Loved staying here! Our host was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The apartment was cute and clean! The neighborhood seemed pretty safe and there was plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

Fernando was so very welcoming and helpful! The accommodations were perfect! Very close the the metro rail for easy access to the sites, and the neighborhood is quiet and restaurants are easy walking distance. The balcony is a wonderful way to unwind from the busy day. Highly recommend for a home base to explore Rome!

The host met us at the flat and spent time to explain the details of the place as well as showing us a map of the city and transit system. Very clean and well-appointed with two air conditioners. The flat is very large by Italian standards and we loved the balcony for coffee in the morning and relaxing in the evening.

Perhaps this is the best home stay I have ever had. Booking is so easy with excellent communications. Arrival and greeting is extremely warm by the host himself. Location is brilliant, not far from centre and with its own beauty and conveniences. Very spacious and clean flat with everything I need. Natural light and fresh air are absolutely available. Can’t find extra words to be thankful.

Fernando is a fantastic host, with great communication throughout. We got into Rome on an early flight and he allowed us early access to the property to drop our luggage while it was being cleaned. This is a great location near the Metro station and away from the business of the heart of the city. Plenty of grocery options, a cafe, and places to pick up food or dine in near the apartment. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Fantastic apartment so close to the metro and only a few stops away from everything you want to see in Rome! Quaint Place

We were so happy with our location to the subway. We traveled each day to a different stop. Any questions we had were answered by Davide. We loved the local coffee shops and restaurants and felt very safe.

Great location

The apartment is in a great location, short walk to the Metro. Grocery stores, fruit and veggie stores literally 2-3 minute walk. Lots of restaurants close by. Fernando does the best check in I have ever had. Shares not only info about the apartment (which is spacious and lovely) , but also how to see everything in Rome. Highly recommend!

A great place to call home in Rome

Fernando was great. He communicated with me well ahead of time and gave me every detail I could think of. He spent time with us during check-in to explain the items in the apartment such as a/c and the roll up shades. He also warned us of pickpockets, explained how to get around and gave us recommendations for various local restaurants. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. A

My stay here was absolutely fantastic. The apartment's location was ideal, within walking distance of the subway, bus stations, park and grocery stores. It was impeccably clean, and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring Rome. Communication with the host was great, and they were always available to offer recommendations and assistance. Overall, my experience surpassed expectations, and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome. I felt here like I was a guest someone from family or friends.

Terrific Location-Attentive Owner

Our First trip to Rome and we couldn't be happier with the apartment. It was close to Metro for easy access to downtown Rome and all the sights, yet far removed from all the noise and crowds. Fernando arranged for a pick up for us at the airport and allowed us to check in early as we had an early arrival from the States. The apartment was a very clean and exactly what we expected from the website pictures. We liked the organic market a few blocks from the apartment. Would definitely stay here again

Perfectly located!

For a reasonable cost, Fernando's son in law, Andrea picked us up at the airport and then oriented us to the neighborhood and the apartment. The metro was wonderful for getting around & a week pass for bus, metro & tram was 24 Euros for one week. Perfect! We used it all everyday. The info, maps & travel guides at the apartment were also very helpful. The neighborhood was quiet at night for sleeping but lively & vibrant during the day. A true local neighborhood.

Grazie mille! Yes, Appio Latino is a true neighborhood and the apartment is very clean, well soundproofed, spacious, comfortable, well equipped in every room. Close to the metro (Line A) and major bus lines, ideally situated for visits and for the impregnation in Roman life. Supermarket, shops and several nice restaurants nearby. Great apartment close to everything

Location is in a great family neighborhood, not flooded with tourists but the Metro, fruit & vegetable stand, grocery store and bakery all within a 10 - 15 minute walk. Apartment came with a fully equipped kitchen. Elevator is small but we have no problem fitting both of us with backpacks and two medium sized luggage. Owner was great with communication. Best part is the big balcony that you could access from the living room kitchen and bedroom. Thanks so much Fernando!!!

A Great Experience

My husband and I had been in Europe for five weeks staying at VRBOs. Fernando’s apartment was the best! His son Davide met us and gave us a wealth of information. The apartment was immaculately clean and very well stocked. This apartment was situated away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy Rome but the Metro was few minutes walk making it easy to get to sights. We loved this apartment that made us feel we were a part of real Roman life. Will definitely stay on our return trip to Rome.

Roma, July 2019

Upon arrival at the airport we were greeted by a driver our host Fernando had organized. At the property Fernando himself was at the front door welcoming us and showing us the apartment. This apartment is exactly as advertised: super clean, spacious and functional. A big plus is the location so close to the Metro which runs every few minutes and took us to wherever we wanted to go in a very short time. There are plenty of shops and eateries close by as well. Superb place to stay near the center of Roma

This was our second visit to Roma and the first time we stayed at Fernando's place. We very much liked Roma in wintertime. Møre quite than in other parts of the year and we were lucky with the weather. Roma still is a very busy and exciting Metropolis and than it is very nice to arrive after a long day in this luxery and quite appartment in a typical Italian neighbourhood, close to the center. It offers all the things you need, including good beds and a Well equiped kitchen. The welcome was warm and personal. Fernando takes all the time to provide you with useful information about the neighbourhood, public transport and Rome in general. In short: we know where to stay at our next visit to Roma!

