PAMADUIH - Cabin on the Ocean Cliff

An exclusive tropical cabin in the best location on the island of Tierra Bomba. Ideal for unwinding and relaxing surrounded by nature. It’s located just about 15 minutes from the Bocagrande neighborhood in Cartagena. It’s a cozy spot featuring a unique panoramic view, exclusive and direct access to the ocean, a private dock, pristine beaches, and spacious common areas teeming with flora and fauna—perfect for hiking and exploring the entire island.

You reach the cabin by climbing a series of rustic stairs and ramps. At the lower end of the property, you can access the ocean via the pier area. The cabin features a first level containing the kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, and a spacious balcony. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, and all the basic cooking utensils. The dining room is made of wood and seats up to 12 people. The master bedroom features a double bed and a single bed with a trundle bed underneath it. The second bedroom has two bunk beds, which are double on the bottom and single on the top. The bathroom area includes a shower, sink, and two separate toilets. The balcony features wooden chairs and hammocks. On the second level, you’ll find the mezzanine, a place where you can relax, feel the sea breeze, continue to admire the view, and enjoy the company of others or peacefully read a magazine or book. Outside the cabin is the sun deck, where you can soak up the sun, tan on sun loungers, and use the saltwater and freshwater showers. It’s also close to the outdoor kitchen, where you can grill and share a delicious BBQ, appetizers, and drinks with family and friends.

Important: If you have a basic reservation (for up to 2 people), you will have access to the entire property and its common areas, but you may only stay in the master bedroom.

You may request the cooking service. Guests must provide all ingredients to the cook. The cook specializes in preparing traditional Caribbean dishes: fried fish, coconut rice, patacones, salads, and more.
Payment for this service is made in cash directly to the cook.
The cook’s service is available until 8:00 p.m.

For safety reasons, we recommend staying out of the water after sunset.

Since the property is located in the tropics, right on the beach, and surrounded by nature, it’s normal to encounter wildlife in the surrounding area—such as birds, crabs, lizards, bees, and other creatures—given its natural setting. Therefore, we suggest not leaving food out, as it could attract insects, ants, flies, and other pests from outside.
Additionally, depending on the time of year, there may be mosquitoes, sand flies, and other insects; bees may also be attracted to the pollen of certain plants; and there may be jellyfish or seaweed in the ocean. Jellyfish are a species that, depending on the time of year, “are washed ashore by strong breezes, especially during the first few months of the year.”
Also, during the rainy season, it’s worth keeping in mind that you shouldn’t leave too many lights on at night to prevent insects—which are naturally attracted to light—from gathering.
For these reasons, please be mindful of animals in the ocean or in the surrounding environment, and we recommend using bug spray when necessary.
