Debbie and Pat were A hosts. Property is great for groups. Everything you need is also just a short drive away, but the property is perfectly private.

Great weekend

Love love LOVE this property. Debbie and Pat could not be more gracious guests and we have made staying at this property an annual tradition. The pool, grounds and property are all incredible and beautifully appointed. Could not be happier.

I won the VRBO lottery

I’m can say with confidence in my YEARS of staying in VRBOs that this was THE BEST of all of them. The pix do not do it justice. The pool, the lake, the screened porch, the deck, the living room…all perfect. The host was communicative.and so helpful I HIGHLY revommend

Family Bama trip

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, Pat and Debbie where the best host I have had at an vrbo home. They helped when our tailgating party fell through with a bunch of wonderful recommendations. Plan on staying here when we make it back to see our son at Alabama. Roll tide! 🐘

Another special visit

We have stayed at this property many times over the years for our friends’ get together and for Bama football games. Debbie and Pat are phenomenal hosts who think of every little detail, and their beautiful custom home sits on a little slice of heaven. It’s the perfect get away that’s not too far from everything you need. I cannot recommend this property and these hosts enough. Over time they have become like family.

Serene setting for Graduation.

Had a wonderful stay for our sons graduation from the University of Alabama! Had so much fun on the pontoon boat on the lake , catching 4 fish! Debbie the owner is lovely the home is beautiful. Well stocked kitchen and high end linens and a view of the lake to die for! Our 3 sons enjoyed the bonfire also . With an easy drive from campus, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect Lake Retreat

You would be lucky to book this little gem of a house in an idyllic lake setting. Our family came in from Florida and California to visit our daughter at University if Alabama for parents weekend. We wanted to stay a little outside of the campus hustle and found this spot just 20 minutes from Campus. This house should be the poster ad for VRBO. It’s a gorgeous little lake retreat with pool and lake. Comfy sitting areas around the property and inside the house to take advantage of natures views. The home is purposely relaxing and peaceful. When it comes to cleanliness, I could be your worst critic but this house and property is pristine. Host Debbie was genuinely interested in making sure our stay was comfortable and easily accessible. Five star rating. We are now officially spoiled.

Plenty of Southern hospitality and charm

We loved this home. Every detail was executed perfectly; from the fishing poles left out for my son, To the towels and lotions left out for use by the pool. The house was very clean and elegantly decorated but the property is truly the wow factor. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this rental or the very sweet owners. Highly recommend this rental!!

So nice we skipped most of Alabama parents weekend to relax at the lake

Y'all - I mean, we spent time with our daughter - she left campus and stayed with us and, of course we went to the game - Roll Tide - but we enjoyed every other minute at this lovely home. The hosts met us when we arrived to make sure we knew our way around. They also had set up so we could have a bonfire by the private lake. This is just true southern hospitality. My husband spent his days on the boat fishing Pappy's pond. The lawn felt like carpet on bare feet. There were hummingbirds, butterflies and little tree frogs, fresh rosemary and huge Japanese maples surrounding the swimming pool and a beautiful outdoor cat that loved attention. It was a perfect weekend.

Amazing stay!

Our stay was amazing. Our host, Debbie, was extremely helpful on getting us to her place and helping show us everything we needed to know. Our stay was perfect with plenty of room and their beautiful property was perfect to have our family celebrate our daughters graduation. If you need a place near Tuscaloosa, it is a perfect place to rent. While staying in the country, the drive to the University was quick and easy. We would highly recommend their place!

On Golden Pond

We had the best time staying in this beautiful home. We enjoyed sitting beside the pond and gorgeous swimming pool. Our hosts set us up with a huge bonfire which we absolutely loved with our family and friends. Everything was very clean and well stocked. It’s close to campus and perfect for a home game weekend. Our hosts Debbie and Pat are so kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much

Beautiful private property, even better than the pics!!

Owners were great! Welcomed us upon arrival and explained how everything worked. They even set up an amazing bonfire which we enjoyed the first night we were there. The house was even better than the pics and the outdoor area is fantastic! We can’t wait to get back on a sunny weekend to enjoy the pool! Private setting but only 5-10 mins to restaurants and grocery. 20mins to UA campus. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful spot for a game weekend

Beautiful house and grounds!

This was a great place to enjoy a game weekend in Tuscaloosa. Great property and gracious hosts. You won’t be disappointed. Despite being a little ways out of town, Uber will come out to the house to get you to/from Tuscaloosa with no problems.
