Great Holiday Villa

This holiday was a pleasure from start to finish with Lisa & Nigels prompt communication when booking and all information regarding getting to & from the villa. The villa itself was fantastic and Nigel was there every day to ensure that the hot tub & pool were kept in tip top condition during our stay. All of the advice from Lisa & Nigel on places to eat out/drink or get shopping were spot on and they do not recommend anywhere if it is not good enough. All I can say is that we had a really great time there & would happily recommend it to anyone.

Perfect!

Had such a fun week, a perfect environment for both entertaining and relaxing. Great facilities including a pool, hot tub, table tennis and games area, sky Tv and brilliant seating areas. Would recommend for families and large groups. Set in an idyllic area with olive groves and rolling hills, adjacent to a beautiful old town and turquoise lake. Whats more the supermarkets are seriously cheap, making expenses on Food and Alcohol extremely low especially when compared with the UK. In short look no further!!!!!

Wonderful

Lovely villa. Clean and well maintained. Owners were lovely,very friendly, helpful and eager to please. Communication with Lisa before the start of our holiday was brilliant, we had meals ordered and restuarants booked all before we arrived. Excellent. Cars are essential though for shopping etc. Had a fantastic week, it was gone in a flash.!!

Highly recommended for large groups

Had a very enjoyable and memorable holiday celebrating our fathers 80th birthday. Four families, 15 people including 7 grand children ranging from 7 to 17, all had a brilliant time with everything you need at the villa. Easy access to ground floor bedroom was ideal for father who is a little unsteady on his feet and there is plenty of space in and around the villa for everyone to relax and enjoy each others company. Lisa and Nige were the perfect hosts and could not have done more to make our stay a great success. Highly recommended!

Fantastic venue

We've just had 9 days away at a fantastic venue. The villa was spotless. Brilliant hospitality from Lisa and Nigel, nothing too much trouble. Had a few troubles with the shower and the jacuzzi, but Nigel did everything within his power to try and fix them. You could tell that they were genuinely concerned about us having a good time and not just trying to fob us off. Can't think of any other villa where we've been looked after so well. Keep up the good work Lisa and Nigel!

Can we give it 6 stars?

We were 17 people coming from France, New York, San Diego and Michigan for our wedding. Nigel and Lisa made that seemingly impossible task a care free reality. Day trips to Sevilla, Granada and local towns were easy due to the central location. My personal recommendation is to take a drive and hike El Torcal...unforgettable! Nigel and Lisa are true pros and have the best possible accommodation in the area. Thanks again!

Wonderful holiday

Where to start with this beautiful property. We travelled as a large family group and this villa had something for everyone. From the swimming pool to the hot tub, the pool table to the dart board- there is plenty to do. Scenery is also spectacular. Incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean there is nothing to fault at all. Lisa and Nigel cannot do enough for you and their knowledge of surrounding areas is excellent. They will also advise on best restaurants etc if you want to eat out - lovely couple who go out of their way to make your holiday experience amazing. Can’t wait to go back. We have had many villa holidays but none have been as good as this.

lovely family holiday

We had a family get together in June at Casa Pino Solo, 10 adults and 4 children aged from 4 months to 5 years. The villa is surrounded by beautiful mountains and olive groves......... and we experienced blue skies and hot sunny weather and had a very relaxing time. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the boys in particular played pool and table tennis. There were lots of shaded areas when it became too hot. Lisa and Nigel, the owners, were very kind and helpful and could'nt do enough for us. We had quite a lazy week although we did visit the Alhambra in Granada, which was very beautiful and some other local towns. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Casa Pino Solo, to those wanting a totally relaxing break.

The most amazing place you could ever visit!

