Very good overall. Only challenge was staying cool without AC. Front door does not want to stay open even with door stop on bottom. Unable to open upper windows to add more air flow. Otherwise, beautiful view and great location.

Pictures are nice, but property is nothing alike. Since there are no reserved parking slots it's a challenge to find a spot nearby to entrance, so be prepared for a walk with your suitcases and then good luck carrying them to 3rd floor, which is a challenge. Condo itself is old and everything is falling apart, from doors to windows, which you can't close, non-working power outlets, mold in the kitchen and bathrooms and noisy neighbours. When we arrived well past the checkin time - the cleaner wasn't done yet (apparently he wasn't aware the guests are coming), then he left the loft windows open, which you cannot close yourself and we had to deal with the rain and sleepless night due to waves crashing outside. I guess the only positive thing is location which is right in front of the ocean and in Kapaa village, close to shopping mall, but otherwise don't really recommend it unless you are more for a camping experience.

Waking up every morning to the ocean waves, this is the paradise life. Thank you so much. The unit was clean. So happy there were ceiling fans and a standing one available .Restaurants around were so convenient with the grocery store so close, a bonus. Thanks again!

We loved the location and the view. This place has been remodeled, nice flooring, clean kitchen, and all the supplies you need while you are staying there. Only I had few issues. The furniture donā€™t look clean. And also the towels in the bathroom has spots on it. Like discoloration.

They are always so helpful and kind. The unit is very clean and comfortable with timely replenishment of linens and towels. The location is perfect for exploring all parts of Kauai and convenient to local stores and restaurants. We have been coming here for nearly 20 years and will be back again! Itā€™s our favorite place!

Cute Condo!

We loved our stay at this cute little condo! The place was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was great! We were able to walk across the street for groceries, Saturbucks and Subway. We also enjoyed our walk to Downtown Kappaā€™a!

We have been staying at, Kapaa Shore for over 15 years and most of that time has been in KS305. The location is perfect for exploring the island and the views are stunning. You get a 180Ā° view of the ocean and east shore. The unit is comfortable, clean and they have kept it maintained and updated through the years. The team at Garden Island Properties is the best, very accommodating and helpful. We are already set to go for next year!

Beautiful Location

Our stay at the 3rd floor condo was great. The property was within walking distance of everything we needed and the panoramic ocean front views were stunning. The condo was very clean but could use a little TLC with a pocket door that stuck, a bathroom tub that didnā€™t have a plug to take a bath and there wasnā€™t an Elevator which was a challenge with luggage and an aging parent where stairs are tough. Still we had a marvelous trip.

Nice Appartement, well equipped and proper. Nice Ocean view. Possibility to wash clothes. There is no beach at the resort where you can swim. We can recommend the appartement.

Lovely getaway, central location

The property is as described and we had a nice week there. There were lots of thoughtful extras on hand in the condo - paper towels, coffee filters, dish and laundry tablets, and even an air dryer for hanging clothes! These things were really a nice touch - I brought half that stuff in my suitcase because we are accustomed to staying places where those things arenā€™t provided. The location really is ideal for sightseeing all over the island and we loved having the Safeway across the street and also the Wailua Shave Ice which was the best shave ice we had our entire trip! Thereā€™s also an adorable downtown area with nice shops and restaurants less than a 5 minutes drive from the property. I had several questions over the course of our week and the owners always responded very quickly.

Stay at Kapaa in Kauai

As advertised. Great location and oceanfront property. Can watch and listen to waves anywhere in this unit and especially great sitting on the balcony. The place works great for a family of 5. Serves as a great base camp to travel to different sites in Kauai. Highly recommended!!

The unit has been updated over the years with new appliances, furniture and flooring. The best things about this condo are the location and the views. The north, south and west sides can be explored easily from this east side location. You can see all kinds of wildlife from the lanai so be sure to bring binoculars!The unit is very clean and kept up and the staff at Garden Island Properties is always helpful and quick to respond to requests. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to our time there next year.

On the beach

The condo was ok. Downstairs was better than the bedroom and bath upstairs that need remodeling. Kitchen was well-stocked. The view from the condo was great. We like staying in Kapaa because of the proximity to Hanalei and Poipu. This condo was not air conditioned and we did not need A/C at night but did during the day. Wonā€™t stay there again because of that.

Location was great: walking distance to Kapaā€™a on a nice foot-bike path, only a few miles up to Hanalei or down to southern points. It was a little difficult to find at first. Nothing indicated that it was part of a larger property, Kapaā€™a Shores, which has condos managed by at least 3 different companies, apparently. There was a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath on the first floor, and a loft with bed and bathroom. Nice and airy and light, all.
