this cozy, beautiful home

Beautiful, spacioush home with lots of privacy. Great communication with property owner. Public beach is 12min away and everything is close by.

Spacious house in a prime location

This house fit all of our friends very comfortably. Very cozy and provides everything you need for your stay. It is located in a prime location within Cape Cod. Near to the beaches, Hyannis, and plenty of food options. We will definitely be coming back to this location. And we HIGHLY suggest checking our Nirvana Coffee in Barnstable!

Spacious comfortable house

Big kitchen, dining area, living room and also large sun room with tv and foosball. Kitchen has plenty of dishes , silverware etc. Gas grill with outdoor dining table. Very comfortable for a family. Only downside is proximity to airport. There aren’t a lot of of flights but you do hear them.

Absolutely lovely home and area

My family and I spent august at this wonderful home. The owner and her daughter, who is local, were super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. The home is clean and very well equipped, with plenty of room for a family of 4 and grandparents to visit! The location is perfect for exploring the Cape- just a short drive from Falmouth, Sandwich, Brewster, etc. 10 min from Hyannis and 5 min from Barnstable Marina where we rented a fishing boat and took a whale watching tour. It’s also minutes away from Hathaway pond, a beautiful pond with warm water where my kids could swim, paddle board, and just play in the water…with almost no one else around. In short, we had an amazing vacation stay at this home. Highly recommended.

Fantastic accommodations

The photos don't do this house justice! We rented the house for a quick family trip and were not disappointed. Communication with the property was incredibly friendly and very informative. When we arrived at the house we were impressed with the secluded location. The house was wonderful and the internet worked well, even from the outside patio! The sun room was a hit with everyone, as was the spacious kitchen. If you like wildlife this is the house for you, as each day a rafter of wild turkey's ventured into the yard, much to the delight of the children. Location was perfect, 10 minutes to restaurants/groceries/mall, 15 to a ferry, and 10 minutes to the nearest beach. Highly recommend!

Great stay for first family vacation

Upon arrival, outside seemed to need some landscaping care. However, inside of home was very clean and awesome! Large kitchen with table and island. Large living room with another large table. We loved the sun room and spent many nights in there. More than enough supplies were provided. Completely stocked and very clean. Really nice patio to sit out every day and enjoy. Supplies in shed for beach and assorted toys and books for kids. It was our first family vacation with 2 year old and he seemed to love it as much as we did. Would definitely recommend this home and would definitely stay here again if we return to the Cape. Josiane and her daughter were quick to respond to any questions and very easy to work with.

Very spacious comfortable home

The house had ample space for relaxing, sleeping, cooking and dining for our party of 7 adults and one child. The sun room is huge with comfortable seating, a foosball table, tv, books and toys, which provided happy playtime for our two-year-old grandson! There's also a living room with another tv and plenty of comfortable seating. The house is very clean and well kept with a well equipped kitchen. The only drawback for us was that the advertisement indicated that there was a crib. There are actually two Pack & Plays. Had we known we would have brought a thicker mattress for our grandson to sleep on. He's a little too big to sleep comfortably in a Pack & Play but hasn't yet graduated to a twin bed. Other than that the house was great and we had a fun week. We would rent this property again.

Pleasant Escape

Overall a very comfortable home and a great escape from the city during CoVID. The outdoor space is well-configured and private, and the interior has all the comforts of home. Kitchen is superbly equipped, though a serious cook will wanna bring their own knives. Owners daughter gave great tips about the area, very helpful. Unfortunately, WiFi does not cover the sunroom well. On the couch it’s weak to non-existent. The thing is, I specifically asked about this after reading the review from August 2017 and was given only vague reassurances that it was fine. It. Is. Not. Fine. I was working remotely for one of the weeks I was there, and was more limited than I would have liked in where I could function effectively. Outdoors actually better than inside, but that’s only helpful on nice days. The weak coverage in the sunroom also affected streaming — the last day, in particular, we spent ‘buffering’ all day on Hulu. We brought our own Chromecast because the provided TV only had YouTube or Netflix. There is no apparent way to reboot the modem or router. WARNING: Back porch steps very slippery when wet. I went down hard one morning. Need some traction tape. Visible green algae on the surface. Back porch door does not lock. No safe place to use the fire pit, but one is stored in the shed. Hammock listed in the property profile was not to be found. Trash collection (by owner’s family) is haphazard — they came on short notice on the middle Sunday morning. Be aware that Barnstable Municipal Airport inbound and outbound flights go directly overhead some of the time. Most are small but some are commercial jets. Also, route 6 is less than half a mile to the south, meaning the property has some level of 24/7 traffic sound in the distance. True for sure in all bedrooms if windows are open (we don’t use AC so always had windows open). Great bathrooms, outdoor shower. Bathroom on first floor perfect for guests in COVID conditions. Just inside the door from outside, so guests have to transit the ‘family space’ minimally. All in all, though, a delightful escape!