A gem in the heart of rural Spain. The villa itself was absolutely incredible, fantastically well-equipped and with such picturesque views of Lake Iznajar and its neighbouring hills. We enjoyed many an idyllic evening dining alfresco and soaking up the late evening sunshine. Lisa and Nigel were fantastic hosts from day 1, providing us with supplies and a delicious paella supper. They were superbly nice and friendly and bent over backwards to help us with things. We especially appreciated Nigel's extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and things to do, of which there were copious! I would recommend this beautiful villa to anyone looking for unmatched scenery, a plenitude of available sights to visit or activities to enjoy or those merely wishing for unrivaled relaxation settings and the time of their lives! My best holiday ever, we all had such a wonderful time. Thank you so very much Lisa and Nigel.

My daughter's wedding!

You never feel you will find the perfect venue for that special day but we did! Lisa and Nigel could not have been more helpful every problem was solved easily. They are supportive without being intrusive - NOTHING is too much trouble for them. The villa is beautiful and everything you could possibly need and don't even know that you need is available. Lisa and Nigel did everything the could to make this wedding the perfect occasion. The villa is spotless and suitable for every age group and ability. the rooms are comfortable and you feel important. This will certainly be a week we will never forget - we laughed, had fun, eat good local food and just felt safe and secure in our outstanding accomodation. What a blessing that we found Casapinasolo for the day that meant so much. Thanks for everything!

CASA PINO SOLO - SIMPLY THE BEST

We are a group of friends& family (grown up with partners) who for many years have taken a large villa in September for fun holidays. We therefore have a good deal of experience of the large villa experience. Casa Pino Solo is simply the best and it will be hard to find anything to surpass it. Lisa and Nigel are there to help and advise without being intrusive - just what you need if you are new to the area. People cycled walked canoed visited Cordoba and Granada, some of us golfed and others lazed by the pool or in the Jacuzzi. We all ate and drank to much. Lisa BBQd and did curry for us and we also sampled Antonio’s excellent paella (brought in) as well as his tapas at his bar in the village. The kitchen equipment was super and the pool kitchen's proximity to the pool a big bonus. All the fridges got good use for that essential beer/wine. The rooms were great and beds comfy. We miss Nigel's morning visits and hope he is bearing up under the strain of Liverpool's recent performances! We are looking forward to returning to Casa Pino Solo in the future. Simply the Best - our Saturday night Karaoke rendering probably didn't do it justice. Many thanks Robin Katy & crowd

Back for a second time

If your looking for a somewhere for a large family group this place is fantastic! This was our second year here and it was as good as the first and a little hotter too! My girlfriend and i stayed here for a fortnight with 17 other family members in July and had a cracking time. The facilities are great for chilling out and relaxing and the weather was amazing. During the day if it wasnt sun bathing and relaxing it was playing pool, table tennis, water volley ball or darts competetions. On a night we often took the lazy option and ordered food through lisa, we had alsorts of fantastic food mexican, BBQ, lasagne or curry, there was always stacks and it was delicious! This gave us pleanty of time for a game of bingo or a blast on the kareoke, apologisies to elvis and the neighbours for that version of suspicious minds!! For those that dont like the sun there is planty of shade to relax under and large living room which stays cool during the day, sky and a range movies available as well. If your looking to get out and about this is in an amazing part of spain, we took cars and went to the local towns (iznajar is a steep climb but worth it if you visit the moorish castle at the top) and ventured to the local lake which is incredible. Lisa and nige cant do enough for you and really made it a cracking holiday - thanks guys. Pete and Maddy x

perfect holiday!

