Great Place in a great location

We love our easy access to many wonderful sites and fantastic restaurants and bars. The unit was safe, clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space

Great Apartment & Location !

We had a lovely stay at this apartment and it turned out to be close to so many things we wanted to do. The central AC and fans were an absolute blessing during hot summer months. All amenities were as described. Twin bedroom was smaller than anticipated but still worked for the young children. We had a minor maintenance issue and property manager had it fixed right away. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great location!!

Great location, easy walking distance to both Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor for great people-watching, good restaurants, and just general enjoyment. LOTS of space in apartment. First floor location was appreciated. Very easy entry with app. Overall very enjoyable. Kids recommend a larger TV screen for midday relaxation away from city exploring (and a smart TV with possible apps), but I never think those things matter the most. We loved Madrid and expect to be back!!

No heat or hot water the first night. Issues with communicating with the property manager to fix the problem. Check in process was a bit cumbersome. Could have used a roll of paper towels, soap, toilet paper etc. Had to buy them ourselves. Wouldn't go back.

Comfortable Apt in the Middle of Everything

Great place, fantastic location. Comfortable with good amenities and privacy between the two bedrooms. Common areas large, including private balcony. Nice neighborhood within 10 minute walk of practically every tourist attraction. Small grocery and pharmacy right across the street. Only complaint was MIT House phone app (required for check-in and opening doors). App was clunky and frustrating to use. Required scanning of IDs of occupants before check-in, but scan function would not recognize a passport--ended up scanning driver licenses but then required manual entry of all ID information already scanned. App also required two attempts before lock mechanism would successfully open apartment door every time.

The apartment is centrally located and easy to find. I was concerned about the keyless entry, but after fumbling around a bit, it was fine. Operator error issues! We put the MIT app on two phones just in case there were Internet issues, but there weren’t. The queen bedroom was spacious, but the other bedroom with twin beds is quite small. If you go as two couples you need to be aware of this. I always find it odd that washcloths aren’t universally used in Europe and that is the case here. They leave the bare requirements for your stay. We needed to get extra toilet paper. The apartment bathrooms also need a thorough cleaning. MIT responded quickly, but I’m not sure they read my emails thoroughly because I had to email them more than a few times to get the assistance I needed. All in all it was fine, just be aware of the very small second bedroom.

Great space & location

The space was actually a lot bigger than what we anticipated. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. It is also in a great location within walking distance to many attractions and there are restaurants and bars everywhere. The very minor complaints I have are: 1. They have air conditioning but it is not efficiency. They provide a lot of fans that help a lot but it can get warm in the apartment 2.There is really nowhere to hang towels. They have a flimsy stand alone towel rack that can support one towel at a time. It would be nice if they could provide a hook for towels in the shower. Also maybe a shelf in the shower to put your soap, shampoo, etc. 3. They don’t provide hand soap in the bathrooms or kitchen. They give you one small bar of bath soap that would last less than a day if you were using it to wash your hands. For the price of this space I think that providing hand soap to wash hands after using the bathroom and before eating is not too much to ask for. Overall these minor inconveniences would not stop me from renting this place again. It was very nice and in a great location

Lovely Apartment, Great Location, Difficult Door

The only reason I'm giving this lovely apartment four stars is because we experienced some problems with their electronic internet-connected lock system. The inside door was always a little difficult, and on our last night there, it wouldn't work for us at all and we were locked out. Fortunately, the management has an emergency line and they sent someone promptly to let us in. But setting up keyless entrance based on your phone's internet connection seems risky at best, and it caused us some unnecessary stress. Also, the apartment was not ready on the first day at the time stated for check-in. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but we were jet-lagged and waiting an extra few hours to get in was difficult. Otherwise, this was a clean, spacious, and comfortable apartment, well-provided with everything we needed and generally quiet except for the tenant upstairs who practiced piano late at night. (There was nothing management could do about this.) The location couldn't be better; it is close to many major sights and there are many choices for food (from restaurants to grocery stores) in the neighborhood. Management was responsive and easy to communicate with. There were a few small maintenance issues that they fixed quickly. All in all, a great place -- you just need to expect some problems with the entry system.

Der Check in ist aktuell etwas nervend, da Spanien anscheinend von jedem Gast die kompletten Ausweisdaten haben möchte. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Absolut ruhig da im Hinterhaus. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: Haken in den Bädern für Handtücher und mehr Geschirr als einmalig für 4 Personen… macht den Geschirrspüler effektiver.

Excellent Location for almost all the must see sites of Madrid

Other than a glitch with gaining entry to the apartment everything was great. Spacious and well located for the heart of Madrid, the facility was very clean and the beds and bath were very good

Much better than expected

I see why this place gets 5 stars. It is much better than the pictures. The place is huge. The kitchen was huge and the bedrooms are nice! The air is cold and the water is hot. It is in a perfect location. Literally, it could not be better. My only complaint is the check in process gave my heart palpitations. I did not receive anything about it and had to ask. I had to download their app "MIT house" and you have to put in an access code. I had to ask for that. He responded right away but I just wish I had that information without having to keep messaging the manager. It took about 30 minutes to get the system to accept and recognize our passports and faces. I was nervous that it would not work and that we would not be able to get in. But after completing that process about 10 times it finally took and we got in and out with no problems. The building is SO quiet that I thought we were the only ones there. Great VRBO and when I come back I will certainly rent it again =). 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Family vacation

This place is fantastic! Love the layout, the AC works so good and the location is awesome. Very clean and I appreciated the ease of check in and the app is great. The managers were great to communicate with in advance as well. Would highly recommend!

Muy bonito departamento. Amplio y muy cómodo

Este departamento es excelente en todos los aspectos. Amplio, cómodo, bien ubicado cerca de la plaza de Santa Ana pero sin ruido del exterior. Muy limpio, baños modernos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Su proceso de check in es un poco rígido, basado en su sistema de computo; cero flexibilidad.
