Move seamlessly from inside to out, enjoying the antique garden views from numerous vantage points. On nights in, bring in a private chef to show off a menu of local favorites to be served directly in your private garden. The air conditioning will make sure the apartment is fresh and ready for an unforgettable night. After dinner, sip negroni in the formal living room, lit by a majestic chandeliers and a 15th century Tuscan stone chimneypiece and a room-length floor-to-ceiling opening to the garden. Once you’ve snapped a few pictures at the most famous sites, like the Anfiteatro, Guinigi Tower, Cathedral and Piazza San Michele (all within a 5 mins walk away) sneak away from the crowds and spend an afternoon al fresco on the outdoor sofas under the white roses pergola and among old lemon trees while listening to the healing and calming sound of water coming from the 1700s fountain at the centre of the garden. The garden and its multiple living and sitting areas is ideal to hide away among plants and flowers to read book or to enjoy a fabulous dinner at the grand dining table.Later, check out the world-class fashion on Via Fillungo, the city’s most famous shopping district, just 2-minutes from the apartment. Safe car parking and bus station are located within 5 mins walk away while the central train station of Lucca is located just 15 mins walk away. Air conditioning throughout, floor heating, high-speed 200 mega wifi connection, washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, a samsung smart tv connected to wifi and a Bang&Olufsen music system are just some of the features of this apartment.COMPOSITION:Living room, dining room with kitchen. From living area 4 steps up there is a double bedroom while from living area 8 steps down there is a master bathroom with grand built shower and bathtub. From the downstairs corridor there is access to the secluded Master suite on 2 levels which is composed by a study room and a bathroom with grand built shower on the main floor and by a master bedroom with toilet on the upper floor.This apartment has private use of half of the land that is shared with our other apartment called La Casina which is advertised on this website. We loved our stay at Casa

Beautiful decor throughout! The bedrooms and bathrooms were stunning! The garden and fountain were breathtaking!! The kitchen was fully stocked. The house was very clean. All the details down to the magazines on the coffee table were lovely. The apartment was very walkable to everything Lucca has to offer! Manuel was kind and helpful. Thank you!!

Lucca is peaceful and so charming.

We loved the location, comfort, and ease of this apartment. There are no stairs to get in, plenty of space to relax, and so many restaurants and cafes within 5 minute walk. Lucca is peaceful and so charming. We had a great time and I highly recommend staying here!

Lucca great vacation!

Close enough to Lucca 1 minute drive and park on outside of Walls and walk in.Great accommodation with fully stocked kitchen, good a/c in bedrooms and great house manager. Detailed and concise introduction from Manuel and kept in touch all good, happy to return soon.

Loved it and Lucca!

We love it. The accommodation is beautiful! Just outside of the hustle and bustle of the interior tourist area, this apartment is wonderful to return to. The garden is stunning! Also, easy access to the wall that surrounds the city with beautiful walking path.

Unique rental with a marvelous garden

The garden was clearly the high point of this accomadation. When we arrived in April, the white flowers (viburnum) in the garden were in full bloom. The main entrance to the apartment is through the garden. As usual, the apartment was well stocked with everything we needed for our month in Lucca. We did notice that with the bedroom windows open, there could be a fair amount of street noise. However the windows were well insulated, and closing the windows took care of the noise. There are also several stairs in the apartment which could be a concern for persons with limited mobility.

Would highly recommend.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Lucca. The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and close to many shops and restaurants - all within close walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment spotless. One of the nicest features of this apartment is the quiet court yard which provided a nice reprieve after a long day exploring.

Simply Amazing - Perfection !

Our host, Manuel, was friendly and informative. Very gracious and knowledgable. The location was very close to everything you want to do in Lucca which was ideal. There is no parking at the apartment but there is parking about an 8 min walk outside the walls which is very inexpensive per day. The apartment is clean and well maintained and very quiet. The courtyard is a major plus. You can pick lemons off the trees and make your cocktail with it while you sit on your private patio sipping it in peace. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is very nice. This place will NOT disappoint you. You should not pass it up! The front door key was a little tricky to operate but once we figured it out it was fine.

Wonderful garden

We had a wonderful stay here. Lucca was our most favorite place in all of Europe that we saw and this place was in the best location. The big garden was amazing, loved the lemon plants and the furniture were incredible. So wonderful. I will come back here for sure!!!

This apartment was something special and ordinary! The pictures were very correct and the environment of the apartment and the lovely garden is just “wow”! We definitely felt like home and we could feel that they really take good care of the apartment. The garden was lovely. Perfect for breakfast and afternoon dining/drink in the sun. Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing little apartment. Forgoes decor, spotlessly clean. They have thought of everything and the highest standards throughout. Felt very at home here and felt very peaceful considering it was just down the street from shops and bars. Couldn’t recommend it more to be honest … definitely the best place we have stayed in for a while!

Wow

Wow! Impeccably decorated & sparklingly clean apartment, with beautiful private garden, luxurious bathrooms & kitchen. Perfect for 2 couplesa family. We had a great stay & especially enjoyed having breakfasts together in the garden. Quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from San Michele square. Host was very responsive & flexible when we arrived several hours later than expected due to rail strike delays.

Loved this apartment!

We loved the apartment. It is decorated very stylishly and is newly renovated with nice amenities. It is a unique design with different levels of living. There are steps down to bathroom. And up again to bedroom. The lighting is amazing throughout the house and creates a nice ambiance. The garden is very beautiful and peaceful with various seating options. It is easy to walk all around Lucca and enjoy all the sights and restaurants.

Beautiful Accommodations

Casa Vanny was just beautiful. It had both old world charm with all the modern conveniences. The garden was magical. We spent our 45th wedding anniversary here and, as is our custom every 5 years, renewed our vows under the arch near the fountain. We could not have asked for a more perfect spot. The location is within an easy walk to restaurants, cocktail bars, shopping, etc. The home and the customer service were top notch. We were surprised that we were expected to purchase basic supplies like bags for the various waste baskets. That is not something we've experienced before. Otherwise, the everything was wonderful.
