Welcome to Stage Road Estate’s private studio apartment. We are located in a beautiful estate setting surrounded by farm fields with expansive views of the mountains. This cozy and chic apartment features Jen Air professional series kitchen appliances (range, microwave, and refrigerator), and ample cupboard and kitchen island work space with concrete countertops. The private second story deck overlooks expansive views of the Flathead Valley and surrounding mountains. There’s a king sized master bed. The laundry room has a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience. This property is a part of Stage Road Estate property #717603, and is built to the same high standards. Stage Road Estate is exactly as described. Property was gorgeous and studio apt was clean. Easy drive into Columbia Falls. Only complaint was the owner mowed the lawn one morning while we were there--disrupted the morning peace a little bit. Otherwise would stay here again! FYI there is an adjacent home that houses guests as well. This was not an issue for us.

Wonderful property for two!

Communication was phenomenal. The apartment was very well furnished with high quantity appliances. Quiet, beautiful setting away from crowds and lots of wildlife! We enjoyed it very much!

Amazing stay

This place was perfect. Clean and comfortable, quiet and secluded, with amazing views. Wildlife outside every window combined with an amazing coffee station made mornings here unbeatable. I will be returning.

Nice location, very clean

Very nice, the pretty view from windows. Just a few minutes to downtown Columbia Falls and 20 min to Glacier National Park.

Montana get away

The apartment is as described and is very clean. The ranch is a few miles outside of Columbia Falls. Joshua, the owner, was easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations for restaurants in Columbia Falls, although one could do some serious cooking. The kitchen area has just about everything one needs to prepare a meal. The issues others mentioned with the air-conditioning seem to be worked out. There is a new a/c unit in the kitchen area that helped keep it cool. If you have trouble with stairs this is not the place for you. There is a long set of stairs to access the apartment. We visited the area to see Glacier and the Flathead Valley. It is not a long drive to the west entrance but seeing all of Glacier (huge park) does involve some driving (doable but just be prepared). Having a washer and dryer was great as we were covered in sunscreen and bug spray everyday:) All in all a great place to stay.

Montana was spectacular

Staying in Columbia Falls gave us very easy access to Glacier, the airport and to other small towns to explore like Whitefish. This property is cozy and although there is only 700 sq ft the vaulted ceilings make it feel like a much bigger space. The bed is great, there are JennAir appliances and many items are provided for convenience such as coffee and filters, dish soap and bear spray (obviously left behind by a previous renter). If you can use a Breville Barista Express Expresso machine you will be tickled! It is the attached garage apartment to the main house yet you still feel separated. The whole property is beautiful and well maintained. We watched deer, pheasant, wild turkey and may varieties of birds from the deck and kitchen window. The sunsets at this property are amazing. The heat wave going through in July created air-conditioning issues but Joshua promptly addressed the situation. The cool nights were wonderful for leaving windows open. Only slight negative issues were slow remote control for the television, small shower and the stairs are steep and could make it difficult for some to carry up luggage. Overall an excellent experience! Thanks Joshua for everything.

Overall excellent. Loved the place. Compact and nice. Great views of deer and turkeys. Only downsides are no drapes on door or window. Sunshines wakes you up early. TV hard to use and understand. Programs lag and audio out of sync

Relaxing respite from road trip

We were very happy with most things about this property. Restaurants were good and easy to get to. We saw lots of deer and a few pheasants from the deck. My only complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't working and we were there during a pretty warm week. Luckily, it cooled down at night and we were able to chill the place down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Amazing view and deer to greet you morning and night

What an amazing place to stay! This place was located in the perfect area! We were in close proximity to so many things to do and yet had the privacy of country living. We had deer right in the yard morning and night. The only thing I would change is the size of the shower. That would never keep me from staying here again. We loved our stay and wish we would have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved everything about this property! Josh, the owner, was super helpful and provided information about the area as well as restaurant recommendations. We saw turkeys and deer each day! Highly recommend!!

Big Sky Retreat

This studio was perfect for us. Location ideal for our GNP adventures. Although it’s a studio the kitten rivals any place we’ve been. Super clean, comfortable, spectacular surroundings. Joshuas recommendations for restaurants etc were perfect. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

This is a beautiful apartment/condo (?) and we enjoyed our stay. After several nights in a hotel while traveling, it was nice to be in a homelike and quiet setting. We enjoyed an evening walk and the wildlife. Be aware this property is upstairs and so you will need to bring any luggage up yourself. Also, it would be nice to have kitchen detergent to wash dishes rather than hand soap. Most travelers don’t have that, and really don’t want to get a bottle at the grocery store. Other than that, great property!!

A great place to stay near Glacier

Our stay at the property was great and we found it tough to leave. The setting is just beautiful and the apartment is perfect for a couple and very comfortable. We were there in July. Joshua, who was very helpful and responsive throughout, did a great job with making the place comfortable and functional. We had everything we needed and more. Would recommend this to anyone visting the area and if we are back that way, we will be staying again!

Beautiful property

Josh was great to work with at this property. Beautiful views and close to everything. It made for a great basecamp for our adventures in the area. Would love to stay again when we’re in the area.
