Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the apartment’s fantastic location, with Keswick’s shops, amenities, and the lakeside walks all within such easy reach. It’s wonderful to know you found the apartment beautifully decorated and well equipped for your long weekend away. We’re also pleased the layout worked so well for your group, with plenty of space for six people and the added bonus of two bathrooms. Thank you again for your kind words. We’re so pleased you had such an enjoyable stay and that you’d definitely return — we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear the property was exactly what you needed and that it provided plenty of space for your group at a reasonable price. It’s great to know the bedroom configuration worked well for you too. Having the option of twin beds can make a real difference for families and groups, so we're pleased that suited your requirements. Thank you as well for your comments regarding the parking. As you mention, parking can sometimes require a little manoeuvring in Keswick, but we’re glad it was as expected and didn’t detract from your stay. Your kind words about our communication mean a great deal to us. As a small, local, family-run business, we take pride in providing helpful information and support throughout the booking process, so it’s wonderful to hear that stood out. The fact that you would book the house again if you return to Keswick is the best compliment we could receive. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you loved the cottage and enjoyed its great location and spacious layout. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the toilet rolls. We’ve actually increased our starter supply recently, so future guests will now find a couple more provided on arrival. The fact that you’ve already booked for next year really is the best recommendation we could ask for, and we truly appreciate your continued support. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back again for another fantastic stay. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi, Alan! It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay. While the weather wasn't great, it's a great excuse to use the open fireplace with a traditional Lakeland stone surround, and we do have washer/dryer facilities in the kitchen for cleaning up after a wet day! On the second floor there are two single bedrooms with views of Castle Head and Walla Cragg, so even if you didn't get to hike up, at least you had a brilliant view. We hope you'll consider visiting again in summer! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi Andy, Thank you for your review. Acorn Cottage is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre with it's many quirky shops and great places to eat and drink. Most places are dog friendly too which is great for your pooches! We're thrilled your boys loved their pup packs and we hope you all had a fantastic holiday. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi, Jane! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback — we really do appreciate it. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the spaciousness of Acorn and its easy walking distance to town, and that the beds were comfortable. We’re genuinely sorry about the bin situation you encountered. Bin collections are managed by the local authority rather than by us or the property owners, but we completely understand how frustrating it is to arrive and find them overflowing. We made every effort to get this resolved during your stay, and we’re grateful for your patience while we chased the council. It’s definitely not the welcome we want guests to have. Thank you as well for noting the bit of dust you spotted — we’ll follow up with housekeeping to make sure everything is up to our usual standards going forward. Acorn has quite a unique layout, and you’re right about both the compact kitchen and the rather quirky bath. The kitchen works well for day?to?day use, but it can feel tight if more than one person is trying to navigate it at once. Your comments are really helpful, and we’ll make sure they’re taken into account as we continue to review the property. We’re really glad that, despite these things, you found the property comfortable overall, and we appreciate your honest and balanced feedback. It helps us continue improving the experience for future guests. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
