La Cordee 221 Penthouse is a luxurious 3/4 bedroom apartment in Chamonix's newest and chicest development, with flexible sleeping arrangements for 6-8 people. It is perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a luxury apartment with access to amazing facilities. Residence La Cordee hosts a range of great amenities on site which includes a heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, fitness room, games room and a climbing room. The wellness facilities are open every day from 10:00 to 21:00.
This luxury holiday residence is located in the highly sought-after Plaine des Praz area of Chamonix valley, close to the Flegere Cable car, where you can access the Brévent/Flegere ski area without queues. This luxury penthouse has a large open plan living area with 2 sofas, a very sociable square dining table with 8 chairs overlooking the mountains with its double height windows. There is also a TV room with a 75 inch TV and large sofa for cosy movie nights, which can also be used as fourth bedroom with the double sofa bed. There are large patio doors onto a balcony with views over Les Drus. The modern smart well-equipped kitchen comes with a full-sized oven, dishwasher and coffee machine.
Upstairs, the master suite comes with a super king-sized double bed, walk-in wardrobe and the ensuite has double sinks and a large italian shower. The second bedroom upstairs can be made up as a twin or double and there is a private bathroom. Downstairs, the third bedroom can be made up as a twin or double and there is a separate family bathroom for the third and fourth bedroom (TV / sofa bed). There is free fibre internet, a washing machine and tumble dryer and underground parking. The apartment is ideally located on the second floor, although there is no elevator.

The close by bus stop is great also to reach all ski areas that the Valley offers in winter.

Excellent stay
We really enjoyed our stay at La Cordee penthouse. The apartment is beautiful, is decorated wonderfully and has a splendid view on the mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and stylish.

Great penthouse, superb views, tranquil location
We stayed in the summer and this was an ideal location to explore Chamonix and the mountains. The area is super quiet as it's only chalets and residences, and the views up to the mountains are wonderful with enormous windows. The house is very well equipped, there's a washer and dryer in the unit (yay) and there's plenty of space and storage. Chamonix and Las Praz centre are only a short walk away but it feels like you're well out of the bustle. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay
Everything was perfect: the appartement is very well equipped with high quality furniture. We love the view from most of the rooms.
There is no shop in the immediate surroundings, except a very food restaurant (8 mins walk).

Great stay!
We had a great stay at La Cordee! The unit was extremely clean, well equipped, and beautiful. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful with planning activities to do in Chamonix. I only wish that coffee and maybe water and a snack was provided upon check in. We had just arrived after 15 hours of travel and had to rush out to the grocery store for water. Other than that our stay was 10/10, and I would recommend wholeheartedly!

Excellent property
Clean and very comfortable. Well equipped. The cinema room was great, along with the dining room which was very social. The amenities were also excellent. The pool and table football were valuable assets to our stay.
It would’ve been beneficial to know that there is no lift as one of our family members struggles to walk/ climb stairs and we were on the top floor.
Larger towels, bin bags and dishcloths would’ve been a bonus.

Good property
This was not our choice but a replacement, as, due to technical problems, the challet we rented was not available. Nice property, comfortable and modern. Beautiful mountain view. Location not so good with 20 minutes walk to lifts and 30 to town. Cooktop and pans not well suited for preparing meals for 8 adults! Too small and not enough options. Coffee machine was not working and was in unacceptable conditions, including presence of mold inside!

I'm glad that you enjoyed your overall stay despite the move when the heating broke at the chalet you had booked. Thank you for the feedback about the cookware, we will review this and make sure that there is plenty for 8 people. Although there was a problem with the coffee machine I am glad that we swiftly managed to bring you a replacement machine for the duration of your stay. All good except for one aspect. See below
The only real negative issue is that my car cannot go in the garage because of the ski box on the roof and not enough space in parking lots above ground. I parked my car in the street and saw no obvious sign that was not allowed. Next day somebody made a big scratch all over the left side of my car. I have not reported with police because only spoils my holiday. Nothing you or the owners can help and I don't blame you at all but clearly you have some hyper aggressive neighbours or local hooligans. By the way my car was not the only target. there were a number of others across different nights.

La Cordee in Chamonix
Chamonix is a wonderful town for a winter or summer holiday in the mountains.
La Cordee is a supper little development, well located in the centre of the valley, close to ski lifts, the spa, tennis, golf and the restaurants and shops of the town centre. It has a nice sauna, stream, jacuzzi, dip pool, gym area for residents.
Chamonix All Year is an excellent organiser of trips to Chamonix and to La Cordee, keeping the self catering accommodation in top condition.
We will be back.

We will be back
Perfect holiday home, well furnished and with style. Kitchen could do with a few extra items but all the basics are there for self catering. Common facilities at the residence are extremely clean and well tended too - of superior quality than in other similar establishments I have been to. Management of the property was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We will be back.
