Great house in a beautiful location

We have just returned from our third stay at the Lookout. The house is perfect for our large group. All the rooms are so spacious and comfy. It was lovely lighting the fire and sitting around having a catch up after a day walking in the Lakes. The location is great for a short walk into Keswick or starting a good days hike. We have already booked again for next year!

Beautiful house and Garden

Lovely house with plenty of space for the family to have some personal space when needed and still come together at meal times to socialise together. The garden is outstanding with views across to the fells and some great photo opportunities. Myself and my family had an amazing week and made some memories we won't forget.

Well equipped with quality furnishings, beautiful views and located on the outskirts of Keswick, this house is ideal for families or friends.

Great house in a great location

The location of the house was fantastic, easily walkable to town and the lake. The furniture in the house was all good quality, no cheap flimsy beds or sofas. The only issue for us was we travelled with dogs and the garden is not secure, the house is on a busy road and there is no gate to stop the dogs running out into the road so we could not properly relax with the dogs out the house or sit there with the doors open.

A lovely cosy stay in Keswick

This was our third stay at the Lookout and we have just booked for next year. The house is lovely, clean and cosy. It is the perfect space for the 10 of us and an easy walking distance into Keswick. We can't fault it and look forward to returning.

The Lookout is a very comfortable house with splendid views of the mountains. Plenty to do in the area and a comfortable place to return to after a day out. It's well equipped for self catering, but also only a short walk into Keswick for its shops, pubs and restaurants

A brilliant place for a family holiday.

Beautiful house with amazing ever changing views of the mountains. A bonus that the family with toddler could be secluded down in the lower apartment so that early waking didn’t disturb the rest of the household. And having the pool table was a perfect distraction for rainy days.

Perfect cottage for a family catch up in a great location within walking distance of Keswick, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and facilities wee excellent. Only drawback is all the garden furniture was decayed and crumbling so nowhere really to enjoy the lovely big (but somewhat overgrown garden). Will definitely live to go back.

Perfect getaway for a large group!

The house has big bedrooms for all guests with bathrooms. The living room downstairs is great for relaxing and the upstairs dining room perfect for a big dinner! Great location to lots of great walks and only a short walk to Keswick for shops, pubs and cafes. Best part is the view to wake up to every morning!!!

Excellent location with plenty of space for 2 families

Great location with easy walk into the centre of Keswick. The accomodation is modern with plenty of space for 2 families including 5 teenagers. The table football table was a big plus on the rainy days. Easy access to other areas of the lakes.

Had a fantastic stay, location is perfect to town and lovely walks. Everything you need at the house only thing missing was maybe a stair gate at top of steep steps to downstairs appartnent and garden made sucure for children and dogs

A beautiful property in a quiet location with fantastic views.

We stayed at The Lookout with our family for my husband’s 75th birthday. The whole house has a lovely feel to it and felt very homely! The bedrooms and en-suites are very spacious and the downstairs is perfect for relaxing in front of the log burner after a day of walking! Thank you for the happy memories we have of our stay at The Lookout!

A great place to stay with amazing views

The Lookout is a lovely house with plenty of space and facilities. We stayed with family members for a wedding anniversary celebration and had a great time... the house is walkable to Keswick, has loads of parking, great cooking facilities and comfortable bedrooms.... even a ping pong table! The views over the hills from the back porch are amazing.
