A charming vacation home that truly “exudes” a vacation atmosphere. The house is 72 m² and has 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two bunk beds (90 x 200). The cottage is well-suited for 4 adults and 1 child. It was renovated in 2021, with care taken to preserve the original style. There’s a lovely, large covered terrace measuring 45 m2, which is the perfect place to relax. Part of the garden is completely enclosed, so you have everything you need for some wonderful days close to the fjord. The house is located right next to Østerstrand, which features a swimming beach and a swimming pier. It’s close to the park in Nykøbing and a lovely playground. It’s within walking distance of downtown, where the lovely pedestrian street connects the town to the harbor, which is bustling all summer long. <br>Here, every evening during the season, you can watch the sun set at 9:00 p.m. at the marina. <br>Dueholm Kloster, the local history museum, tells the story of the people of Morsø and also hosts various special exhibitions throughout the year. The town is also home to the Danish Foundry Museum, which displays the old Morsø wood-burning stoves and cookstoves. Morsø Golf Club also has its beautiful 18-hole course on the outskirts of town.<br>South of town lies the beautiful natural area of Legind Bjerge, which features marked hiking trails and mountain bike trails. It is also in this area that you’ll find Jesperhus Feriepark, offering activities for the whole family.<br>Internationally, Mors is known first and foremost for its massive moler cliffs, found on Nordmors. Hanklit (61 m) is probably the most famous moler cliff. Don’t miss out on a hike to the top to enjoy the magnificent view out over Thisted Bredning and across the rolling landscape. The highest point on the island is Salgjerhøj (89 m); from here, you have a 360-degree view of the entire island.<br>Ejerslev Harbor is a beautiful natural harbor with a lagoon that you can walk around. The lagoon is surrounded by moler cliffs, and here you’re welcome to try your luck as a fossil hunter. The café is open during the season. It is also on Nordmors that you’ll find the Fossil and Moler Museum, which tells 55 million years of history through the many finds made in the moler on Mors. The Skarregaard Agricultural Museum is also worth a visit, and here you’ll find a lovely nature playground as well.<br>The island offers enough to do to fill many days.
