Amazing! The nicest VRBO. So clean, homey and accommodating! It had everything you needed in such a perfect location. Close to town for convenience but a beautiful view and nature all around! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! The house is very clean and the most well stocked rental we've stayed at! Everything you could accidentally forget is there! The game room & playset was so fun for the kids & the patio was so nice to relax on after a day of exploring! It's so centrally located to everything you could want to do! The road is private and peaceful, we even enjoyed walks and watching the wildlife. The hosts make you feel at home and so welcome during your stay! If your looking for a rental in the custer area look no further !

Excellent property. Close to activities in the area. Privacy but no need to drive far for things to do. Home is very well furnished and clean We will definitely stay again.

This is a “real home” … the furnishings and kitchen and features are wonderful. As everyone else has said, it is thoughtfully and incredibly well stocked! It is a very convenient location with easy access to everything we wanted to do. We went to Mount Rushmore on our way in from Rapid City. The house is only 6 minutes from the city of Custer and 11 minutes from Sylvan Lake (do the whole loop). The north end of Needles Highway is just 14 minutes away … this is where Needles Tunnel and Eye are located. The trailhead for Cathedral Spires is shortly past that (a great hike). The main Visitor Center is an easy 25 minutes drive that goes past Stockade Lake (and other sites) and where we started the Wildlife Loop (saw bison, pronghorns, and prairie dogs in multiple locations). Park Ranger recommended driving up to the Mount Coolidge Fire Tower - great views, bring binoculars to see Crazy Horse and Washington’s profile. We are SO glad we chose to stay at the Burgers, and that we got to meet them in person. Highly recommend staying here!

The best VRBO we’ve stayed in. Excellent beds, very comfortable furnishings, extremely well stocked. You can’t go wrong. Minutes from Custer State Park, grocery store and restaurants but in a rural, peaceful setting. Loved seeing all the deer and turkeys every afternoon.

This was an amazing home in such a convenient location to explore the area. It is in a quiet area just far enough from town to drink coffee on the deck while watching deer and turkey but close enough to run into town if need be.Stan and Shirley thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. We have stayed in many vacation homes and this one was by far stocked better than any before. The house was spotless and the beds were very comfortable.The check in and out process was simple and went very smoothly and communication couldn’t have been better. There is a game room downstairs and they have many games to play both inside and outside. This was a perfect place to get away and enjoy God’s creation!!

This home was excellent in every way. Location is close to town and the parks. Fully furnished over and above. View was relaxing and the host is very accommodating. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

Excellent rental house in Custer State Park! This house is so well stocked with everything you need and more. Our kids enjoyed the outside playset and air hockey table in the basement. We even used the cards and games they have at the house. This house is very close to all that Custer State Park has to offer including Sylvan lake where we ended up going multiple times during our stay. The hosts are very quick to reply and very accommodating! We loved staying here!

We had an amazing stay! Our family of four loved sitting on the deck, watching the wild life, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and playing in the game room in the basement. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and so comfortable. We would highly recommend and would come back in a blink of an eye.

We had a great stay at this home! The location was ideal—close to everything we wanted to explore in the Black Hills and easy to get to. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, utensils, and even our favorite Keurig coffee pods. Our kids loved spending time in the basement, which was perfect for games and movie nights. We also enjoyed watching deer and turkeys wander through the yard each morning. It truly felt like a comfortable home away from home, and we’d gladly stay here again!

Great place to stay in the Black Hills!

This house was so lovely! From relaxing on the back porch to playing games in the basement, we had a total blast! The house has all the amenities, is in a great location near Custer, and you can see local wildlife from the home! This home was above and beyond our expectations! We will definitely stay here again while visiting the area.

Our stay was amazing. So organized, instructions were great. House was clean and the kids had so much fun with the games inside the house and outside. Beautiful location.

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay. The house was beautiful and super clean. Close enough to the main attractions. Homeowners were very responsive to any questions we had.
