Wai'ula'ula Ridge H201 is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom ocean view condo with many upgrades. There are expansive 180 degree ocean views from the lanai and living room. Enjoy beautiful outdoor spaces with great seating and a built-in Wolf BBQ and bar refrigerator. The Master bedroom has a king bed and TV/DVD player. The second bedroom has a king bed and TV/DVD player. The third bedroom has a king bed and TV/DVD player. Amenities include free wireless internet and central air conditioning.

Guests of Waiulaula Ridge H201 may purchase daily resort access to enjoy all facilities and amenities at both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Resorts. Access must be purchased for the entire duration of your stay and covers all registered guests in the unit. Please note: This privilege is offered directly by Mauna Kea Resort, and South Kohala Management is not responsible for any changes to resort services or amenities. Rates are as follows:
2025: $195 per day
2026: $225 per day (Base Rate) | $330 per day (Peak Rate). Peak rates apply from March 21-April 11, November 21-27, and December 19-January 2, 2027.
2027: Rates have not yet been determined and are subject to change.

Wonderful stay

The condo was perfect for our family of 4 and my parents. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. Access to the Mauna Kea and Westin were a big plus. The location was great. Just a short drive to both resorts. We would rent this unit again!

The views were spectacular, especially the sunsets. Nicely furnished and all the beds are super comfy. Very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this unit.

Very Healing and peaceful

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and view. All amenities you would need were there. We could have sat in the lanai for years and never tired of the view. Teenagers enjoyed their own bedrooms and bathroom. The condo is a bit dated and the AC in the master bedroom was finicky making it pretty hot a few nights. I wouldnā€™t invest in the high resort fees offered for the two items. Both beaches are public and good parking at one if you get there in the morning parking was fine. The waiulaula has their own pool and fitness center you donā€™t need the resort access to use. Really beautiful place. A bit of a drive to do things but this island is now my favorite and every view was new and beautiful.

Wonderful stay!

This is our 5th visit to the Big Island and 5th time staying in the condos at Mauna Kea. The pictures for this unit do not do it justice! It was really beautiful inside, the owners having chosen all the extras in the building process from finishes to molding. Excellent beds with beautiful linens. The condo is fully equipped and ready for cooking. The only missing were some silicone spatulas. Thereā€™ even a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Gorgeous views to watch the sunset. Again - the photos donā€™t do justice of the surrounding lush greenery. South Kohala is the current management team. Easy to work with. Very friendly. We used InstaCart for grocery delivery with no problems. We pay the resort fees and use pretty much every single amenity at both the Westin and the Mauna Kea. Food and service at both are excellent. Mai Taiā€™s slightly better this year at the Mauna Kea. :) Head up the road to Kawaihea to the Blue Dragon for live music and good food. Family environment and lots of locals. Also love the Seafood Bar and Grill. The best meal was at Ciprianoā€™s kitchen but they are only open from 8-3. However, Peruvian and Italian couple make excellent food. Youā€™ll need a reservation for lunch.

Peaceful, beautiful, high-end gorgeous, best lanai ever! Great location!

It is a gorgeous place inside and out. Kitchen seemed gourmet-ready, but hey I was on vacation; only thing I prepared was morning yogurt/granola/fruit bowls, oh and Sakamoto coffee (from Waimea Coffee Company--worth driving 20 minutes to). I loved eating breakfast on lanai (which fully blocked the occasional hard February winds), gazing at amazing view, listening to birds. Loved using the gym room with ac short 2 min walk away (lovely pool there too). Loved using giant tub at home, husband loved huge shower. 4 minute drive to Mauna Kea resort (amazingly good breakfast buffet with equally amazing view), 20 min drive to Lava Lava Beach club (great drinks, solidly good food, very busy, open air on Waikaloa's pretty A Bay beach), 10 min drive to best beach (Hapuna). Amazing sunshine thanks to Kohala coast location. 5 min to Kohala Divers in Kawaihae (Great Dive Op!). But . . . the bed was horribly soft and uncomfortable (sadly no bed lasts very long these days, no matter how high end), and trying to get hot water out of anything but the shower and tub (both of which strangely produced hot water quickly), was impossible. Hopefully you won't need it from kitchen or bathroom faucets. But truly I will put up with minor things like that to stay somewhere so clean, high-class, and, good grief that Lanai, so perfect for a relaxing vacation! I have a date with it again next February!

Great Place To Stay

ā€œThis is a fine, quiet, secure, three-bedroom condo unit, very well located at the north end of Wai'ula'ula, with expansive, sweeping views of the Kohala coast looking north. Maui is clearly visible over the water. The condo itself is spacious, well-appointed and nicely furnished. The lanai arrangement is great - large ranch-slider doors with sliding screens enable great air circulation. The excellent pool and fitness centre are just a minute's walk. You do need a car to get around but there are fine beaches a few minutes away and the village of Kawaihae is close by, where you can for example buy very fresh fish. We enjoyed our stay immensely. In short, a great place to stay.

Very Enjoyable!

We loved this condo! The location, above the Mauna Kea, was perfect for the destination wedding we were attending. The view was fabulous - lots of ocean and palm trees! The condo had a well-stocked kitchen. It comfortably slept 3 couples. Very peaceful and quiet! Just what we wanted!

Excellent

I have stayed in this unit on several different vacations. It has an incredible view of the ocean and the golf course. The kitchen is fully appointed with top of the line everything. I found nothing lacking. The beds are awesome and the furniture is above the norm. I recommend this unit over others I have stayed in. Very good value in all aspects. I will return.

Colorado vacationers

We have stayed in this particular condo several times over the past few years and it is exceptional in every way. The view of the ocean, the cleanliness, and attention to details make this a wonderful getaway. Then, there is the Amenities Center with the infinity pool, exercise area, and spa....all within a very short walk from the condo. The owners keep this unit outfitted with the best of everything, from linens, kitchen appliances and gadgets, comfy furniture, and tasteful decorating. Simply beautiful and relaxing !!! This is an excellent rental! It has a stunning view of the ocean and golf course. The sunsets are incredible! The amenity center has a wonderful workout area and the infinity pool so refreshing. The spa very hot for soaking tired golfing bodies! The kitchen fully stocked if you want to do your own cooking!
