BEAUTIFUL New Modern LOG HOME! Catawba Island OH 1mile to Miller Ferry -islands.

This Beautiful Log home, sits on 1 acre. Peaceful and quite, yet walking distance to Catawba State Park, Gem Beach, restaurants, bars, golf, Miller Ferry to Put n Bay and other Lake Erie Islands. Cedar Point is a 30 minute drive.
Great Boating, fishing, golfing, swimming on beautiful Catawba Island. 2 fire pits, one is gas. Large deck in back and in front as well. One and half stories with master bedroom/bath up spiral stairs with balcony looking below, and also top balcony outside off of the master bedroom, with beautiful view of woods and folage.
The Great room is 26 foot vaulted ceiling with beautiful large windows, and beautiful large stone fireplace (gas). Has huge comfy sectional sofa, large TV, internet. The kitchen is fully furnished! Just bring your favorite food! 2 more bedrooms down stairs, with lofts.
Laundry room with washer/dryer, and bathroom downstairs.
The home is cooled with large ceiling fans throughout the home. There is no AC. There is a portable AC unit upstairs use only during sleeping hours. Additional charges will be applied if used during the day. There is a shed outback with beach chairs, tables, chairs, umbrella for your use.
****Propane for grill & deck fire pit, can be filled at Bassetts hardware store.
****No boats allowed on property. ****additional fees for all adults in total.
**** Magnetic screen on back door. Just pull across and hit magnet.

Absolutely amazing home cabin vibe very peaceful totally worth the price in the host is absolutely amazing. Was available at any hour of the day. Nice neighbors very clean environment highly recommendable and will be returning.

Beautiful and Quiet

Our family truly enjoyed staying at this beautiful property! It's off the beaten path and not in the hustle and bustle, but nearby attractions are easily accessible. It was clean and homey...just what we needed for a quick escape!

Amazing Island Stay

My friends and I stayed here for a wedding on Catawba Island and had an amazing time. The location to everything on the island was perfect. The house itself was also perfect for hanging out in between events and playing yard games in the back!!

Perfect Stay!

We have stayed in this lovely log home twice and have found it to be perfect! It’s always spotless and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need.Carol has been helpful to work with! She answers inquiries promptly. The location is perfect to catch a ferry to Put-in-bay and is a 5 minute drive to NE port marina.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! It was spacious, clean and very well equipped to handle all of our needs. Beautiful property that had ample play area and was close to most everything. We would definitely choose this house again when back in this area!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

We were here one week, and were close to everything we wanted to see and do. We went to South Bass, Marblehead, the State Parks, and more. Then we came home to a peaceful place, and relaxed. Great Vacation!

Fishing Lodging

We had a great stay at this beautiful log home! It was a wonderful location for our fishing charter with two other couples. The home was very comfortable and plenty spacious for cooking a meal together, relaxing together in the great room and bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds Fun and delicious restaurants nearby, the Orchard farmstand is within walking distance! We’d definitely stay again

Excellent Property for This Area

All as stated in listing and cleanliness was very refreshing. Owner very receptive to questions and assistance with places to eat and gave me the great idea of getting an ice cream cake for a BD. Would stay again.

Beautiful home on a great property

Perfect for our family, great location convenient to markets, restaurants and bars and the ferry. Twin Oast, Rudders and the Market are all great vibes. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was very accessible and helpful. Got a little stuffy at times without AC but the fans generally did the job.

Great stay!

Great property! It was beautiful and had everything you needed! AC unit in main bedroom was great kids had multiple fans. it was a bit hot but cooled off most nights. I had to fill the propane tank as no propane was left between grill and the fire pit : the only inconvenience. Would def stay again!

Awesome getaway close to home

Our family and my brother in laws family stayed here (4 adults, 4 kids under 3) and had plenty of space! Super clean and great quiet location. We were skeptical of no AC but it really wasn’t a problem at all! If you are considering staying here- we recommend! Our only complaint is the spiral staircase was not super functional for us.

Great place to stay.

the house was clean and well equipped, we were worried about the fact there is no AC but there are plenty of fans for air circulation and the evenings were pretty nice and keeping cool was not a problem. The back patio was a great place to sit and relax by the gas fire pit and do some grilling. Great Place Roger

Great location!

This property is SO nicely located for seeing all of the Lake Erie Islands, then returning “home” to relax on the back deck. Our stay was during the extreme heat wave hitting the Midwest & having multiple days with temps over 85 and “feels like temps” over 90 really made us long for AC. However, we learned to visit the shoreline or islands for breezes these days and by evening the temps were bearable.

I have been on Catawba Island for 28 years and raised my family here. We absolutely Love it here!!
There was a small cottage on this property, in which was torn down and I built this modern log home in 2006.
So much to do year round, but of course our favorite time of the year here is summertime! Lots of fun, food, music, boating, fishing, swimming, activities for all! All within walking distance and very short drives.

IAs a little girl, I always traveled up here with my Dad and his work. I just loved Catawba Island, and promised myself I would live here one day!
My children and I always felt we had the best of both worlds here. Off the beaten path, yet everything within walking distance and or short drives. The property is surrounded by woods, front and back, yet we walked to the beach every single day! We also sailed here for 15 years. Fantastic memories!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It's cozy quiet, yet if you want busy, you can get that too!
The Catawba Island Sunsets are fantastic! We normally walk, bike or drive to the CIC State Park to watch!
At the end of the Island is the Miller Ferry Boat, which goes to Put-n-Bay, and or South Bass, and to Middle Bass as well. It's a beautiful, short. 15 minute ride. You can take bicycles, golf carts, motorcycles, and your cars over on the Ferry as well. Put-N-Bay is a fun Island with so much to do!
Relax when your back from a long, fun day, in the back yard. Grill up some good food, and relax!
