Town: Middleton is a small village in Ryedale, situated between both the market towns of Kirkbymoorside and Pickering. The village is located close south of the North York Moors National Park, which means there are several walking and cycling routes nearby, including paths that wind through Dalby Forest. Pickering is conveniently located near the village and provides tours of Beck Isle Museum, investigations of Pickering Castle's ruins, and walks through Pickering Millennium Wood to visitors.
