This property was everything we hoped for and more. The views were outstanding and communication with Rosie made the trip a joy. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Hope we have an opportunity to visit again. Would only book at the Lookout! Cheers!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in the Lookout. It was immaculately clean, the beds were all so comfortable, we loved the location. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Lookout. It is in a great location. Easy to drive to with good parking. It was a very comfortable place to stay and the views were fantastic. The house was very well equipped.It was also very easy to walk to the center of St.Ives and Portminster Beach. We had a lovely breakfast at the Cornish Deli and dinners at the Portminster Beach Cafe and Ardor. Lunch at the Tinners Arms before hiking back to St.Ives is well worth it.I would certainly recommend it to my friends to stay there.

Our stay at “The Lookout”was truly memorable. The house was immaculate and had every possible convenience - a true “home away from home”. Our host Rosie was so friendly and an excellent communicator. She even checked in the next morning to see we were settled in and if we needed any assistance. The setting was amazing with spectacular views over St Ives and the bay out to the Godvrey lighthouse. The house was beautifully styled too, decorated to reflect the beautiful Cornish seaside location. The availability of a bedroom with a walk in shower on the same level as the kitchen diner and the balcony was ideal for our circumstances, as one of our group has mobility difficulties. One great tip from Rosie was to use the local A1 taxi service to access various restaurants, galleries and the lower town and pier, as the streets were really challenging for driving - “best left to the locals!”BTW - a visit to the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Gallery is a must, as is a seafood dining experience at the Porthminster Beach Cafe. We felt privileged to stay in this beautiful Cornish coastal home. We would have loved a longer stay to read some of the wonderful books - such a rich, interesting and cultured collection. We highly recommend a stay at The Lookout for groups of 4 - 6 travellers.

Such a fantastic place, can’t recommend enough. Great location, about 10 minute stroll into the town. The ground floor bedroom was very handy for my elderly grandparents and the views are incredible. Thank you Rosie and Simon for a wonderful stay and for being such great hosts.

Great place to stay in St Ives

Excellent, well maintained property with amazing views and only a short walk from St Ives and its' lovely beaches. Definitely recommend.

Felt like Home

Brilliant location and a really clean and look after property. We went with in-laws, children and everyone else and within a day we were calling it home, can not recommend enough.

The Lookout is a beautiful property, set over three floors, it has stunning views of the sea, the golden sands of Carbis Bay and far beyond from every floor.The house is beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed in the top floor bedroom, just the place to watch the sun rise.With a large new kitchen on the ground floor, a lovely living room in which to relax on the first floor, and a garden overlooking the sea, it is just about perfect.All this, and just a short walk to the harbour and St Ives town centre.The property owner, Rosie, is a pleasure to deal with, and could not have been be more helpful.We would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing Stay!

This place was great! It was clean and spacious with a great view. The walk to town was only 10 minutes and 5 to the beach. It was the perfect place not only to explore St. Ives, but all of Cornwall.

Fantastic property

This property had everything you will need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Fantastic sea views and beautiful well thought out rooms and furnishings and all the little extras and complimentary additions make your stay very special.

Wonderful stay

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Lookout Point. The views from the property are beautiful and inside everything is just perfect. Everything you could ask for is provided and communication with the owner was so helpful and prompt. Lookout Point is beautifully decorated and it rates top marks for cleanliness.