'Grazie mille' for your wonderful review. Thank you for highlighting the silence and tranquility of our apartment. In fact it is situated off a main road, in a quiet street with little traffic. In addition, the apartment is equipped with double-glazed windows. Thank you for highlighting the authentically Italian character of our neighborhood. 'Appio Latino' neighbourhood has plenty of supermarkets. Close to the apartment you will find every type of store (bakeries, delicatessens, fish markets, butchers, pastry shops, rotisseries, ice-cream stores, etc.) and a typical local market with fresh meat and fish, and above all locally produced fruit and vegetables. 'Appio Latino' is very close to the historical centre of Rome and thanks to the subway accessible on foot in only 1 or 2 minutes you can easily reach all of Rome’s tourist attractions, from the Colosseum (only 5 stops away, 10 minutes) to the Vatican City. WONDERFUL!!

We stayed at Angela and Fernando’s apartment for 4 nights during our recent stay in Rome. The apartment was perfect and spacious for a family of 6 adults. The apartment has all the amenities required to make you feel right at home. The apartment is just minutes away from a Metro station which made it very easy to get around Rome. Fernando arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport on the day of arrival and for a driver to drive us back on the day of departure. No car rental is required. The surrounding neighbourhood is very nice. Easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, pastry shops etc... Overall we had a wonderful stay, and would definitely stay here again when we return to Rome. A wonderful, relaxed, in-a-neighborhood apartment

Stay here!!! This is a beautiful apartment filled with everything a traveler would want — including love! The owners and their family are exceptionally helpful in every way, from offering airport pickup to providing detailed information on which nearby restaurants, stores and boutiques offer the best wares with the friendliest service. The apartment itself is in a truly local neighborhood — safe, family-filled, tree-lined, with bursting with small shops and eateries run by dedicated, caring people delighted to help out visitors. And while the apartment is nestled in its cozy, gracious world, it's less than a three minute stroll to a Metro stop that will take you to the center (or anywhere!) in Rome. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is complete, the living areas are well designed, the internet is fast, and security is simple and reassuringly robust. My wife and I stayed here four nights. We'll be back!

Best Apartment Ever!!!!

We were greeted by the owner's son on arrival outside the apartment even though we were late. He was very thorough in explaining all the amenities and how they functioned. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The apartment was VERY clean. There were two air conditioning units in each sleeping space. The WI-FI was very reliable. We found several pizza shops around and grocery store near-by. About a 5 min walk there was a gelato store that gave you more than your money's worth across from big park. At night, it was very quiet and we enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony. The metro line A is also very close. Clothes washer functioned well and there was a drying rack on the balcony. I can could live here full time! HIGHLY recommended!

A Home Away From Home!

This is the first VRBO my husband and I have ever booked and it did not disappoint! When we walked into this property, we felt at home. It looked exactly like it did in the posted pictures. We had everything we needed at our fingertips to enjoy our week in Rome. From the moment we booked our reservation, Fernando was communicating with us. Throughout the week, Fernando was a most gracious host. He made us feel like he was available should we need anything. We loved the location as we were not interested in staying the touristy areas of Rome. This was the perfect spot as it was about a block's walk to the Calli Albani metro stop. It did not take long to get to the popular tourist spots. The property felt spacious and we so enjoyed the large balcony with a lovely view. It was so nice to have free WiFi and also use our Netflix account on the TV. I hope we will have the opportunity to return to Rome because we will definitely stay here the next time. We highly recommend this charming and welcoming property. We were delighted because it was exactly what we were looking for!

Perfect location for getting about in Rome!

This apartments location is what drew us here and it couldn’t be anymore perfect. The Metro is sooo easy to navigate and after a long day of sightseeing, it was effortless to get home. The apt is very comfortable, very nice terrace and comfortable bed and bathroom. Aside from the apartment being everything we were looking for, we arrived a little earlier than expected and Fernando and his daughter met us at the apartment anyway. They we so kind, we had a small tour of the apt and they went over everything we needed to know about it. He gave us some suggestions to restaurants and shopping near the apartment in case we needed anything. Fernando gave me his cell phone # if we needed to reach him. I called him a couple times and he answered his phone every time. We stayed 5 days and then headed to Florence by train, and while on the train I realized I had left something very important back in the apartment. I called Fernando and he went over to retrieve it for me. We will circle back to Rome to depart for home and he is going out of his way to meet me to return it. He truly is a new friend in Rome,
