The apartment Sun is located in the quiet area just 10 minutes walk from the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace,the Peristil, St. Duje's Cathedral and the Riva Waterfront Promenade, the city’s most attractive sights.
The location is in walking distance from Marjan hill as well as the sandy Bačvice beach.
The restaurants, popular cafes, shops, exclusive boutiques, galleries and museums are just few minutes walk from the apartment.
The green market, groceries, bakeries and banks are in the immediate surroundings.
The apartment is self-catering and offers modern, stylish interiors, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, cable TV, DVD, stereo.
Full kitchen with dining area is equipped with utensils and cooking essentials, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, oven, ceramic stove and table with 6 seats.
Living room with a sofa bed that converts to full size bed.
Master bedroom provides comfortable, queen size bed (large), travel baby bed and wardrobe.
Twin bedroom has two single beds and wardrobe.
The private bathroom is equipped with a washing machine, shower, hairdryer, free toiletries and loundry detergent. Ironing board, iron and clothes dryer are also at your disposal.
Off the dining area is a private balcony with a small table for morning coffee or glass of wine in the beautiful summer evenings.
The apartment has safety door.
FREE public PARKING is possible on the parking lot in front of the apartment under the trees. Public parking is also available at guarded parking lot nearby across the street (reservation is not possible) and charges are applicable (10Eur/day or 1Eur /hour).
Location is in walking distance from Marjan hill covered with pine forest which provides a perfect settings for good hiking and cycling, children’s playgrounds, an observation point and beautiful natural and gravel beaches as well as from the sandy Bacvice beach awarded with a Blue Flag, famous for numerous bars, restaurants,patisserie and the vibrant nightlife.
The famous disco bars Vanilla and Hemingway and Poljud stadium are 10min walk from the apartment.
The Main Bus and the Train Station, as well as the Ferry Port with everyday links to nearby islands (Brac, Hvar, Šolta, Vis), are 15 minutes of walk from the apartment. Split Airport is 25 km away. The front desk can arrange shuttle services at an extra charge.
Internet Free! WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Family trip to Split

Communication was great, there were some guests prior to our stay that had done some minor damage and it was communicated and addressed timely. Arrangements were made to pick us up at the airport which was great after flying. There was a bit of a heatwave and one bedroom did not get cooled very much from the AC, requested a fan and it was dropped off that evening, which helped a lot. there is a market below the apartment which is handy as you drink a lot of water.

Best Apartment for Family 5*!

English We stayed from 30.8.-12.9.2015 in the apartment of Anđelka Barić in Split. The apartment is very central. Within a few minutes we reached the beautiful old town with its fresh fruits and vegetables markets, a fish market and other culinary delicacies of Dalmatia. To the sand beach Bacvice we needed with our two children 15-20 minutes. The walks were always very beautiful and carefree. After several long walks through the city or sunbathing we were happy to found in the apartment some coolness and tranquility. The apartment was beautiful, even luxurious for us. Sufficiently large, friendly, very clean, bright, modern furnishings and well equipped. From air conditioning to hair dryer we had everything there, even a travel cot we got provided. We had all times mobile reception as well as Wi-Fi in all rooms. Anđelka, our landlady, we perceived only as positive. She is a very open-minded, friendly and helpful young lady who has very amazed us with their hospitality. Upon arrival at the apartment she took us warmly welcomed and has repeatedly taken time for us during the stay. She gave us a city map and told us valuable information about beaches, playgrounds, places worth seeing, buildings, museums and their perks with. One evening we forgot the key inside, her nice man brought us the spare key without any Problems. They gave us help and support during the transfer from the apartment to the bus station or gave us tips in bad weather. We have felt very comfortable in the beautiful city of Split and its surroundings, we saw the beautiful buildings, streets, monuments and much of it put us in a bygone era. By boat we visited the interesting islands of Brac and Hvar, towers and fortresses climbs and rewarded with beautiful views of the Adriatic coast. All in all we felt in Split and in the apartment very comfortable, really relaxed and were very pleasantly surprised at all. Thanks Andelka for this wonderful experience and your hospitality. Nice flat

The flat was very clean and spacious with all the items you would need. Angelica was helpful. Unfortunately our number plate was stolen from within the guarded parking across the street overnight which left us wondering about the area.

Amazing!!

I have stayed in several VRBO’s and this one exceeded my expectations! It is in a great location, close to all of the restaurants/pubs you could possibly want! It is a short walk to the beaches and you have a grocery store underneath! Andelka (the host, or SUPER-host I should say) was extremely kind and helpful for the duration of our stay. She went above and beyond to help us and I cannot say enough good things about her level of assistance! I highly recommend staying in this property if you ever come to Split :)

Convenient for town

Andelka is lovely & very helpful, she made us most welcome & nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is very clean, convenient for town & has a supermarket underneath. However, we didn't find it to be a "quiet area" as described. The apartment block is on a corner & overlooks a busy road & we found it very noisy particularly in the very early morning (commuter traffic) and also through the night as well. During our stay the weather was very hot & humid (31-33 degrees) - the only air conditioning is in the kitchen/dining area so we found that the living room was too hot to relax in and the bedrooms were particularly hot making sleeping very difficult. Also, a change of towels mid week would have been appreciated.

