Looking for the best spot to stay in Argostoli? Our apartment is just two blocks away from the central square!
Argostoli offers a multitude of dining, nightlife and proper shopping options, as well as an ample choice of fine beaches within and all around the city. Of course, if that is not enough, you can always explore the rest of the island while based in the heart of it.
This cozy, modern one-bedroom apartment can be your base in town.
The space
Sizing around 35sqm (380sqft), this ground floor apartment consists of a bedroom, a living room with a kitchenette and the bathroom.
You enter the apartment into a nice living space, with a sofa and a dining table. There is also a kitchenette for a self-catering stay. A small size stove and oven is available, plus a kettle and a toaster. A full-size fridge and of course, all the essential utensils, basic kitchen tools, pots and pans you might need.
Comfortable and modern, the bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed. There is a wardrobe to store your clothes.
Lastly the bathroom is equipped with a shower.
The sofa also opens in a single bed.
Ideal for couples, this comfortable, one-bedroom apartment is in the very center of town.
Only two blocks away from the central square and the new city center, it is at the same time so central and yet so accessible. Any bit closer to the center, parking and traffic become an issue. Right now, we are at the perfect spot: close enough to walk anywhere but in a residential street where you usually have no problem parking right outside.
Most major points of interest around town can be walked to:
• 3’ to Central Vallianou Square
• 5’ walk to seafront
• 5’ walk to an ATM
• 10’ to Agora/Argostoli Market – a part of the downtown seafront area with numerous grocery stores, bakeries, butcher and dairy shops etc. and some restaurant and cafés too)
• 10’ to Lithostroto St. – a pedestrian street about a mile long where lies the main commercial activity of the city. The place to go for all your general shopping: clothing, jewelry, souvenirs and much more.
• 20’ walk to Argostoli Central Bus Station
• 5’ walk to the pier for the ferry to Lixouri
There is an intra-city bus that goes around town and towards the Lassi area where are many beaches, restaurants and bars.
You can always use taxis, rent a car or a scooter to get around. Driving a car to downtown Argostoli is not recommended as traffic and lack of parking spaces can be very frustrating.
A car, however, is essential if you plan to visit other places of the island and to ease access to the beach – either around Argostoli or further away.
