Hukilau Beach and the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Ko'olau mountains on the other, Hale Lani lives up to its name as the “House of Heaven.” The perfect choice if you’re traveling with a large family or a group of friends, this home is one of only two on the entire beach that is licensed for vacation rental, NCU 90/TVU -0043. Sitting on one of the biggest beachfront properties on the bay, the 2/3 acre and 4200 square foot estate feels completely private from the surrounding properties. Recently rebuilt and renovated, the home comfortably accommodates 14 guests in six bedrooms. All new furniture, beds, appliances, fixtures, A/C units, and linens, this home is as beautiful and fresh as it is relaxing. The kitchen is stocked for the gourmet chef in the group, with over 20 feet of counter space and views looking straight out to the water. The sunrise should not be missed from the balcony upstairs and the beautiful new gazebo that sits overlooking the beach will keep you relaxed and content for hours.

Both the host and the facilities were excellent! Ashley was very helpful from the very first contact, to attending to our requests when we arrived. The facility and amenities for exceeded our expectations from the VRBO photos. I have already recommended this place to many friends.
People watching was a favorite activity.

Our family enjoyed two weeks during Christmas break 2025 staying at this home in Laie. It was the perfect base of operations for us no the North Shore. The small town offered everything we needed - the Foodland supermarket is down the street and there are amazing food trucks nearby. We spent quite a bit of time in town because we were always at the beach. The direct access from the house was phenomenal. It allowed some of our family to hit the sand from sunrise to sunset while others checked in and out while retreating to the chef's kitchen, ample backyard, and quiet (and air conditioned) interior rooms. And the views of the stars at night were phenomenal given the lack of light pollution and the clear vista over the Ocean.The beach might as well have been private. There were often families visiting, but there was ample space on the sand and in the water so that you couldn't even hear anyone else. Winter in the North Shore means more intense ocean conditions, but we found that the undertow was not overly strong and conditions were ripe for jumping in the waves and boogie boarding. The layout of the house was also perfect for making sure that everyone was not on top of each other. And the rest of Oahu is accessible via car, so we were able to venture out for Honolulu for activities, then return from those crowds to peaceful solitude. We hope to return since this was a tremendous experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our group of ten fit easily in the bedrooms and the common areas are spacious. The backyard ocean view deck was our favorite place to gather in the mornings over coffee. The beach is great and a short drive away from many other wonderful North Shore beaches. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The main contact for the property answered any questions we had. If we return with a similar sized group we will book this location again!

Our stay at this beautiful oceanfront home in Laie, Hawaii was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were met with breathtaking views of turquoise water stretching endlessly across the horizon. The house itself was spotless, spacious and thoughtfully designed with island charm. Large windows and wide open living spaces made it feel like the ocean was part of the home. We loved enjoying coffee in the gazebo each morning and relaxing there again for sunset. The location was peaceful and private and had everything you would need during your stay. Our host was super helpful and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. This home is truly a dream. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing or memorable stay. If you’re considering booking this place, do it! The only downside is leaving.

This house was absolutely amazing. My husband, myself, and five other couples stayed for a week to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The house was even better than the photos. The views from the house and from the gazebo are breathtaking. The beach access is super convenient. The house is super clean, spacious, and very cozy. The hostess/manager, Ashley, made check-in, check-out, etc very simple. We absolutely loved our stay!

What you see is what you get, and then some! The property abuts the public beach (all beaches are public). The grounds are well kept as well as the house. Plenty of room inside and out for a large family. There are beach toys in good working order left over from previous guests.The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs along with a good selection of spices. There are 2 washers and and dryers so doing laundry is fast.Our host Ashley was very responsive to our questions and needs that arose during our stay. You will feel right at home in this house.

This was our third time staying at this beautiful property on Oahu’s North Shore. Once again everything was wonderful. The location of this home is pure perfection. Hukilau Beach is such a fun beach and it’s just a few feet from the back door of this home. Our family loves playing at the beach and then showering off at the house’s outdoor shower, going inside for food and snacks and rest. Then repeat. The home is well appointed with all the things to make it easy to prepare meals and snacks. Then the location of restaurants are easy to access too. The home has lovely bedrooms and bathrooms that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The property manager, Ashley, is excellent with communication and it’s always delightful when she stops in for a quick visit. We have loved each of our three vacations to this home and hope to return again soon.

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning home in Laie. The property is absolutely beautiful--spacious, immaculately clean, and clearly very well maintained. Every room was thoughtfully furnished and comfortable, making it perfect for our group. The location is unbeatable--right on the beach! Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise each morning was truly magical. The beach felt like our own private stretch of paradise. The host was fantastic--incredibly responsive and helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly. This vacation rental stands out as one of the very best and we would absolutely stay here again. Mahalo for an amazing experience!

A, 5-star experience

Cannot recommend this property enough. It is supremely well equipped with all the stuff you'd expect, and also stuff you wouldn't such as a Ninja blender, Tupperware containers for leftovers, a griddle for making pancakes, multiple ovens, etc.Each room has its own A/C control, which was great because no one in my family can agree on the "correct" temperature. The backyard gazebo overlooking the ocean was a great place to spend evenings, and the beach was just a few steps away.Ashley, the property manager, was friendly and responsive every time I reached out. The only complaints are very minor nitpicks: the Temple facing room's ensuite shower only ranged from hot to very hot, which was fine until we sunburned our shoulders. The grill wouldn't light with the electric starter and needed a lighter, and the egg pans are hard to clean after cooking eggs. But those minor things pale in comparison to everything this place and it's staff does well. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

Right on Hukilau beach!

Great beach house! We have stayed at this beach house a couple of times and just love it! It is right on Hukilau beach. The house is clean and has everything we need. Ashley is very responsive and helpful. Close to Kahuku Sugar Mill food trucks. Highly recommend staying here. Highlrecommend staying here!

Fabulous place!

This home is absolutely incredible! Perfect location on Hukilau beach. Just a fantastic house with all the amenities. Beautifully kept. Air Conditioning! Great views and immediate access to the beach. Wonderful host/property manager in Ashley. My family and I have stayed here several times now and we will keep coming back because it's the perfect place. I can't say enough about it--it's amazing!

Great stay for family group

Property is well maintained and located steps from the beach. Our group of eight adults and five small children felt right at home with plenty of space for cooking, dining, socializing, and enjoying the outdoors. The kitchen includes just about everything you might need for preparing any kind of meal. There were plenty of beach towels and an outdoor grill as well as outdoor dining and sitting options.The home is located a half mile from a grocery store and a mile from the Polynesian Cultural Center. A large concentration of food trucks is located less than two miles away. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this beachfront estate.

Family Vacation

We loved this house !! Rooms where clean and spacious! Everyone had their own restrooms/shower! We loved that we can walk to the beach from the backyard! Definitely recommend this home! Ashely was nice and friendly she made sure we had everything we needed!
