Wonderful vacation

We spent two wonderful weeks at this place and we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the place, the amenities and the comfort of the place. The location is magnificent and very safe. The balcony offers a direct view of the bay and the swimming pool. We hope to be able to return there one day.

Spring Break 2020

Great location! Close to everything! Nice pool and private beach area. Our only complaint was the outdoor patio furniture needs to be updated! This condo is perfect for sunsets! We would stay again!

This was a beautiful place to stay. We had to contact the property manager to get into our place, as the access code we were originally given did not work. Also, we had some issues with getting a parking pass.

Property should have instructions for how to work TV. Deck could use better chairs. Kitchen in need of a little upgrade. Overall though great spot!

Poor Management

Place was never cleaned when we arrived, couldn’t get a parking for guests, also door code was changed after we had to wait to have the place cleaned so more phone calls. They said would pick up dinner for us I send the receipt we never received anything.

St. Pete vacation

I loved the resort, room 8-314. It had plenty of room and was clean. The kitchen was well supplied. The location was great. My only complaint was the patio furniture was terrible, it was so uncomfortable, it was made out of PVC type pumbling. This was our first trip to Florida a d I wish I could have sit out on the balcony and enjoyed the views. I did see dolphins from the balcony. Yes, I would recommend and yes, I would use it again... I would take me some fold out camping chairs, or some other mobile chairs so, I could take full advantage of the views from the amazing balcony

Beaten up!

St Pete Beach was great and the pools and condo complex were awesome. The condo we stayed in needs a lot of TLC to bring it up to an acceptable standard. Lots of little things broken, damaged and not working. Just seemed like it had been neglected for a number of years. We would definitely stay in that complex again but not at that condo.

Never again

Unit we requested was unavailable due to plumbing issues. Offered refund but had already gotten airline tickets. No other water view was available. Ended up with unit facing golf course. WE DON’T GOLF.! Very disappointed!!!

We had a wonderful time in Isla del Sol as always. Unit was OK - nothing more, nothing less, some parts of interior worn out (doors). Pool and beach excellent though the spa was closed for the good part of our stay. Communication with agency was poor as they flatlined on our inquiry about the gym. On line listing must be updated as to the toll on the Pinellas Bayway as it does not take quarters anymore but a Sunpass is needed. Caused us some trouble and money but we will remember next time. Listing must also be updated as to the gym as that is not a shared property as listed and there is no access to a gym of any sort. Overall we had a nice time. Thanx.

Vacation week before my daughter’s wedding

The complex is amazing as I was an owner in Bahia Vista. I was disappointed in the quality of and limited number of bath towels. Being there is a pool right there luckily I traveled with pool towels as there were none. Our expensive crab cake's we purchased were ruined with the disgusting frying pans with no teflon left in them. We had to throw out our crab cakes and the next day purchase a new fry pan for the rest of our vacation. There was 1 dish towel so luckily I was able to wash it. My feet were literally black walking on the floors in the condo. No one washed those floors. The toaster was cheap along with the cheap coffee maker. The handle on the toaster was missing. I was disappointed and I truly hope the owner is made aware of what is going on in their condo. I would never rent it again or recommend with the price I paid for 11 nights. I have pictures that I can send if anyone is interested.

Good with some negatives

The place was nice, great location, the complex was nice. We got an email the day before we arrived stating that there was extensive construction going on in the complex, 1 feel we should have been told more than the day before we werea arriving and given an option to find another place. There was very loud grinding, sawing, etc. They were re-doing outside plastering and putting in new windows, Monday through Friday. It was going on outside in the condo immediately aside of us. When we were at the condo or the pool, you could not talk to each other, the noise was so bad. The noise ruined things during the day, no relaxing, quiet time anywhere near our condo. I feel we should be re-imbursed a significant amount of money. I understand work needs to get done, but we were there on vacation to relax, and it was anything but restful! Also, the info given us stated they would give starters of essentials, so there was one roll of toilet paper, one trash bag, etc. So, we had to even go purchase trash bags, it seemed a bit ridiculous for what we paid for the week. We still liked the place, would consider renting longer period next year, but would hope for some payment for no lead time to change our condo and the very loud noise!

Beautiful location!

We loved the location and the view from this property. The pool area was clean and not congested, the view was breath taking, and the location was perfect for access to beaches, bars, and restaurants.

Great week at Isla

Property is perfect and the location is amazing. I rate it as a 5. The only pressing item is that patio furniture. That is the worst furniture I have ever sat on. I am sure for older renters it’s not even feasible to sit on. I would burn that furniture... :)

Want to return!!!

Love this property. Probably my favorite of all we stayed in. Clean, comfortable, great views. Seriously couldn't ask for anything else (except maybe a pizza cutter). The property was clean and quiet. Pool was great. Lounge chairs on the beach was a nice surprise. Start up supplies were left for us. So why a 4 star rating? Friday morning we woke up to no water. I called the rental agent and they said someone would call us back ... I am still waiting for the call. I ended up talking to the repair guys and there was a link and water shut off was planned for a week. We never received notification. The rental agent could sent me emails and notifications about everything dealing with my reservation but no notification about the water being turned off. I am sure this is a once in a lifetime situation but I think it should be addressed. With that said, can't wait to rebook!!!

Room and location were beautiful. Had other issues.

This was the first time visiting Florida. The room was very nice and the scenery was wonderful as we had many Dolphin sightings in the bay. However I would not exactly call this a kid friendly place. I had my 3 year old grandson there with us and because it was not easy to pack up the car daily to go to the beach, we spent a lot of time at the pool. He was very upset when a very rude security guard came and told him he had to get out of the hot tub (he calls the hot springs). There were no other adults down at the pool at that time so he was not harming anyone with being in there with me and his mother. The security guard stated “your boy can’t be in the hot tub”! I try to talk with him about it and he kept interrupting me and wouldn’t let me talk. I told him we would be back to that place and he stated good! There was a resident that lived there that would literally sit in his patio and watch us to see if we were allowing him to get into the hot tub. On another day, we went out to our car to go to dinner and I had a warning ticket on my car for backing into my spot. Had no idea that was a rule. Granted it was a warning but annoying at the same time. I also didn’t like the 10pm “quiet time” the whole week I felt like we were being monitored and scolded. The bad far outweighed the good. After the second day, if I thought I could, I would have went elsewhere to stay where I felt more welcome. The stress I felt from worrying about getting into trouble for things was not worth the trip.

Could use some updating, carpet was dirty, vacuum didn’t have any sucking power, needed a new bag but there wasn’t any. Should have cleaning supplies on hand especially with four ladies staying there we like to spray down the sink and tubs. Overall we would go back again THANKS

Beautiful setting, well kept grounds and security. Would rent again.

Beautiful view of the waterway with plenty of activity. Unit comfortable but dated. Pool area is great. People are very friendly and inclusive. Tub in master bath has high sides and is hard to get into and out of. Some chairs have lost their padding and are uncomfortable especially on the balcony. Brought to attention of the rental company and was told that they would replace cushions on balcony, but was last we heard from them.
