The Finca is only 7 minutes distant from La Orotava, one of the most beautifull towns of the island. Its historical Old Town was 1976 declared as an important cultural heritage.
The house itself in characteristical Canarian style, built of wood and stone, and with its inside-area of 140 m2, it has been recently renovated. A comfortable large living room with fire-place, 3 bedrooms (one with double bed, one with 2 single beds, one with single bed), a capacious bathroom with bath tub and integrated hydromassage, a second bathroom with shower, and a well equipped kitchen with: washing mashine, stove, oven, microwave, fruitsqueezer etc. complete the inviting building.
Outside there are 2 barbeques, one made of stone, and a mobile one.
You have wonderfull, unique sights from 3 well furnished terraces, both to the Atlantic ocean and to the mountains.

Lovely property in unspoilt surroundings

Beautiful finca with log fire and large sitting/dining room, Lovelygardens and large and clean swimming pool. One side of the property is faced by unspoilt hills and woodland, Great relaxing stay. Good for Tenerife birds.

Tenerife’s best kept secret. Idyllic privacy in the Teide national park. Excellent communication from Santiago re check in and meeting us in town to show the way to the property. Smooth check in process. Property had lots of lovely oranges and fresh fruit from the grounds of the property to make fresh juices with. Well stocked kitchen to allow for self catering. Pool was amazingly beautiful and surrounded by lemon and organge trees. The water in October was fresh but not too cold to swim in. Minor negatives - barking dogs (it exposes due to the valley but you soon get used to them)

Beauty of Rural Tenerife

If you want to enjoy Tenerife but away from the crowds and clubs, then this is the place to go. Traditional farm house in the midst of orange, lemon, avocado trees with views of the sea and the volcano El Tiende! Excellent centre for visiting the north facing coast and also the Volcano ~(a trip not to be missed!) Our host could not have been more attentive and helpful. We hope to go again.

We had a lovely time. You do need a car and I would advise getting there before dark as it is down a track. The owner is very accommodating and will meet you to direct, which is most helpful.

Beautiful property with lovely gardens and orange, lemon and lime trees surrounding the excellent sized pool. Amazing views down to the sea. The property had everything we could have wished for. Fresh orange juice in the morning was a bonus!

Grand villa in the hills

Great large property nestled in a local village. Close enough to walk for morning coffee or local restaurant meals (6-15minute walk with hill). Well equipped. Extremely comfy beds. Jacuzzi bath was a nice surprise along with the tasteful traditional decor and huge fire. Much reccomended!

Exceptional property

If you are looking for all mod-cons and in a busy area, this is not the property for you. However, if you're looking for a traditional Spanish finca in a quiet area, this is ideal. We loved being able to escape from it all, lovely pool and, although the roads are steep, we easily found our way around and visited some exceptional local areas. Great recommendations from our hosts who were checking in regularly. Could not have asked for more.

A marvelous place to see

Our stay was delightful. The house is in the middle of avocados, oranges et lemons trees, the pool is big and surrounded by beautiful mountains. We went there at the end of April, and the foggy top of the mountains was very nice. The house is close to a kind of dogs house. At the beginning we wondered how would it be, and finally it was ok. The owner is very nice and cared a lot about our pleasure. Thanks again!

Rural stay in a traditional finca

We spent 3 weeks in January here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The finca is a traditional stone building set on a small farmholding surrounded by lemon and orange trees, backed by the mountains and with a view of the sea. There is a large grassed area by the house with a big swimming pool (unheated - a bit chilly to use in January) but has sun loungers beside it which we did use. There are two patios which catch the sun in the morning once the sun is up over the mountains. The house was well equipped and Santiago and Carlos (who own it) and their very helpful employee, Ferdinand, made sure we always had plenty of firewood for the fire and oranges for the juicer. They were very attentive and checked regularly that we had everything we needed as well as giving us lots of information about the area and places to eat, walk etc. The house is stone-built to resist the hot summers so in January was chilly inside at times but this was not a problem as there were heaters and the fire to keep the place warm. The sitting room has comfy sofas around the fire so it felt cosy in the evenings. You do have to be a fairly confident driver as the roads up through the village (La Florida) and the private track up to the house are very steep but we just had a Fiat Panda for the two of us and it did a great job of getting us up the hills. There are a couple of local restaurants and cafes a ½ hour walk away down in the village or plenty to choose from in L’Oratova and Puerto de la Cruz.

Stunning secluded scenery on a orange, lemon and avocado farm

We stayed at this charming Finca from 2nd to 16th April 22. Our first time in Tenerife. This Finca is very secluded and set in an amazing valley surrounded by stunning mountains, looking down at the ocean and Puerto del a Cruz. The Finca comes with a very private, large clean and well maintained swimming pool, with comfortable pool loungers and although unheated, was thoroughly enjoyed. The Finca itself was very characterful. The living area was large but very cosy, complemented by a large fireplace and was kept well stocked with wood. We used the fire every night, it got chilly at this time of year. Kitchen and bathrooms could probably do with updating but were clean and had everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable which is always a bonus. The roof terrace got the early morning sun and had stunning mountain views and views of the ocean. The scent from the oranges that we could pick and juice for breakfast was wonderful. The drive up initially isn't easy and not what you would expect but you quickly get used to it. The Finca is on a farm and nestled into the local community which does come with surrounding local noises, cockerels, dogs...early morning and late afternoon, but is generally a part of living in the country and didn't bother us at all. We would recommend taking games, and playing cards and English books as there were non in the property. We would also recommend bringing a fire stick or android stick ...WiFi is good but nothing available on TV...use these to gain access to your usual movies should you want to watch them of an evening. Perfect place for walking and easy access to La Oratava, Puerto De a Cruz and mount Teide. Great hospitality and owners very attentive to our needs. Thankyou, The Hunter family

