Malaekahana Beachfront Oasis Steps from Excellent Sandy-Bottom Swimming

Completely restored in 2024, this light-filled, 2,800-sq-ft, open concept home features breathtaking views of Malaekahana Bay. Enjoy the fully equipped modern kitchen, living/dining room for easy entertaining and a recreation room that has a ping-pong table, a game table, and a 65-inch TV. Three bedrooms, each with their own en suite and ceiling fan, complete the residence. This home sleeps 10 (up to six adults and four children). There is one additional bathroom and three enclosed outdoor showers.

A short walking path leads directly to the expansive, white sand beach, perfect for swimming and both body and board surfing. Malaekahana beach is a hidden treasure and never crowded.

Situated off a private driveway, with onsite parking for up to four vehicles, there is a large yard for croquet and a barbecue grill and a sports court. The home is wired with high-speed internet and a full security system.

1 hour from the Honolulu Airport and Waikiki, 30 minutes from the historic town of Haleiwa, 20 minutes from Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach, minutes from Kahuku food trucks, fine dining at Turtle Bay Resort, zip-lining, horseback riding at Gun Stock Ranch, golf, and the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Amenities: Mountain and ocean-side decks, washer/dryer, full bathrooms, hairdryers in each bathroom, three enclosed outdoor showers, ping pong table, gas grill, high speed internet, full security system, hammock, games and puzzles, large yard with sport court, luxury linens and towels, fully stocked kitchen.

Your host lives next door and can quickly respond to guest questions and concerns. The names of each guest must be provided to the owner/manager upon reservation. Any change to the approved guest list must be preapproved by the owner/manager.

Please note that we do not allow camping or tenting on the grounds. And please, NO parties or gatherings. The septic system cannot accommodate large groups.

The Beachfront Oasis is exactly that! The home is stunning. By far the best kept property we have ever rented. Location is the more remote north shore so we cooked most meals in and enjoyed some down time. There are some fun food trucks and small towns to explore that are an easy drive. Easy walk to the beach and upon returning, you can enter through the outdoor shower - genius for keeping sand out of the house! Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

If you love the North Shore there isnā€™t a more perfect location for a family. The lay out, views, and access to the beach is amazing. We will be returning here anytime we come to Oahu. The remodel is beautiful and Brynn the property care taker is wonderful.

The house and location were amazing. Everything you could want was at the house for you to use, from basketballs to surf boards. Everything in the kitchen was new and much nicer than most rentals. Listening to the ocean waves from the upstairs bedroom was very special.The only negative we experienced was hot water trouble throughout our trip. For some reason the system was on a timer and it kept shutting off. Even when we overrode the timer it continued to turn off and not produce hot showers. For a rental of this caliber, and cost, really an unacceptable thing to deal with for a week.

Exclusive Escape!

We all appreciated the attention and care, especially from the lovely host, Brynn! The location is incredible - exclusive sandy beach, fun activities, and close to north shore attractions (Waimea Falls, Polynesian Cultural Center, Pupukea snorkeling, food trucks, etc.). The house was stunning and relaxing, and we loved seeing the sea turtles swimming by the shore!

Excellent property and one of the best VRBOā€™s weā€™ve ever stayed. There were many thoughtful details that make the stay extra comfortable. The A/C cools down the bedrooms extremely well. The trade winds bring a nice breeze to the living areas. We used the pickleball court, indoor ping pong and all the boogie boards and surf boards. The beach is pristine and hardly anyone is around. The bathrooms had nice fluffy towels, extra towels and good quality shampoo and conditioner. They even have a closet full of beach towels, couple coolers and shopping bags to use. Thank you for helping make our family trip very enjoyable!

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

This property is gorgeously re-done. Everything is top of the line, the location is unbelievable (centrally located to everything in North Shore but very private) and the beach is practically private. I think we saw 2-3 people walk past during our week stay, but otherwise it was like having a private path down to our own beach. I would highly recommend this to families looking for a private and relaxing getaway.

