Great 2/2 condo at River Run Condominiums is great for relaxing after a fun day in on the river. Top floor - no overhead footsteps! New premium bedding for a good night's sleep. The leather sleeper sofa has extra foam topper and/or air mattress, new leather recliner. Fully equipped kitchen with extra seating at island and Keurig Coffee Maker and Regular Drip Coffee Maker. Flat screen TV with built-in DVD. Bring your favorites or enjoy ours. Cushioned balcony furniture invites you to sit awhile and view the beautiful Comal River! Shaded all morning and most of afternoon. Ceiling fans in living area and both bedrooms! The balcony has a view of the river, and guests have direct access to the river from the property. A beautiful swimming pool, hot tub, barbecue grills, and picnic tables are all located by the river. Master bedroom has a King size bed and a futon, guest bedroom has a Queen size bed, and there is a sofa sleeper in the living room. Two full baths. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms. Newly redone floating wood tile floor throughout the condo.

River Run Condos are located on the Comal River directly across from the Landa Park Golf Course. There are three tube rental and shuttle facilities adjacent to the property. Also available for guests are two parking spaces, elevator access to the unit, and free wi-fi. Coin operated washing machines and dryers are located on the garage level under this unit. Free wi-fi. Elevator access. No smoking - not even on the balcony. No Pets. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.


Nearby Attractions: The Prince Solms Tube Chute is a ten minute float down from River Run. There are three tube rental and shuttle facilities adjacent to the property. Other attractions are just a short drive away. Landa Park has a public golf course, a miniature golf course, paddle boats, a miniature train, large spring-fed swimming pool, and plenty of picnic areas.This condo is on the third floor and does have an elevator. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. You will receive 2 parking passes and 8 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.

**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!

Communication with host was great. They made sure i had all i needed to check in before the arrival time. I will rent again. The condo was cozy and had all we needed. Everything was clean. It did have a lives in feel and look but it was still great. I think the best thing was its location. Although we didnt go in the river this time it would be perfect to do so. We did get to get up in the morning abs sit next to the river and watch otters play. There were also so many deer grazing around and on the property. It was very relaxing.

We enjoyed the location and that it was right on the water. We stayed there during a somber time since it was right after the July 4th flood so couldn't go on the river - which was to be expected. Instead, we got to know other guests at the pool and grilled each night or grabbed something local downtown. I love that it's walkable if we choose to walk and had the weather been nicer we would have. The condo was well stocked and even had games/puzzles which we enjoyed. The door was already unlocked upon arrival and other than finding a previous guests dirty under clothes and hair in the sheets I'd say it was clean. We did let the host know and they apologized since sometimes things get overlooked. Previous reviews mentioned issues with security or staff onsite and we didn't have any issues at all! All in all, we'd stay in the area again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few issues. The fridge went out-but property mgmt replaced it very quickly. Elevator went out-my husband got stuck between floors. My niece fell twice in the tub-very slippery. Our car would not fit in the covered parking area. The walk to the river and pool was a rather steep incline.Just not a great experience overall.

Had a great time itā€™s located in a perfect part, easy river access, walking distance to downtown just one issue which bothered us is the fridge sucks we waited 24hrs like it stated and got stuck drinking warm drinks even on the coldest setting it wouldnā€™t keep the drinks cool heck the freezer couldnā€™t even freeze the ice for 2 nights so we got stuck drinking warm drinks on the river, I didnā€™t bring it up as we only had one night left before we left and the pool closes at 11 or 12 which is a bummer, Overall great experience if u want a prime location I would stay again, area was clean no complaints there and the bed was amazing would recommend if u wanna have a weekend get away

Everything was great except for property manager. The location was great, the access to river was nice. The only thing was the manager yelling and badgering guests for parking permits. We were being told we were being loud, we had small childten with us. ? What do expect? Sorry will not be staying here again.

New Braunfels Stay

The property is very old. Our unit was clean and comfortable. There is good parking. The VRBO picture is misleading. We could barely see the river through the trees. And other than that, you are looking at the parking lotā€”not scenic at all. There is nothing within walking distanceā€”restaurant, bars, places to visit. We travel a great deal and suggest that for over $600 for two nights, we would stay someplace better located and newer.

A+ Location + Very Quiet

We booked this location right after Labor Day, during the week. It was quiet, and we had the river mostly to ourselves. We chose this spot because of its proximity to Texas Tubes, our favorite place to drop in. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would stay here again.

It was a great location. However, after a long day of travel we arrived to get our check-in information and the rental company sent the wrong door code. We had to wait 45 minutes to get the correct code to even get to the property location. That was definitely frustrating.

Friends weekend

Great location close to tube rentals. It was crowded for 6 adults. Luckily we brought a foam mattress topper for the sofa bed. It would have been very uncomfortable without it.

This condo is on a beautiful part of the Comal River, upstream from the most hectic parts. The condo had everything needed. The pull out couch was not comfy, but with 2 beds and a futon, we didn't need the couch.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was old musty smelling & maybe like dog smell. It was smaller than appeared and it sleeps 4 comfortably in my opinion. They left us without any coffee. The complex allows pets, just not this unit! The shower head high enough if you are 5.3 or shorter. The rental company was nice and helpful. I donā€™t like to complain if that tells you anything.

Location, location, location

The location of this condo is the best. Itā€™s pretty close to the beginning of the river so you have the whole river to enjoy. Access to the river is right there and the pool was great also. Itā€™s a 5 minute drive to Schlitterbahn which my grandsons loved. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 kids, ages 8 and 9, and the condo was fine for us. The bedrooms are pretty large especially the master bedroom, the common areas were a little small BUT we had absolutely no problem with all of us in there at meal times. I will definitely be renting this unit again. Iā€™ve read reviews about people smoking pot and yes this does happen but you have to remember the river is a party place. During the week we had no issues at all with people smoking pot, Friday and Saturday were a different story but this happened on the river and has absolutely nothing to do with this condo unit. There were police walking down the river all day on these days so nothing got out of hand. If you are looking for the best place to enjoy the river then look no further, this is the place for you.

Relaxing Spring Break Trip

The property itself was clean, matched the pictures on VRBO, but donā€™t let the pictures fool you. The place is tiny!! I had about 5 different spots I was picking from to stay in and this definitely should have been my last choice. Beds were hard as a rock. Balcony is tiny & the view isnā€™t that great from the 3rd floor. A summer choice is what it is, not a choice for a relaxing family trip. It would be great for an adult summer trip to float the river. It is located directly beside Texas Tubes. It is more like a low income apartment complex & is on the third floor. If you are looking to relax and let the kids play in the yard; this is not the place you want. If youā€™re going to float the river and have adult drinks & need a quick place to stay immediately beside tube drop offā€¦ this is it!! Definitely would have cancelled and booked elsewhere if we could have. Had I known the apartment was so tiny you could barely turn around in it, and it didnā€™t have an actual yard, the pool area wasnā€™t in a calm spot like we had envisioned from the pictures online. Definitely sad about our chaotic not at all relaxing trip. If youā€™re wanting summer fun, river floating, quick trip to Gruene for adults; this would be ok. If youā€™re bringing your family, want to relax, and let the kids play this is not it.