Just got back from a wonderful week away to casa pino solo. It's the first time I've organised such a large group (there was 17 of us in total) and Lisa and Nige were there every step of the way. My boyfriend turned 30 and a mixture of friends and family joined us to celebrate. The villa is wonderfully well kept and Nige was there maintaining the pool and hottub everyday to ensure it was kept perfect. We were the first to try out magic minerals in the pool and it really made a refreshing change from the chlorine in normal pools... A luxurious spa treatment almost! Lisa was like a long lost pen pal by the time I got there! Helping me to sort out transfers, taxis, meals out and an excursion away to Granada And even helped to get food delivered into the villa on the day of the arrival so we didn't have to rush to the supermarket! I'd deffinately reccommend the paella making evening at the local restaurant and the chicken and chips delivery! Great! Pepe's bar is very reasonable and only a 10 minute walk away, taxis can be arranged through local friends Jeff and Darrel who were knoledgeable guides to the local area and couldn't do enough for you. We were extremely lucky to have excellent weather to top off one of the best breaks we've had. Everyone is singing the praises of the holiday and my organisation skills!! Thanks Lisa and Nige!!! Hope to visit again one day!

Celebration for a 50th and 18th

Well were to start! Firstly Lisa and Nigel are THE MOST helpful hosts we have EVER had the pleasure to meet whilst on holiday in a villa! Nothing was ever to much trouble. They organised restaurants for a lovely meal , booked us coaches for days/nights out, organised takeaways, which is a MUST the food was to die for we ordered it two nights and recommended to visit Iznajar Lake and beach which was AMAZING!!👍 The little pub up the hill they told us to try out was also a hit, Pepe and Higieno (Who cooks and delivers your takeaway food) was so friendly and also go out their way for you, again nothing was to much trouble for a large group of 16 and its only a stroll back down aswell 😉 THE VILLA ❤ Spotlessly clean 👌 Smells beautifully fresh Extra Large squshy sofa to squash into to watch a movie was devine. The beds are soooo comfy we all raved about them EVERY morning 🤣 The quilts and bedding are top quality! Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Beer fridge was perfect for larger groups. Lots of seating areas to relax in or sit in the sun with a beer. Hot tub was a hit when it got cooler. Pool was perfect no salt or chlorine water just minerals 🥰 Pool table and table tennis was great. The roof terrace is just outstanding the views up there are breathtaking and gorgeous to wake up to ❤ We CANNOT fault Casa Pino Solo in ANY way it was PERFECT just like the hosts!! Nigel and Lisa thankyou from the bottom of my heart you was so lovely. Xx

Wonderful!

We were a large group of friends and family that took over the whole villa. From the moment we arrived to our warm welcome from Lisa and Nigel to the time we left our gracious hosts were always on hand for advice, help and support, not to mention the amusing anecdotes! The place is large, spacious and luxurious and I have to say EXCEPTIONALLY clean! The locale is spectacularly breathtaking and the lake is beautiful. As are the little villages surrounding the area. The locals are very friendly and the little bars have the most amazing tapas I've ever had. Lisa and Nigel really do go the extra mile for their guests. I'd picked up a virus on the plane over and was incredibly ill for the first few days. Nigel was wonderful and followed us down to the medical centre to help with translation to make sure I was ok. We had car hire difficulties when we first arrived and they did a shopping run for us. They really were amazingly accommodating. The children of our group had a great time due to the amenities provided at the villa and it was a wonderful first time abroad for one of our families. It's a beautiful place run by beautiful people to whom it seemed nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to know that you could pop out in the morning to find Nigel (who comes in every day to check the pool and jacuzzi) and get any advice, support or one of his amusing stories. We had a wonderful time and would recommend anyone to go and experience the five star joy that is Caso Pino Solo! We will be again! Thank you Lisa & Nigel you were amazing hosts, long may you continue!

As website describes & great value for money!

