We had the best weekend in an amazing house set in a beautiful location. The house supplied us with everything we needed from a well equipped kitchen to plenty of towels for our many dips in the pool. Not forgetting the many things to keep us occupied table tennis, books, piano and many more even a place to chill and watch the boats sail by. Great communication from the hosts & lovely welcome treats. Would throughly recommend and hopefully we will be back next year.

We stayed here for our trip from the USA for Royal Ascot. House has lots of charm and plenty of space. The back yard is fantastic for enjoying the outdoors. Great views of the river, and the pool and hot tub are nice as well. Strongly recommend

Lovely stay in a beautiful location

We stayed with 3generations of family for a long weekend. The house has lots of character and had a lovely garden and pool that was well used by all the family . Someone was available whenever we needed to ask any questions. We would definitely stay there again .

Family fun

A charming place with Hansel & Gretel touches to the architecture. The swimming pool and hot tub were a hit with our four granddaughters, and their parents. Highly recommend a walk in and around the area, picking blackberries in the meadows and to Magna Carta lane. A cozy living room for the family to gather in.

Truly magical restful haven!

This property is a lovely combination of magical and historical beauty with the luxuries we love to have on vacation. The pool and hot tub were a delightful way to end the day, the double canopy and swing overlooking the Thames and regularly visiting swans was a perfect start to the day with a cup of coffee. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. We will absolutely be returning.Thank you

Wonderful in Old Windsor

We had an amazing stay at the Old Wharf Cottage in Windsor. The home is amazing and a wonderful location. We loved having the pool, bbq and area for croquet. It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK. LOVELY CHARACTER HOUSE ON THE THAMES

Booked 3 nights for my daughters 50th birthday. We fortunately had the sunniest and warmest days of the year, so the younger ones were able to use the heated pool and jacuzzi. House very well appointed and equipped. The gardens are large and the rear extends down to the Thames where there is seating to watch the boats go by. Due to the good weather, we decided to utilise the house and garden to the fullest, which meant that BBQ's and pizzas were the order of our evening meals. I can thoroughly recommend Old Wharf Cottage for a stay that combines an old character property with modern amenities

River living

This property is located in a very quiet neighborhood with a nice outdoor area along the river Thames. The house is very rustic as a Cottage should be. The beds are very comfortable, but at night we got a little hot. The property manager brought us some fans which helped a lot. Uber availability was very good and the average cost to go to Windsor Castle was about $16. We did not do a lot of cooking, but when we did, we sat outside . We went to the Georges steakhouse, which is about 3/4 of a mile away for some excellent meals. Overall, I would come back again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Old Cottage in Wraysbury on the Themes

Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. But that also adds to the charm. Things to note. One room has up and down steps to bathroom and a very narrow opening. We called it the Hobbit room. The on sight manager couple was so friendly and helpful! Such a bonus!! It is about a 15 minute drive to Windsor. We recommend you cook as the old kitchen is great and eat at George’s nearby. Enjoy!!
