These lovingly restored multilevel house is located in the historic center of the picturesque medieval village of Conversano, Puglia, just a 10-minute drive from the beaches of Polignano a Mare.
The stone house is set on three levels: the living and kitchen room on the first floor, the bathroom on the second floor and 1 bedrooms on the third upper floor. It comfortably sleeps 2 people, and is elegantly furnished with clean, modern furniture. There is one bathroom and one balconiy located on the upper bedroom. Amenities include: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, WI-Fi, TV and ironing board/iron.
Conversano, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, is lively, sophisticated and full of festivals/events throughout summer — yet never overrun with tourists. Enjoy the daily “passeggiata” (evening stroll) in the cobblestone-paved old town streets full of shops and restaurants (gelato in hand), explore the castle and surroundings, cook with fine, fresh produce from the street markets, and take in free concerts and street performances. The town centre is pedestrian-only, which makes for wonderful walking and quiet, peaceful sleeping. This is also the perfect gateway for famous tourist destinations nearby like Ostuni, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Locorotondo (Valle d’Itria). All are a few miles away. The train station is just a few blocks away from the house.
The house is located in the historic center of Conversano. Since this area is a pedestrian friendly zone the parking is restricted. You can temporary park your car near the house at your arrival to unload your baggage and then park for free just outside the historic center few blocks away from the house.We will provide a map with parking areas.