This is a piece of heaven. Everyone had a wonderful time and all of them want to return with other family members. Its peaceful atmosphere and fun amenities made everyone happy, from the nine year old who learned tennis and ping pong to the the older members of the party who relaxed and let go of the stress of daily life. Wish we could stay forever!

Our family loved this house. It is beautiful! The house has an open floor plan which enabled our family to enjoy each other while still giving plenty of opportunity to spread out. The view from the house is amazing and there is a very short walk down a beautiful path to a gorgeous beach. No one wanted to leave! We hope to be able to visit the home again soon!

A fantastic family beachhouse

This is the perfect family getaway house on the North Shore of Oahu. We live only 25 minutes away and it feels like another world. The house is open, roomy and fun for family get-togethers with separate rooms and bathrooms, a ping-pong table and a perfect kitchen for making and enjoying meals together. The beach is beautiful and feels like a private beach - we took morning walks with our coffee and were all alone. Part of me does not want to say anything because we will definitely be back and don't want the competition in booking it.

Excellent place for a family getaway

This was an excellent place for our first family trip to Hawaii. The property manager, Brynn, was absolutely wonderful and there to help us check in. The house was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our family, and fully furnished. No a/c but not needed with the cool ocean breeze every evening that kept the house very pleasant. The kitchen has everything needed and with the local grocery store only five minutes away we were able to prepare most meals there. The location is amazing and the best part. Practically right on the beach in a quiet area. We spent many many hours playing in the sand, swimming, and walking along the beach. Boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, and towels were provided. This property is close to many fun activities on the north shore (zip line, polynesian culture center, turtle bay, Waimea falls, and many others). Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to Hawaii.

Great place for family vacation

Nice place if you want to enjoy the beach. Each bathroom has an outside shower to wash-off the sands. Very nice property. A bit worn down due to natural elements. But, awesome in every other aspects.

Great house in a great location

Our family stayed here in November 2021. House was clean, well kept, well stocked and met our needs perfectly. The beach was perfect for our family. Our elementary aged kids enjoyed boogie boarding and playing in the sand. Location to North Shore activities was great - close enough to get where you wanted to be and far enough away from the crowds so we felt like we had our own slice of paradise. We would absolutely rent this house again.

Wonderful beach house!

More than enough room for our family of 5, even with so many things to go out and see it was hard to leave the comfort of this home. Relaxing and enjoying the beach all day is a pretty good option! Loved the ping pong table and the many bathrooms and outdoor/indoor showers. Would love to stay here again if we have the chance.

Amazing Experience

We had a wonderful time staying here. The place is amazing. You have plenty of room and the beachfront is a beautiful cove area. You are far from the hustle and bustle and will enjoy large areas of the beach alone. The closest beach neighbors were always hundreds of yards from us. Sand castle equipment, beach chairs, toys, and a large umbrella are all ready and available for an enjoyable beach experience. The house is unique with each of the three bedrooms having its own private full bathroom with a closet, and a central half bathroom for company. There are two outdoor showers connected straight into the indoor bathrooms on each side of the residence. You have up to 17 comfortable indoor chairs in the living areas, and 28 chairs counting barstools and wooden chairs, not counting the outdoor porch seating. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you could imagine for cooking and serving. The amount of natural light will keep you from having to utilize any lights during the day. The amount of towels, beach towels, and provided linens is numerous. We have a family of five and normally battle this with the washing machine multiple times a day, but here we could of easily went a week if desired. This residence is very well equipped. Our host Brynn was amazing. We were provided a tour and shown how everything works. She was friendly and attentive. We were provided her contact information in the event we needed help with anything. We were originally a little worried with not having AC, coming from Oklahoma. The large exterior doors with screens provide a constant breeze through the house, which kept us comfortable. Book this, you wonā€™t be disappointed.
