To enjoy the most beautiful view of the old and modern city we have two very special terraces where you will feel that the Church of San Pedro Claver sleeps next to you... and to better enjoy all this scenery you will have a spectacular Bar that we provide with everything you need. you want, located in the beautiful living room on the second level of the apartment.

Amazing apartment!

What an amazing apartment! Jorge and Fanny were great, the location is amazing and the view has to be the best in the old town. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return again to Cartagena and stay in this apartment.

Great overall

Great location . Great accommodation. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen is un usable due to hot weather because it is open to the outside…but we are out every meal so it wasn’t an issue. If you don’t mind that this is definitely the place for you. The host could be better at communicating but everything worked out just fine. I would recommend

Short Stay

Leaks in multiple places in the ceilings. They used Varnish on the door before we arrived, and the smell was overwhelming. Had to check out and get a hotel. Property manager came over right away and helped us adjust the stay. Very nice people and sad it didn't work out.

Simply the best....

The home is wonderful, the location is ideal, and Jorge and Billy (the house attendants) are the friendliest, most helpful people in all of Cartagena. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting this historic city. My hat is off to owner (Greg) for providing a unique and memorable way to enjoy this special part of the world. A place to which I will certainly return.

Fantastic location, beautiful spacious apartment!

We had a fantastic visit to Cartagena- an amazing city to visit! The apartment was centrally located and beautiful! Jorge was a delight to have as caretaker! Extremely friendly and helpful! We hired Billie to cook a couple meals and they were delicious. All in all the perfect place to stay in historic Cartagena!! If you're there and looking for an authentic home cooking experience, we highly recommend Duran Duran!

Gorgeous flat, dynamite location, wonderful host

My family of five had a wonderful stay last week! The flat is just lovely and in a wonderful location on the edge of the city. The roof deck and small pool were great to relax in after a day of walking around. An easy walk to the marina for departures to the islands. Rosanna and her husband are lovely. She was super helpful with restaurant recommendations, covid testing and even a ride to the airport! We have VRBO'ed several times and this is one of our favorites "Mom, you hit it out of the park". Highly recommend.

Epic views

I stayed at this property in December during the COVID. But it did not matter because it’s wonderful just hanging out at the property. I enjoyed the variety of birds from the pool and drinking beer. Jorge was awesome and became a friend. He will grocery shop for you and he made us breakfast everyday. The location of this property is unbeatable. I highly recommend this property

Great apartment, excellent service and management

I would recommend staying here to anyone, it’s a well appointed flat in my opinion perfect for a family of 4. The master is wonderful large airy room with a balcony overlooking the picturesque street and cathedral. The second room is good for kids as it’s a bit dark, an interior room without a window so another adult couple might be envious of the master. The best part about the flat though is the upstairs common area with two open air balconies and plenty of room to spread out. High recommend. Location could not be better.

Best VRBO in Cartagena

Do not hesitate to book this VRBO the location is perfect all balconies and outside area had the most amazing views of walled city. This apartment gives the best authentic feel of Cartagena and Rossana and Martin’s hospitality was the best. It made us not even want to leave the VRBO. Decor of apartment is so neat on each level. Spa/Pool outside we used every night so peaceful, air conditioning was perfect coming in from Colombian heat after walking around the city. There wasn’t a thing we couldn’t walk to, location is so convenient. We were so sad when we had to leave and definitely will be back:) Thank you for the amazing hospitality Rossana and Martin!

Amazing home with an even better host!

From the moment I booked the house Rosanna was extremely helpful, super nice and made sure that everything needed was taken care of. My flight cam in late and her and her husband waited until I arrived to make sure there were no issues. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the photos do not do any justice. Everything you need and could want is walking distance from the house. 10/10! In addition Senora Ana made amazing meals, the house was always spotless, I will deffinitley be staying here again! strongly recommend if you are going to be in Cartagena!

Amazing

What an amazing experience staying at Rosanna’s apartment in the walled city. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the AC was perfect to come back to after exploring the city in the heat. My kids loved the pool, although we have to watch them closely as it’s on the roof top. The pool was a great place to relax after a morning or afternoon of walking. We also loved Ada, she cooked a wonderful breakfast for my family every morning as well as made our beds and did some laundry. It was nice coming home with clean clothes. Overall the stay was 5 star and we only stay at vrbos when we travel due to ease with kids. Thank you Rosanna for the wonderful stay and hospitality!!

The photos of the property were great but they don’t nearly tell the story. In a lot of ways the property looks bigger than advertised. Great decor gave it a unique personality. The stairs may be a a bit much for some people but they weren’t even a factor to me and I’m not in the greatest of shape. Water pressure and temperature in certain bathrooms might be the only drawback I can think of but I would stay here again because it seems like Rosanna has taken the time to provide everything you would need which shows she cares about the place and will probably fix that. Ada kept the place very clean, was very helpful, and cooked a delicious breakfast (if you opt for that). Overall, a great place to stay

Perfect Vacation Property.