Super clean apartment with parking in city center

Super clean, air-conditioned apartment with spacious living space with flat tv (UBS and great Wi-Fi), fully equipped kitchen even with dishwasher and two bedrooms with comfortable beds. The balcony is perfect for dinner in the evening. Enough place to park right by the building! A small supermarket right at the bottom of the building had everything you need. It's walking distance to the Old Town, Bacvice beach and beautiful Marjan hill even with small kids. We were looking for an apartment that was handy for the Old Town and beaches but avoided traffic and parking hassles and noise in the night, this one hits the perfect balance. Thanks to Angelica who is very helpful and welcoming host. She gave us very useful informations and suggestions.Would definitely stay there again!

Clean, bright & spacious

The apartment was perfect for myself & two friends. Kitchen was stocked with everything you might need for cooking although we ate out. Plenty of hot water & towels. Good location, just a 15 minute walk to the centre of split. Andelka was easily contactable on phone for any advice or problems. Would recommend. It was on 4th floor with no lift so not suitable for anyone with walking problems. Supermarket just underneath was very handy.

Very nice flat, clean, quiet, all commodities and a very helpful owner.

Very nice flat, quiet and not far from the old town by foot with all commodities. Easy parking at the back of the building and small shopping place in front of the building with long opening hours :-). Good air conditioning and wifi connection. Andelka was very nice and helpful upon arrival organizing pick up for us at the airport and providing us with all useful information. Just be aware that the flat is located on the 4th floor and there is no elevator (like almost everywhere in Croatia). I would really recommend this place for a stay in Split :-)

Wir sind in Split angekommen, im Moment etwas erschrocken, weil das Haus eine Art Wohnblock war. Der Name war an der Klingel nicht angeschrieben aber am Briefkasten. Die Wohnung selber war sehr sauber, sehr schöne eingerichtet und sehr zentral gelegen. Für einen Städtetrip nach Split sehr zu empfehlen.

Excellent!

The apartment is very comfortable. There are all you need for living. The location is great, 7 minutes to the old town by walk, 5 minutes to the beautiful view by car, 10 minutes to a sand beach by car, the supermarket is just on the downstair. Super séjour à Split

L'appartement est spacieux, lumineux, moderne, bien équipé et bien situé. Le centre de Split est à 8 min à pied, on peut accéder facilement aux jolies plages de la colline de Marjane en 5 min de voiture. Andelka est très accueillante, bienveillante et donne plein de conseils de visites à l'arrivée. Manque juste une cafetière à notre avis (mais nous sommes de grands buveurs de cafés !). Je recommande vivement cette location.

Wonderful apartment!!

We spent five days in this apartment, and truly enjoyed all of the activities nearby. The owner was amazing with contacting us back providing us with helpful information during our visit and even was able to buy me a birthday cake and balloons to celebrate our sons 8 year birthday. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who visit split. We had free parking, and since we rented a car we were able to drive to the KRKA waterfalls in other places nearby. The apartment is very clean, and the beds are very comfortable 😀

Amazing holiday. Amazing apartment

We loved our two week family holiday in split. The two bedroom apartment had spacious rooms, great facilities such as air con and is in the perfect location to get around and explore. We had a car and had a different adventure every day. We were so happy with Anđelka, all the information she gave us as she welcomed us and how hospitable she was throughout our stay. We will definately consider returning to croatia and staying here again.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the City.

Had a wonderful week in Split in this lovely Apartment. Very clean, spacious and fitted with everything you could need. It was 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of the City and the sea front. Andelka was so helpful and full of interesting things to visit and do. She gave us information on trips and places to eat. Would definitely return to Split and stay here again.

A great stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Split. Andelka met us at the airport and gave us some great advice about staying in Split. The apartment was in a quiet part of town and we where able to walk down the old town to enjoy the great historical buildings and restaurants on the water front. The flat was nice clean and in good condition, with everything we needed for our stay.

Great option

Andelka is really the reason this apartment gets 5 stars. She was great to communicate with, and really went above and beyond with providing maps, suggestions for dinners, activities, and tours. She even had a welcome drink ready for us and a nice treat for our son! Meeting with her was a great start to our stay in Split. The apartment itself quite suited our needs. It was very clean, modern, and provided plenty of space for our family of 3 to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped, and the only thing I found lacking that I might have expected was a hair dryer. It is a climb up to the apartment, but I just thought of the stairs as earning my gelato! The walk into town is an easy one, and while this apartment does not provide the views some other areas may have, it is still nice to sit on the balcony, and it is well worth being a bit outside the old town for the ease of parking if coming by car! The area around the apartment is very safe- no worries for women walking alone, and the immediate area has many conveniences- one night we grabbed a bottle of Croatian wine from the shop downstairs and enjoyed while sitting outside. Great experience and value!

Before I got married, I lived in this apartment in the city centre but in quiet neighbourhood. After working day, I didn't need to waste time searching for parking place because parking lot is in front of my apartment. Shops, bars.. are just few minutes walk from the apartment. Marjan hill which provides a perfect settings for good hiking and cycling or swimming is only 15 min walk or 3-4 minutes by car.
