The apartment is in a great location & is spacious. It was handy having a supermarket downstairs & being close to transportation. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious, well-located apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. We used the washer which is a huge asset on a long trip. Karen was an excellent contact person giving prompt, clear instructions. We were not aware at initial booking that this is run by a property management company and were annoyed by the extra hoops to jump through and fees to pay. Other than that we were happy with this apartment.

Place was immaculate and clean. Exactley as advertised.hot water was toooo hot, be very careful.supermarket one side, pub on other side, what more could a fellow want!!

Quite central and easy to find. It was right at the end of Princes Street. transport links were good. Shops and restaurants were close by. Spacious, clean and comfortable stay. Shame there was no welcome pack to help us settle in, eg local Scottish treats etc, but thats only a minor gripe

Great location. Easy walking distance to all of Edinburgh and Princess street. Amazing apartment with lots of space, open and airy. We would stay here again.

Overall the apartment was great! Location is wonderful and you are literally over a grocery store it doesn’t get more convenient! There’s a pub on the other side of the door and you have a drugstore and convenience stores all in the same area! Our arrival directions were the best ever which included pics and videos on how to enter the apartment. There is one flight of stairs you immediately go up - it’s a big flight of stairs! But it was doable and we are seniors. The apartment is a huge size and has everything you need. The bed is comfy and bedding very nice. We travel lots, and my number one I look for is a washer and a dryer as we travel for over a month. I was disappointed when I arrived and it was a washer/dryer combo which is quite common but usually a pain to use. Well this time was no different. I washed the same load 4 times and the dryer never did work. Usually in a rental you get a manual on how to use things in the home, this time there was nothing. I finally found a binder with appliance manuals in it only to find the manual for the washing machine was a different machine than the one installed and of no use to anyone. I tried googling the manual by going by the washing machine model number I found in the door but could not get the dryer to work. I wasn’t very happy considering. The heat was also not cooperating and at night it was pretty chilly despite turning the thermostat up, heat was random. We left a garbage bag as we had no idea where to take it to?

We agree that washer-dryer combos can sometimes be tricky to use and we’ll be reviewing this following your comments. We’re also updating the appliance manual and have added clearer rubbish disposal instructions to our guest information. We’re sorry to hear the heating wasn’t quite right during your stay; had we known, we would have been happy to help you get it sorted. We hope that, despite these hiccups, you all had a lovely time in Edinburgh!

We enjoyed this fabulous location with easy access to the castle and shopping for launching our daughter at University in Scotland. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. The apartment was spacious and well appointed and we would love to visit again.

A perfect place to experience both old and new Edinburgh

Property location was amazing - in the heart of new city near the Train station and a very short walk to Old City. Flat was roomy and was in great shape and exactly how it was advertised.

Great location

This was a beautiful apartment with only one flight of stairs. Close the the conference center, sites and many restaurants. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy Edinburg.

Lovely apartment in the perfect location

This one-bedroom apartment was ideal for the two of us and its location was perfect: there is a grocery store steps away, great access to bus-lines, walkable to almost every where we wanted to go. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay

It was a nice surprise that the apartment is actually larger than the pictures portrayed. It’s very spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! It was great to have a grocery store right next door. The property manager, Karen, was quick to respond and very pleasant.

Great apartment, fantastic location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, it was spacious, well equipped, clean and well laid out. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting to spend some quality time in Edinburgh. Any questions we had were answered promptly and the whole process was transparent and smooth. Highly recommended!

Spacious and comfortable

Nice property in a good location. Bright and very spacious. Had everything we could need. Was comfortable, and the host was great and made check in easy. Would stay again when in Edinburgh. Only note is on a busy street with the tram system, however the noise was not bad from our perspective.

The apartment is exactly as advertised, spacious, bright, very comfortable and in an excellent location. It's relatively close, about a 10 minute walk, to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. There is a grocery store very close by and many dining and pub options close by. City transit and the tram to the airport have stops right outside the front door. Communication with the property manager was prompt and friendly. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Edinburgh.

Outstanding Property in Edinburgh

Well-apointed and equipmed flat that was perfect for 2-week stay in Edinburgh. Location is short walk from Haymarket Station and central to every neighborhood that can be explored in Edinburgh (West End, Stockbridge, Dean Village, New Town, Old Town, Royal Mile, Tynecastle Park, Leith, etc.). Mere metres from grocery, coffe, pharmacy and pub too and 1 minute walk to nearest restaurants. Professionally managed property (they manage others too), outstanding communication and exceptional service. No hesitation in recommending this property and would defintely return.

First of all, I would say I would stay here again. There are several outstanding features. The rental agent was very helpful. First, the location. We stayed a month and wanted convenience, which we got. The flat is very close to several bus lines to get anywhere in the city. It is a 10-minute walk to Haymarket train station. Also, despite Shandwick Pl being busy, it was surprisingly quiet in our flat. We cooked at least one meal a day in the flat, and it was convenient to have a grocery next door. Now to the flat itself. It was very roomy. The shower was wonderful; the WiFi was without problem. The appliances worked (even though when we got there, the microwave didn't; but it was replaced quickly). There were a few quirks and trivial issues, but these were more apparent being there for a month. For shorter stays, I would think that they would not be issues. (As in most other short-term lets where I have stayed, the cooking knives were amazingly dull, but this was more amusing than problematic). One rack in the bathroom needed repair. Not all the shades worked to be pulled up or down; but these were in no way deal breakers. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay for our month.

Great Location!

A great location! Supermarket right next door to pick up our breakfast food and snacks. We did not rent a vehicle as we could walk to many of the popular areas of Edinburgh. The trams and buses were easily accessible for places not within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable too. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is to bring toilet paper. I wasn’t aware I needed to supply my own and for what was charged I would have expected it to be supplied. Overall a nice stay.

Fabulous stay but!

Fabulous property and location but had some issues, and was not as polished as the price demanded! Bedroom carpet was stained, poor quality ironing board, broken glass and chair and TV picture not available as Ariel not connected. Damage on fridge door front. On the positive side a Dishwasher and Washer Dryer. Couldn’t find details of heating.Location is perfect for an Edinburgh trip, trams and buss on your doorstep.
