Great location

Property is a bit ‘tired’ but there is plenty of space and we tend to be out mostly.

Newlyn Views

Excellent views of Newlyn Bay. Property was well maintained, accurately described and set in a quiet cul-de-sac. Would stay here again.

Hello, all was good. Only had issue with toaster and kettle as they looked old and worn and bits coming from kettle when water was boiled.

The house was reasonably clean. The view is fantastic and we were lucky enough with the weather to be able to make use of the balcony. Wifi reception was good but we couldn’t get to grips with the tv for which there were no instructions. Kitchen equipment, crockery and glassware would be inadequate for the eight people that the house is supposed to cater for. There were only five of us and we ate out most days so this didn’t bother us. However the overwhelming problem was that there is obviously a drainage problem. Both bathrooms smell of drains especially the middle floor shower. The jacuzzi bath didn’t work and if you filled the water higher than the jacuzzi holes then black scum came out. The basement shower takes an age to drain away and the toilet seat is faulty.

Excellent location.

Lovely house, well stocked with kitchen equipment. Nice quiet area, short walk to local shops, pubs & restaurants. Walking up the hill on way back a bit daunting for us unfit oldies.

Hello Bruce. Thank you for your review, I am glad you made good use of the lovely area despite the hill! If you are ever here again there is a bus heading up there every 30 minutes or so I believe that you can always hop on if needed. Thanks again!

Our stay was for 10 … 6 adults and 4 children. The property is very well appointed and comfortable, with all the facilities needed for such a group.

Good location but some problems

Good location. Clean. Very spacious. Some housekeeping issues: The shower head falls off, the wash basin tap swivels, the toaster tripped the electricity, the freezer box leaks into the fridge, cooker has no indication on knobs which plate is which knob. .

Great Accommodation Let Down By Cleaner/Caretaker

The accommodation and layout in this property were ideal for our extended family (6 adults, 2 children). The children were especially pleased with the bunk beds/toys/books supplied. Some thought had been put in here. Unfortunately the owners have been let down by their cleaner and/or caretaker and I had to feedback to the property manager on a number of niggles e.g. missing light bulbs; not enough wine goblets; dust under the bed where a vacuum cleaner had clearly not been used for some time. Communication with the property manager was good and hopefully the caretaker and cleaner will be on their toes for the next guests!

The house was clean and tidy and check in was easy.There was plenty of space for our party of 5 adults and 1 toddler. High chair, travel cot and stair gate are provided. There were 2 fridges with a small freezer compartment in each. There was a seagull nesting above the dormer kitchen window with 2 fluffy chicks which was interesting for our granddaughter to see! The view from the balcony was wonderful, right across the bay to St Michael's Mount. Excellent takeaway from Lewis's fish and chip shop in Newlyn! The king size beds were very comfortable and the bath in the main bathroom was a spa bath, which we used whilst there, which was relaxing. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. Thank you

Amazing short break with Beautiful views

We were so happy with the property, it was a straight forward check in and check out process. We will definitely be back again in the summer. Our only advise is avoid travelling at night due to road closures on A30 and M5.
