Sobre esta propriedade
"La Peonia" Appartamento in Villa a Rocca di Papa con Giardino
La Peonia is an apartment in a villa in Rocca di Papa, a small village just a few kilometers from Rome, nestled in the greenery of the Castelli Romani Natural Park.
The villa features 4 apartments that can be rented together, accommodating a total of 23 guests (pricing for 16 to 23 guests is available upon request).
The apartment is spread over two floors (first and second floors—attic). On the first floor, there is a living room with a queen-size sofa bed, a kitchen-dining area, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a double sink. On the upper floor, accessed via a staircase from the living room, there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower.
Additional beds can be added.
Kitchen access, a kettle, washing machine, dishwasher, television, video intercom, electric gate, and free Wi-Fi.
Independent natural gas heating.
There is a garden and parking available for one car.
Upon request, a transfer service with a driver (by car or van) is available to take guests directly from the airport gate to the front of the apartment.
The temperature stays cool in the summer, so there’s no need for air conditioning; firewood for the fireplace is provided.
Heating, available from October 1 through April 30, is charged based on usage: €1.59 per cubic meter of gas. A €150 utility security deposit (for winter months) is required and must be paid in cash. It will be refunded at checkout after the heating bill has been paid.
Arrivals must take place by 7 p.m. Check-in is not possible after this time.
The famous “Via Sacra” begins in Rocca di Papa, climbing to the summit of Mount Cavo along ancient paths of volcanic rock nestled among centuries-old chestnut groves, leading to the site where the Temple of Jupiter once stood. You can also go biking in the woods.
Very close by is Lake Albano, which is also overlooked by Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence. On the lake, in Castel Gandolfo, there are also beach resorts and public beaches. Another nearby lake is Lake Nemi, a town famous for its museum housing the remains of Roman ships and for its strawberry festival in the spring. Also in the Castelli Romani area are Frascati and Ariccia, famous for their “fraschette” serving local specialties such as porchetta, cold cuts, dairy products, and the renowned Castelli Romani wine. A truly unique stop you won’t want to miss, just three kilometers from the property, is the “uphill/downhill” road where, incredibly, “you go uphill when going downhill and downhill when going uphill.”
For fun-filled family vacations, Zoomarine (a water amusement park) and Rainbow Magicland (a magical, fairy-tale-themed amusement park) are both 30 km away, and for shopping, the Valmontone Outlet is also 30 km away.