Authentieke finca. Prachtige tuin met sinaasappel- en citroenbomen. In alle rust. De weg er naartoe is steil en met veel bochten, maar is te doen. De eigenaar heeft ons de eerste keer opgevangen in de plaats en ons er naartoe geleid en dat was ook echt nodig.Groot zwembad in de tuin. Sfeervol huis!

La maison est conforme à l’annonce. Elle est un peu rustique, mais très confortable.Le gérant est très sympathique et disponible. L’environnement est agréable et le jardin magnifique. Cependant je pense qu’il faut prévenir les familles qu’il y a à côté de la maison beaucoup de chiens qui aboient continuellement. Le propriétaire est conscient du problème et essaye d’y remédier. J’espère que tout rentrera dans l’ordre rapidement. Toute la région autour est propice aux balades, les villages sont magnifiques.

Sfeervol landhuis op bijzonder mooie plek

We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad in dit sfeervol ingerichte landhuis omgeven door fruitbomen. Vanuit het huis hebben we het noordelijke deel van het schittterende eiland verkend. Tip: Neem een warme trui mee want het kan er fris zijn.

Abgelegene, wunderschöne Fonca

Ruhig gelegen (außer Hunde und Hähne, die jenseits der Mauer zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit von sich hören lassen), eine schöne und geräumige Finca. Auto zwingend erforderlich, weder Restaurants noch Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Im Februar war es im Haus sehr frisch, Kaminfeuer und Fleecejacke waren abends definitiv nötig

traumhafter Rückzugsort im Orotavatal

Wir haben zwei Wochen im August gebucht und den Aufenthalt auf der Finca sehr genossen. Die Vermieterfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool und der Ausblick in die Berge einfach wunderbar. Die Finca ist stilvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alle angegebenen Einrichtungsmerkmale. Séjour exceptionnel

La propriété est située en hauteur dans un canyon au milieu de vergers avocats, orangers, de fleurs . La grande piscine est cachée au milieu de végétation avec chauses longues. La vue est fantastique de tous les cotés. La maison est charmante chaulee avec des poutres et meubles en bois. Un salon cosy , 3 terrasses, un roof top, une cuisine bien équipée, chambres cosy avec literie correcte. Nous y avons passé 6 jours merveilleux, proche de Orotava et Puerto Cruz,villes complementaires très sympathique. Que du plaisir!

Urlaub im Orangenhain

Rustikale Finca in ländlicher Umgebung am Hang, kurzer Weg von und nach La Orotava, der auf der steilen Zufahrt etwas „fahrerisches Können“ voraussetzt 😉. Die Finca liegt in einem riesigen, mit Orangenbäumen, Avocadosträuchern und vielen verschiedenen Blumen bewachsenen Grundstück und verfügt über einen schönen großen Pool, der sich im gepflegten Garten befindet. Das Haus selbst hat „rustikalen Charme“ und ist landestypisch und funktionell eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Von der Dachterrasse aus hat man einen Blick über das Tal bis zum Meer. Hunde- und Hühnerhaltung im Nachbargrundstück verursachen durchaus Geräusche, haben uns aber nicht allzu sehr beeinträchtigt. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber Carlos und Santiago, die uns herzlich empfangen und mit vielen nützlichen Tipps versorgt haben. Die in der Finca vorhandenen Reiseführer sind aktuell und bieten hilfreiche Informationen für Ausflüge auf Teneriffa.

Lovely stay

We had a great time staying at this Finca. The hosts could not have been more helpful - we had an issue with the hot water which they fixed quickly and the property was clean and well equipped. We got a little chilly as the weather wasn't great, so i'd recommend bringing a few extra layers in the cooler months. They were extremely friendly and brought us fresh avocados from the farm, and we regularly picked oranges and lemons for our breakfast. Our daughter (2.5yrs) loved playing outside and on the roof. The swimming pool was too cold for us to use regularly (it is not heated) but it was still a sun trap so we spent time sitting by it in the evenings. We hired a 4X4 because other reviews suggested it was necessary - the roads nearby are very good quality but some very steep so i would recommend this. Around 15 mins drive to La Orotava (plenty to do and see and lovely restaurants) and 25 to Puerto de la Cruz (lots of beaches and restaurants). We would happily return to the finca, many thanks for having us.

Gelungener Teneriffaaufenthalt

Die Lage in La Orotava war für uns optimal, da wir die Insel erkunden wollten. Die Zeit vom 4.12.2021 bis 26.02.2022 verging im Flug. 3 Monate haben wir die Finca genossen. Der Vermieter war immer für uns ansprechbar, genauso wie Maria die Reinigungskraft und Fernando der Plantagenarbeiter und Haustechniker. Gab es ein Problem wurde dies sofort behoben. Insgesamt für uns drei wunderbare Monate.
