Kapa'a is a great location in Kauai. Pono Kai Resorts has elevators which is convenient for suitcases when u r on 2nd floor. Laundry is easily accessible and only 3 for a load. Beautiful ocean view. Great walking path.

The property was wonderful! It was very clean with an excellent oceanfront experience . The host was quickly responsive for any questions I had. I was extremely impressed by how well stocked the condo was with beach equipment, laundry detergent, and other cleaning supplies. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. It was a perfect place for a beach vacation. I would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great experience for us fam of 4. Home has its all stuff we need. We feel home and experience relaxing time together. Providing shampoo and conditioner could have been nice but overall it was a wonderful stay.

Check in was easy with the provided door code. The condo looked exactly as depicted on the photos. It was clean with an amazing view and an extremely comfortable bed. A complimentary bottle of wine, local coffee and a few sweet treats were a nice touch.

The unit was very clean. The fully equipped kitchen was great. We loved watching the sunrise over the ocean every morning!

Clean condo with comfortable furniture. The AC and fans helped to regulate the temperature perfectly. The owner provided everything we needed for the beach - that was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing experience staying at Pono Kai! The condo was spacious, well equipped and clean. Our unit had a beautiful view of the ocean, which we took full advantage of. The onsite gym wasn't great, but I made the most of it. Parking was adequate, plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance and lots of beautiful beaches just a short drive from the property. We had a great time and would come back and stay here again in the future!

Spacious and well equipped!

Wonderful set up for us to vacation with adult children! View of the ocean, lots of space and light, well furnished.A great place to stay.

Beautiful ocean view & location close to shopping & restaurants. Walking distance was nice. Place was clean, organized, & stocked well for what we needed. Plenty of towels etc and loved the natural hygiene products that were here for use. Furniture could be more comfy for those spending more time at the place but would still recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love our stay here! The property is clean, and the kitchen is well stocked up. Wonderful beach view. This unit is on 2nd floor/top floor at the corner of the building. It has many beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas and more beach stuffs when we were there. We walked to plenty of cute stores, restaurants and biked on the bike path. Property management (kauai vac rental) is also very friendly and responsive. There’s always someone picking up the phone or texting us back when we had questions. We had left something and remembered it a day after we got home and called them. They were able to ship it back to us!

Wonderful Getaway

Great location. Can go north and south very easily. Oceanfront view was great. The unit we stayed in could use some updating, but overall was fine.

The unit was amazing, it was our third time staying in this exact unit. The grey couch in the living room is so comfortable. The rooms were clean and well stocked for what we needed for our stay. It has a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom. One thing to note is we did see some pincher bugs in the master bedroom and master bathroom. Then on our last day we saw a huge type of roach on our nightstand right by the bed. We were able to capture and get it out of the unit to the trash can. Overall it was a lovely stay but it may need to checked for pests. Again it was our 3rd year here and we love the unit so much. Thank you for the stay!