We had a fantastic time here. This place is an oasis in the best part of town and my only complaint is that I cant give it more stars. The property is so beautiful that we enjoyed hanging out there just as much as touring the city. Jorge was great to have around and really made the trip for us, and Billys cooking was better than most meals we had out. The only thing I feel like I can add to the endless 5 star reviews of this property is a review of the 2nd bedroom. We were two couples traveling together so the question of who gets the master bedroom was a big decision and I didn't see it mentioned by anyone else in much detail. Have no fear, the second bedroom was just as good as the first, just a little smaller and slightly less lavish. It had its own bathroom and was actually much quieter than the master, which is on the main main street, so the 2nd was easier to get good sleep in. I actually preferred the 2nd bedroom for those reasons.

Horrible experience, bad host

Our host Rossana rented out our apartment to someone else before we arrived without letting us know. We had no hot water available for showers. The host was sending maintenance people in to the apartment without notice at all times of the day. Due to the lack of hot water and lack of proper security we ended up moving to a hotel. We have small children and proper services and security is always most important to us. We would recomend avoiding this host and her properties at all cost, not woth the hassles...

Faded glory

We were excited to stay at this luxurious property in the heart of the walled city, but ultimately we were disappointed. This property is truly in the center of the action! Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of attention to detail both with respect to service ( butler provided but not especially helpful) and cleanliness. We engaged the services of the optional cook. We were told that this would cost $15 daily but on the day of departure we were asked to pay $20 per day- a reasonable charge but not as advertised. Prepared meals were acceptable. Note that the pool is small and not suitable for swimming. We were expecting a larger pool based on the photos. Views from the terrace were lovely. Location is secure.

Superb property to experience Cartegena!

Our trip to Cartegena was fantastic and this home was the biggest reason why. The master bedroom and bath were beautiful and comfortable with large doors to a balcony ready to let in the morning sun when the shutters opened. The smaller second bedroom was perfect for our 16 year old. We started our days on one of the top floor patios for coffee, Jorge’s amazing breakfast and the sounds of San Pedro Clavel below. After exploring the Old City, we’d return to the jacuzzi and drinks on the other top floor patio until cool breezes and the sunset ushered in plans for dinner at any of the wonderful restaurants within walking distance. We would have enjoyed more cook prepared meals at home, but ran out of days. Fanny was always available for assistance with restaurant recommendations and willing to help set up activities. Jorge who lives on the property constantly surprised us with coffee, fruit, home squeezed lemonade and assistance with drivers or directions as well. We were well taken care of and would absolutely choose this property again. Highly recommend.

A day in the life!

Wake up to fresh coffee, exotic fruit, and warm arepas. Walk outside your door and immediately find yourself immerse in the history and culture of Cartagena. Spend the day walking the city and its famous walls. Grab a delicious ceviche lunch at La Cevecheria. Take a break and drink a cold beer on one of several shady plazas. Explore a historic church, return to your apartment and cool off in your roof top pool while parrots keep you company. Prepare a mojito at your wet bar and sip it on the deck while watching the sun set over the cathedral. Enjoy a wonderful dinner prepared by the beautiful and friendly chef. Head out to catch some live music at the Café Havana. Finish your day by curling up in your comfy bed. That pretty much describes a day-in-the-life at Greg’s apartment in old town Cartagena. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to everyone. Check out Greg’s photo albums!

You'll want to return the moment you leave!

Given the high praise already shared in previous reviews, it's hard to find new accolades to describe how wonderful it was to enjoy Centro Cartagena with this as our home base. From the moment of our first inquiry, when Greg communicated so promptly and clearly, through our communication with Franny, who arranged our transportation, to our last hug goodbye with Jorge as he helped us load our bags into our departing taxi, we couldn't have asked for a more warm and welcoming "human" experience. Our group consisted of me, my significant other, and my two teenage children -- for which this home was the ideal setup. As the photos and reviews accurately attest, the home is grand and well appointed, and the location ideal. What we loved most was the oasis of restful calm it provided from the hustle, bustle, heat and noise of lively (and spectacular) Cartagena. If was steps away, yet a world apart. Perhaps the highest praise we could offer is that by the end of the week it felt like home -- our place -- our neighborhood. All of this aside, what we will remember most from this stay was the kindness and care of Jorge and Osi. They had the magical ability to be there when we needed them, yet never intrusive when we wanted to be alone. Cannot recommend enough that you arrange for them to prepare breakfast each day -- the time we had together each morning to connect and chat was a delight for me as the father of teenagers who converse reluctantly on any normal day. You'll love Cartagena, you'll love this home, and like us, you'll dream of your next visit.
