WELCOME TO YOUR PARADISE! SOULFUL LOFT 10 MIN DRIVE TO THE BEACH & 5 TO CENTER

Fully equipped, one bedroom with Terrace View to the Garden and futon, one bathroom, front and back terraces, beautiful wood dining table and fully equipped kitchen. Open loft style. It was built with local materials and surrounded by trees and vegetation, has great high ceilings and windows that allow the entrance of natural light, is been design to optimize natural resources such as natural cooling system, rainwater collection and ecological sewer system. In this area the water is a delicate topic for contamination so having rain water to shower and general use in the house is a plus. The house is built in the center part of the land so you are far from the street noise, we have a beautiful garden in the front and a back yard and good internet connection. We do not recommend for kids under 10 years old for the design of the stairs and railings. The area has great atmosphere with hotels like Tiki Tiki and Casa Tulum and a wonderful community center located in the residential area of Holistika that offers daily program including yoga, sound healing, dance classes and many other activities plus amazing jungle paths, juice bar and restaurant. Is located in a very comercial área where you will have multiple options for dinning, shopping and have all you need in walking Distance.

Beautiful eco friendly loft

Very poor host

We arrived at the site to find a cat and dog sitting at the front door to the house. The cat bolted into the house when we were trying to get in and the dog was barking. The host’s add said nothing about a cat and dog! I am allergic to cats so there was no way we could stay there. There was pet dander and hair on the furniture and it smelled like mold and animals. We had to scrounge around on our vacation to find a last minute place to stay, which ended up costing us more money. I contacted the host and politely let her know that we were not able to stay and left the place as it was. She was rude and stated it was our fault for letting the cat in and that she was not obligated to let us know there would be animals there. Uhhhh... kind of an important detail! To this point she has still refused to provide a refund even with mediation through VRBO. In addition, there was a lot of noisey construction and it smelled bad. She also texted pictures of stuff she didn’t want us to touch because they were her personal items she left there. Not what you want to deal with on vacation and when you paid for a place! There are plenty of other affordable, beautiful places to stay in Tulum, with lovely hosts, so it’s not worth getting involved with this one!

Very strange you are the only guest in all the history of my property (This is not the only site where is publish ) with this experience, specially when your complain did not go through. You sent a message saying you were gone cause you saw the pets in the garden , sorry but same I told you , the property is big enough for them to be without affecting your time but you were rude and left without even a chance to talk about it. Is not true the house smells, I had a cleaning person coming same day just few hours before your arrival , no need to lie . As I told you I wasn’t ask for site to provide info about pets in the area, You wanted to cancell same day and get a full refund , no correct, I had the place blocked for you for two months , you never even ask or mention about your extreme problem with pets.... If is so important I reccommend you do so , as many people has pets and you are renting a house or an apartment not the whole property. I understand your frustration but don’t accept you are giving dishonest information

I was born in Mexico city but grew up in a smaller town couple of hours away. Lived in Acapulco and Canada before moving here in 2008 and been very happy living in this paradise since then. I dedicate my life to tradicional medicine learned here trough the hands and voices of amazing teachers carrying ancient and tradicional methods to heal body, mind and soul. 4 years ago I developed my own line of natural products that you will be welcome to try on your visit.

I Feel in love of the essence of Tulum, nature and spirituality and I do my best to keep promoting its beauty and wildness. I decided that I was going to live here a year after I came and the adventure of building this house started. Bought the land and years later (end of 2015) I was able to start the construction that I recently finished.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This house is been build taking advantage of natural elements. Windows and doors are running from east to west to live the ocean breeze run through the place part of the natural cooling system is also the rain water collected and storage under the dinning area. The whole house uses rain water that is the cleanest you will find since Tulum unfortunately is going through bad issues related to water for the fast development, another important and beneficial aspect of the house is the ecological sewer system, all water is connected to a 15 x 2 mts healthy and beautiful wet land that filtrates and cleans the water before sending it to the gian aquifer running underground Tulum area. The place is open and with beautiful entrances of natural light with the many windows and glass doors, there are terraces in the front, back and bedroom area where you can also find a couple of hammocks. I decided to live a nice space for garden in the front and back of the property with this you are surrounded by vegetation.