We travelled from Italy to stay in Casa Pino Solo (7-17 July) with our diverse group of Irish buddies (3-53 years of age) ... I'd have to say that when we found this "venue" initially - willing to accept our exuberant group of 19 at very reasonable cost - we wondered could it be true? What was the catch? Well here's the thing ... Casa Pino Solo is exactly as described on the website (no tricky text or photos) ... what you see is what you get ... great value for money ... so it certainly met - and exceeded - our expectations! The villa is well equipped for big groups ... lots of cutlery, dishes, chairs, tables etc. The location of the villa - set on its own ground - in the countryside allowed us to sleep late without being disturbed and party all night without having the neighbours bother us!!! Just as well as our own theme nites - organised by our on site “Entertainment Mgr” - could certainly be described as lively! Lisa and Nigel are professional "holiday facilitators" and "vocational" in their attempts to ensure all holiday needs are met ... we availed of their offers to organise a beauty day, paella nite, cooked chicken day etc. Plus the extras they offered ... introducing us to "Mr Internet" in Iznajar, late night medical advice, picking up fresh fruit & veg when we forgot too ... will not be forgotten. Two highlights for us ... getting to interact with the locals (who are NOT tourist jaded!) in the "local" on the nite Spain won the World Cup (what memories!) + Mr Vegetable man-in-the-van (locally grown produce delivered to the doorstep)!! Of course we'd a few hiccoughs (with a group this size it happens...) and in an ideal world air-conditioning in all the bedrooms would be a luxurious addition ... that being said - when we chatted to Lisa and Nigel about it - the local climiate (hot and dry and cool in the evening) means it's not essential if you can open your windows and breathe in the fresh (sometimes very scented!) country air coming via the olive groves PLUS we wouldn't want to drive up the cost of hiring this villa and deny others the opportunity to visit Casa Pino Solo. We would recommend this as a holiday location ... our Italian friends would love the ambience and cooler evenings during the summer ... and we would certainly think about a "return" visit ... who knows maybe in the Spring Sierra Nevada to try out the ski slopes there!?!?!?

Thank you for your comments, we truly appreciate it. Just to confirm our rating we placed previously does not specifically mean Valentina but the group as a whole. Sadly we did have issues with house rules and noise but this was the group as a whole and not necessarily the person on this booking. To confirm Valentina is a very nice person that we had good communication with throughout, its just a shame as a student group they did let us down. We dont accept parties and events and it is strictly in our booking policies and we did have complaints from neighbours regarding noise throughout the night till 5am in the morning. This would not have happened I am sure if it had been a family group.

tres grande maison bien située au milieu de forets d'oliviers

Ce pied à terre au centre de l'Andalousie nous a permis de visiter Grenade Cordoue Malaga et Ronda facilement (Séville est plus loin avec 2h de route mais nous l'avons visiter à l'arrivée et au départ) . Rentrer le soir et profiter du jacuzzi avec 9°C dehors était fort sympathique même si on attendait plutôt un grand soleil et 25°C ! Les propriétaires sont charmants.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Casa Pino Solo to celebrate mine and my friend's 50th birthdays. The house is exactly like the pics and I can confirm all the other wonderful reviews. Lisa was fantastic with organising everything from ordering meals in on some evenings, organising two lovely restaurants and arranging for the beauty therapist to spend a day at the house. It was just heaven for a week. So much fun. I couldn't recommend this property and the owners enough!! Thank you Lisa and Nige.

Vi var 18 personer fra 0- 70 år. Huset kunne rumme os alle og alt levede op til flotteste standard.

Et fantastisk hus, som i den grad levede op til beskrivelsen. En udsøgt service og imødekommenhed af Nigel og Lisa. Vi havde en dejlig ferie med plads og rum til os alle.

Just Perfect

What more can be said about Casa Pino Solo that hundreds of people haven't already said ? A fabulous villa in an idyllic setting with top class facilities, to suit all ages. We were a large family group, children to Grandparents and everyone had a fantastic holiday. Everyone made use of the fantastic swimming pool and hot tub. Lots of competitions for the sporty ones pool and table tennis. Lots of chillaxing areas for a quiet drink or a snooze. Fab furniture and extremely comfortable beds with luxurious bedding. Lisa & Nige were extremely helpful and ordered Paella to be delivered to the Villa from the local bar/restaurant Los Pajaritos which was delicious. Easy drive into Iznajar, a beautiful village, visits to Granada & Cordoba are a must. Looking forward to a return trip
