Surrounded by National Forest on three sides, Bella Vista is one of only four private cabins on 80 acres. Spend your mornings watching the sunrise over the lake, your afternoons exploring the property, and your evenings relaxing by the outdoor fireplace under a sky full of stars.
Many guests tell us the views are even better in person than the photos.
Guests frequently spot deer, wild turkey, hawks, and other wildlife right from the deck.

Wonderful 30th anniversary trip off the grid and away from the noisy world. Two mile hike down to the lake was refreshing (moderately difficult). No hair dryer. Highly recommend!

We appreciate your note about the hair dryer. Because our mountain cabins operate on off-grid solar systems, we are careful about providing high-energy appliances that can place a significant demand on the system. For that reason, we do not provide hair dryers. Guests are welcome to bring their own if desired.

Absolutely stunning view. Perfect for stargazing, we saw so many. The cabin was very well equipped, clean, and had a very cozy atmosphere. 10/10. I definitely want to come back.

Spring break father-sons trip with my 3 boys. Not our first cabin rental, but this certainly stands out with the best views we've ever had in the area, by far.Cabin was very clean, cozy, with all the little amenities you need. Heaters worked amazing for the rare night down near 25⁰. Communication with Debbie was remarkable - responses in minutes to any question we had. Hike was fantastic. Everything listed in the description is 100% accurate, so do read them. My one nitpick, some hooks to hang jackets or towels in the bedroom and a towel rod in the bathroom would've come in handy.. but certainly nothing preventing us from another visit.Amazing little place with big views.

Great suggestion on the hooks and towel rod—that’s an easy improvement and we’ll definitely look into adding those for future guests.

We had an awesome vacation! Relaxing, amazing views of the mountains and lake! Beautiful sunrise coming over the mountains every morning. Hated to leave but will definitely be back!! Also need to mention the road was fixed while we were there.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and exactly as pictured. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. We loved how quiet and private it felt, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Check-in was seamless, communication with the host was excellent, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The drive up added a fun sense of adventure, and once we arrived, it felt like our own little mountain escape. The cabin was ideal for both couples and families, offering plenty of space and all the essentials. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway with unforgettable views!

Perfect Nature Retreat
This is an excellent location for couples wanting seclusion and the silence of nature. The inside of the cabin is amazing, but we spent most of our time on the bed swing enjoying eagles flying and the epic view of mountains and lake.
