The Space:
Welcome to this 110 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Paseo de Gracia and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, the Eixample district. Barcelona’s historic city centre is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city. This residential neighborhood is great for families and provides easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
The apartment has been under another owners management, as new owner of the apartment I will make sure you have even a more memorable stay!
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 8 people distributed in:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 3: 2 individual beds
- Bedroom 4: 2 individual beds
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:
- Ideally located in the heart of the Golden Square of Eixample, and next to Diagonal and Paseo de Gracia avenues.
- AC (2 mini-split machines, one for each of the master bedrooms)

- Bed linens (and comforters during winter season) and bath towels (one shower towel per guest) will be provided!

The Neighborhood:
Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 4 & 5).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

This home was amazing!! It was very old and had the Spanish feel to it and it was very clean. We felt very safe walking around the neighborhood and the shops and coffee shops were great!! The host was very accommodating and communication was superb.

So many things wrong with this property….leaking toilets/ leaking washing machine/ stove usage unexplained/ air conditioning unplugged/ heaters unexplained and remained on/ lack of toilet rolls/ no dishwashing liquid. They had to call maintenance men for these issues. Position was great

Honestly horrible
A/c was a fan.
Bed was broken- sunk into the ground and had to sleep on a twin size bed with my fiancé.
Only had a sheet on the bed, no blanket provided.
1st shower had a broken shower head so had to hold it.
Second shower was small, water would randomly turn hot and cold, had to stand up straight, and unable to bend down.
FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. If you think you made it, KEEP GOING UP.
Loud neighbors below and above us.
Had to sit sideways on the toilet in the half-bath AND bedroom bathroom. Absolutely no room for legs.
Washer, but no dryer.
Busy and bad coffee next door.
Horrible experience. Will not recommend or be back.

We are sorry if the apartment has not met your expectations.
We wanted to specify that the apartment only has 2 mini splits that can be set in AC mode. Otherwise if you need we can offer fans.
All beds have full linen. Sheets + duvet
As you can see in the apartment listing, there is no dryer.
Also mention that there is an elevator in the building, if you want to take the stairs that's up to you!

The property although it had everything we needed was tired, and needs a freshen up in a few areas, it was clean enough though however some TLC would really help/ elevate the property as the property doesn’t look now nearly as fresh as the pictures would show.
The en-suite bathroom had no proper door so couldn’t be easily closed from inside as well as there being a space at the bottom of it, so not at all very private!
In the same bathroom the shower itself had no mechanism for holding the shower head, it had to be held constantly which was a pain, and should be fixed!
That shower also needed some decoration, all the paint on the tiles was peeling off, so looks very untidy, the bathroom generally needs a good once over/ clean up!
The rest of the areas where fine, again painting / freshen up required but facilities were provided as they were detailed.
