Renovated estate w/ private pool 950m from the sea
Wonderful stone villa, completely renovated in 2021, with a large 40 sqm private swimming pool and private garden, entirely for your exclusive use.
The villa consists of two adjoining units, of which the main body can accommodate up to 5, the annex (in a characteristic trullo) up to 3 people.
In the main building there is a large living room, a well-equipped dining room with kitchen (gas stove, oven, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, as well as everything you need to prepare your own meals), two double bedrooms (one of which with sea view), two bathrooms with shower (one of which is en-suite in one of the bedrooms, the other accessible from the corridor). There is also a single sofa bed (approx 1.10m wide) in the living room.
The trullo consists of a living room with open kitchen (equipped with gas stove, oven, fridge with freezer) and a gallery in the top floor with double bed and access to the roof top terrace with sea view, as well as a bathroom with shower. There is a single sofa bed in the trullo as well.
The house is equipped with air conditioning with cold and heat function, and mosquito nets. There is a TV in the main unit.
The swimming pool, about 8x5 meters, is brand new (completed in May 2021) and is surrounded by a large terrace with sun loungers and a garden with olive trees.
The property is located in a quiet area of Santa Maria di Leuca, surrounded by greenery and some other villas, 950 meters from the sea (about 10-15 minutes on foot).
The closest beaches are Lido Azzurro (small sandy beach) and Samarinda (rocks). Several bars, restaurants, shops and the promenade are within walking distance. The beaches of the Ionian coast of Salento (including the famous Maldives of Salento) can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. In Leuca it is possible to rent boats, with or without skipper, or book a boat tour to visit the many sea caves in the area.
Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €26 per person.
Final cleaning is not included and costs €160, unless you clean yourselves before departure.
Pets are NOT allowed in this property.
We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €600 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.
Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was €0,44 on 10/01/2026, when this text was last updated. Prices may slightly change over time.

It was wonderful!
The exterior of the house is truly beautiful, with the pool and various outdoor seating areas perfect for enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The location is wonderfully peaceful, perched on a hill with lovely views. It's also only a 10 minute walk to the beach, which we found very pleasant.
There are three bedrooms, all of good size.
The garden is large with lovely olive and fig trees. However, much of it was unusable due to the unkempt lawn. Although not directly related to the house, during our stay in late September/early October we encountered many mosquitoes and biting flies which made it difficult to sit outside in the evenings.
Overall, while the location and outdoor spaces are lovely, the interior and amenities could use some improvement to enhance the overall experience. With a bit more attention to detail and flexibility, this place could be truly wonderful.

Was hoping for more
Description was luxury villa. It was not. Pool was nice but wrong time of year for us to use. Very little furniture inside. One sofa in main room. No comfortable chairs. All IKEA slightly cheap furnishings. Mattresses were old on one bed. Our stay was for 2 weeks - were looking forward to cooking. No knives that could cut through anything. No hot water in the outdoor house for first 6 days. Towels with holes given to us. Was not a homely feel at all. Wouldn't take much to make it a whole lot better.

Dear Karen, I’m sorry if you were expecting another type of villa. Our villa is not advertised as a luxury house but it is a very comfortable and lovely villa as you noticed :) Pictures and furniture are shown in the ad as they are in the house. Could you please let me know which mattress is old? We had only excellent reviews for this very loved villa, so it would be helpful for us to know if there is anything we can improve for our future guests. The kitchen is well equipped, and we’ll check the knives. There is an on/off switch for the hot water in the outbuilding. Hot water is provided and works properly. You are right about the towel, there was a hole in one of them, I’m sorry again for this and fortunately we brought you another towel immediately. Best wishes, Olivier & the WowHomes team

Belle villa sur les hauteurs de Leuca conforme à la description
Quartier calme, sûre, vue sur mer et sur le phare. Belle piscine, terrasse sur toit, près des oliviers, de la nature. A 15 minutes à pied du centre et de la promenade( lungomare)
Quelques petits détails pratiques: changer les files extérieurs pour pendre le linge , l'évacuation d'eau dans la douche du pajero n'est pas fluide et y changer le rideau de douche qui se fait vieux. Une machine à café standard et un presse fruit à disposition serait un plus. Ajouter 2 fauteuils individuels (ou 1 canape) dans le salon principal habillerait la pièce et permettrait de s'y reposer.

Vi var två st familjer med två barn var som bodde i huset i Leuca under april månad. Vi är väldigt nöjda och glada över vår vistelse i huset! Wow Homes är otroligt lätta och trevliga att kommunicera med och gjorde allt för att få oss att känna oss som hemma i huset och i Leuca. De gav oss även råd om öppettider samt lokala tips på aktiviteter då vi var där över påsken. I början av månaden var det lite kallt i trullon och då var de snabba med att komma med ett extra element till oss. Olivier och hans team är väldigt service minded och trevliga, kan verkligen rekommendera att hyra av dem!

Steinvilla in Leuca
Das Haus bietet viele Sitzmöglichkeiten im Aussenbereich, inkl. einer Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Bettwäsche und alle Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber. Auch die Abwicklung der Buchung, Übernahme und Abgabe des Hauses verlief reibungslos. Wir würden bei Bedarf wieder buchen.

Considerazioni post vacanza periodo dal 14.08. al 26.08.2021
Partendo dal presupposto che la perfezione assoluta non è di questo mondo, devo dire, a nome di tutti i partecipanti alla vacanza, che la struttura dove abbiamo alloggiato, ci ha completamente soddisfatti.
La biancheria a noleggio, non è in linea con la qualità dell’alloggio da Voi offerto. Federe dei cuscini vecchie e rotte, teli doccia di dimensioni mignon, per non parlare di quelli per le mani e per il bidet, stessa dimensione (ovviamente dimensione di quelli del bidet)
Wi-fi, questo sconosciuto. Non potete pubblicizzare che nell’alloggio ci sia l’utilizzo del wi-fi, quando poi ciò non corrisponde al vero. Esiste un modem, ma se la velocità massima di connessione è di appena 0,36/86 Mbit/s, forse sarebbe più opportuno non pubblicizzare questo servizio inesistente
Ultimo suggerimento, se l’alloggio può ospitare fino ad 8 persone, perché allora la villa dispone di soli 4 lettini prendisole? Gli altri ospiti, son da considerarsi figli di un Dio minore?