I was happy tp hear that Mr Storer found the house very comfortable and a "delightful escape" during his 2 week stay. I like to reply to some of his concerns: WiFi: has never been raised as a problem before. Since the home is not rented this week, I will look into upgrading the WiFi and make sure the sunroom is included. Trash collection is always on Saturdays. Since it happened to be July 4th and the guest was there for 2 weeks, it was thought to be better to collect the trash the next day, Sunday morning. Mr Storer was notified before the trash was collected. There are locks on the kitchen door to the patio and the sliding door in the sun room. The fire pit does not belong there. It is too dangerous with the many trees surrounding the house. It must have been left behind by previous guests. It will be removed. During all the years that we have rented the house, the only comments we have received is the it is so quiet and private....We pride ourselves on offering a beautiful, relaxing get away to wonderful Cape . We have done this for 19 years. It is the first time we have any of these complaints...

We were 8 adults and a baby and found this home very comfortable, clean and well provisioned. Close to everything yet very private. The sun room was a huge hit for hanging out. Would definitely stay again. A very nice bottle of wine on arrival was a pleasant surprise!

Great vacation home!

We had a great stay in this home! The owner and her daughter were very responsive. The house was very clean. The outdoor area was perfect for kids because it was spacious and the house sat at the end of a long driveway, therefore we didn’t have to worry about cars. If you like walking the neighborhood was very pleasant to walk in. There is also a trail very close to the house that we went on. Stores and supermarkets are very close so getting supplies was no issue at all! The kids loved the fooseball table and they were very excited to see the family of turkeys walk through the property each day. This is a great house for the amount of people we had (8 people including 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from age 6-9). Thanks for a great stay!

We wish we had more time

It was a last minute booking for our unexpected vocation and the house was exactly what we'd hoped fore - relaxed, comfortable and clean. Everything was exactly as advertised. All of us, including my 22month old daughter enjoyed the sunroom. There were puzzles, games, and as a bonus to us a lot of books and toys for her age. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals and serve it to I would say more then 10 people for sure (although I never counted all the plates, mugs and flatware). Communicating with Josiane was very easy. The property is located 10 minutes drive from all the shops and supermarkets you can imagine: Whole Foods, Target, Stop & Shop, Trader Joe's, Dick's, K Mart, you name it. The most important for us was that this property is located within a few minutes drive from a lake where we were swimming most of the days. Thank you Josiane, we really enjoyed our stay. We wish we could spend another week there.

Family get away

We found the house warm, comfortable, and inviting. The property is very private and quiet as it is tucked away from the road. It is centrally located and 5-10 minutes you can get to practically anything you need. We highly recommend this house to anyone.

Everything you could possibly need

Everything you could possibly need is here in this beautiful and comfortable well stocked home. We were a group of 10 ranging in ages from younger children 3yo to teens. 5 kids 5 adults had plenty of room. The bedrooms are sized just right. The sunroom is delightful and the kitchen dining space is layed-out nicely. The kitchen had an abundant supply of everything we needed to create meals for the family most nights. The Patio and shed provided many amusements for the kids as well as bbq and fire pit. Wonderful access to so many fun things nearby, nature paths, beaches, biking shopping. Excellent hosts and an absolutely beautiful place. *The only thing to note is spotty wifi, nothing a hotspot can't fix though.

Very comfortable for large family

This house has lots of large spaces so no matter how many people share the house (we had 3 generations totaling 11 showing up at different times), small groups can be comfortable in the sun room, or the TV area, or the kitchen with a long table, or outside on the patio with a large table. As well, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils serving all of our varied diet needs. The supermarket, the beach, the small cafes are all within easy driving distance, yet the house is secluded and private. The Foos ball table in the sun room was a big bonus, as were the children's books, puzzles and games. It was very easy to walk in and feel very comfortable! Just as a vacation and home away should feel.

Really great "home away"

Just spent time in this beautiful home in Cape Cod with my family. We were 8 adults and 2 children and there was more than enough space for all of us. Everything about it exceeded expectations. It was clean, well -stocked and comfortable. Particularly great if you have children in your group. There were toys and games for them to enjoy and everything was safe for them. The home was centrally located and only a short drive to anything we wanted to do yet the house itself was in a quiet, secluded area. We spent most of our time in Hyannis, a short distance away, because we had other family members staying there. We couldn't have picked a better home for our vacation and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the cape.

Great Multi Generational Vacation Home

Our family just spent one week at this home. It was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Beaches were accessed by auto and the best we found was Craigville. Home was spacious enough for family meals and personal quiet time. Sunroom was designated as our quiet area, so this worked well for us. We would return again, as the pictures do not do this home justice. The Hourihans and the Branns
