The three-loft complex is located in LA VELETA the most up and coming zone in Tulum. Enjoy a Chill-Hip atmosphere just a few minutes away (15min walk or 5min bike ride) from Tulum downtown & 7 Kms from the beach. You will be around the corner from lively Calle 7´s restaurants, cafes and boutiques. Covnenint access by Taxi or car (on-site free parking aviailable).

Each designer loft offers a green view through floor to ceiling windows. Blackout curtains darken the place when needed. The minimalistic-style accommodation is bright and comes equipped with kitchenware, A/C, ceiling fans, 1 queen size bed and 1 single couch (sleeps 3 adults), private bathroom with shower and complete kitchen with dining area.

Could be better

The property was very grown in, we arrived at night and there was no outdoor light and had to use our phone to even find the entrance. The a/c was very finicky and there was no hot water. The fellow running the place came and showed us how to run the A/c and brought us a coffee pot. There is a awesome Bakery across the street.

Very nice quiet spot

Great apartment and super helpful manager

The apartment is super private, quiet, clean and comfortable. Marcos, the supervisor is so nice, responsive and helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful place in Tulum

We loved our stay at Chuhuk. It was clean, nicely decorated, and provided everything that we needed. There was room to park our car, and a large gate, so we felt secure. It was about a 15/20 minute car ride to the beach, and minutes from the town of Tulum where a TON of great restaurants and bars are. I would highly recommend staying here. Great for couples.

Great place, excellent location, awesome people!!

This place can't be better!! I want to start saying thanks to Eduardo and Marcos, awesome people, great and fast response. Marcos was waiting for us, then we text to him 2 days later to get bicycles and it took him 5 minutes to come over. The studio/loft has everything you need, it is very clean, spacious, beautiful big windows to enjoy natural light or see the stars at night, modern style, parking, etc, etc. Location is great, we were 2-10 minutes from Tulum's principal street.( depends on walk, bicycle or car), where you can find nice restaurants, groceries stores, pharmacies, banks, beaches, anything. We found the place just like it is on the ads. We highly recommend Eduardo's loft if you are visiting Tulum. Once again thanks so much, we have great stay at your place!!! Pablo Virginia USA

Clean, comfortable, and functional at a good price

Communication was excellent with the owner and his local representatives (I used WhatsApp locally). We were greeted at the apartment on time by Marcos. He showed us in and around, and explained how to use the small safe and air con. The studio has everything you need to cook, a large refrigerator, range top, pots, pans, dishes, even a French press. The bed was comfortable. I didn't try the bunk bed. The location is such that I would highly recommended you have your own transportation (at least a bicycle). Stores and restaurants would be inconveniently far away should you chose to walk. WiFi worked flawlessly. I would definitely return to this location if I visit Tulum again. My $90 security deposit was refunded to my credit card in less than 2 weeks after checkout.

Quiet refuge near downtown Tulum

Our 5 nights stay passed like a dream.This studio is clean, modern and well decorated, with a mexican touch. We were with our son and never felt squeezed. It's 2-3 min drive to the main street and 5 min from the action. No noise, only the sounds of the birds. The bed is comfy, rain shower works perfectly, good size fridge. Some friendly suggestions to the owner in order to make next travellers enjoy more: a coffee machine instead of the bodum, glass plates instead of metal ones, same for the mugs, a third chair for the dinning table, a hammock or 2-3 chairs outside to be able to use and enjoy the small cute court. Marcos the guy with whom we were in contact is efficient, polite and helpful. We would recommand this place for travellers who want to make the most of their day in Tulum's attractions and return to this quiet place to relax and sleep.

Excellent loft, well located and with all I needed

What a great choice! In this loft I felt like being home. Skillfully designed it has everything you need from a queen bed, a lounge, aircon to a fully equipped kitchen with stoves, crockey, fridge,..The bathroom, in a minimalist and practical designer style, has an ample ceiling shower head that will make you come back to life after a whole day sightseeing. There is a lot of attention to detail. Little containers of soap, shampoo, clean towels, water in the fridge..I quite enjoyed staying in this loft. It´s located in Tulum´s town in a quite area. I rented a car and could park it right in front of the property. The place was an excellent base to visit all what Tulum has to offer, either walking around town, go to restaurants, dive shops or driving to Chichen Itza, Coba, cenotes,.. There´s a large supermarket called Chedraui where you can buy the essentials (water, milk, cereals,..) and keep it in the loft. It´s a very safe place and the loft has also a safe box. It was an amazing experience, I felt like being in my own apartment. I definitely recommend this accommodation. Great value and customer service.

Fantastic in every way

The place was very clean! there were plenty of dishes and we were able to cook at least one meal a day in the loft, even though by the end of the trip we regretted not trying out more restaurants because there are so many good ones. Everything that was stated in the description was pretty exact. the place feels very safe and secure having a wall/gate that surrounds the 3 lofts. It feels very private and comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with soap and shampoo which is made locally! The are 2 parking spots in the front of the property which was nice as we rented a car. The bed was comfortable and having lights and fan control buttons available right above your head was so well thought out!. The place is pretty quiet and i would still DEFINITELY stay here again. The directions are very specific and lead us right to where we needed to be. Just keep the photo of the front of the place with you and you will have no problems!. Aguachiles restaurant, is a good land mark for where you need to turn off of the main strip and they have great ceviche too :) William the manager was very friendly and helpful. If your phone doesn't work in Mexico, connecting to the wifi right outside the front door is not problem and helped us when we needed to contact the manager (using whatsapp) about a key mishap. Eduardo happened to be in town during our stay and was very helpful. On the last night he invited us over with a few others and had some nice conversation, we were able to meet the designers of the loft which was really great! we'll be back!

Great Place to Stay..!!

Eduardo's loft was even more lovely than pictured and exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Tulum: in town, beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and very safe. Yes, there is a distant soundtrack of wild birds and a morning rooster, but that is part of the charm and vibe of staying in the local neighborhood! Great value, lovely loft to come home to after a long day of adventuring.

Awesome experience

We stayed here after a friend recommended it and I am so glad we did. The loft is beautifully designed – minimal, bright, and clean. I wasn't expecting a kitchen, but that was a wonderful surprise! I wish we'd had more time to cook, but then again… we come to Mexico 90% for the food. The shower was great, the fridge was cold, the bed was comfortable. I loved that it was off the main strip, but not too far away. To me, the neighborhood felt safe. If you follow the directions that the property manager (William) gives, it is not a problem getting there at all. I definitely recommend renting bikes if you plan to explore the city area of Tulum. And as far as getting to the beach, I suggest renting a car or taking a taxi. If you rent from EasyWay they will drop the car off at the loft for you. AMAZING.

Wonderful Stay at La Veleta

I was blown away by the space. Super zen in the outside area, the turkeys gobbling and roosters crowing were great to wake up to. Amazing hot water/pressure. Plenty of towels and all the things necessary to cook. The blender was a great touch! The apartment itself is beautiful, bright, and cool which is great to come home to after a hot day exploring Mexico. The neighborhood was far enough from the main strip to feel like you were really immersed in a rural local Mexican town, but able to escape within the high walls of the court yard area which made me feel super secure. I highly recommend Eduardo's beautiful place. Will certainly return if/when in Tulum again.
