Come visit Beautiful Norris lake and stay in the newest floating house on Norris Lake! Half Moon Harbor is located in Andersonville, Tn 15 minutes from the Interstate and shopping! Located on the mooring line across from Stardust Marina. Half Moon Harbor is the only floating duplex on Norris lake that is accessible by land and boat. Side A is pictured. Each side of the duplex has three beautifully furnished bedrooms , fully equip kitchen with full size refrigerator, range/oven, dishwasher and microwave and a full size bathroom. Side A is complete with a stack washer and dryer for your convenience. Two Master bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with twin bunk beds and a fold out sofa in the living room and kitchen combo area. Huge covered patio perfect for grilling and lounging in rain or shine. Enjoy listening to the live music from the marina right from your own covered patio. Covered patio is furnished with outdoor furniture and a gas grill. Bring your swimsuits and enjoy boating, fishing and exploring Norris Lake. Side B of the duplex is also available for rent with groups larger than (8) eight Contact owner for details.

Bedding, bath towels, and Marine safe toilet paper are furnished. Paddle boat and Kayak available upon request. Grocery shopping service available upon request. Boats available to rent at Stardust Marina.

Location: Conveniently located in Andersonville Tn. Easy Access to Norris Lake, Museums, Norris Dam, Boating, sking, fishing, shopping, dining, interstate and much more.

Thank you so much, Tasha, for a wonderful stay! The place was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. The outdoor space was definitely our favorite. Plenty of seating and outdoor grill with a beautiful view of the lake. Stardust Marina is in walking distance which is where we rented a pontoon boat for a day. We will definitely book with Tasha again!

We have stayed here before and once again it did not disappoint, we never wanted to leave! The location couldn’t be better, loved the peaceful surroundings and having coffee every morning looking over the lake. Super clean space. Very friendly hosts. 10/10 recommend!

Best Location on Norris Lake!

This place was absolutely adorable! It was hard to leave the beautiful views of the lake and marina! The owners are super nice people and made us feel welcome! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Fantastic outdoor space

This is a fantastic place to stay for boating/fishing enthusiasts. Awesome outdoor living space. Really nice to boat all day and then dock your boat right at your house. Stardust Marina right outside your door. A bit of confusion about number of covered slips available with rental, but we were able to dock the boats along side the outdoor patios, so not a deal breaker.

Norris Lake Floating House

We were there for the last aummer trip and it was lovely! The house was clean and just like it was described. We were able to park my boat, enjoy some fishing and gorgeous views. The only thing I would suggest is a broom so we could clean after cooking.

We really enjoyed the stay and convenience of boating while being here. It was clean and dry when it rained. Great cover for the boat so it stayed dry.

2024 family vacation

Great location loved the layout with the side porch for dining and grilling out The carport, for the boat was also very nice Just a few hundred feet from Stardust marina which had a live band which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks for letting us stay would definitely come back and highly recommend.

A lovely place to stay for a weekend at the lake

My friends and I enjoyed playing games and relaxing while taking advantage of a beautiful weekend at Norris. The kitchen is well appointed and the outdoor space is nice for visiting. Extra lighting- with better bulbs and maybe a lamp or two- would help with both inside and outside living spaces. We used our phone flashlights to finish our dominoes game because it was too dark at 7:30 to see them outside. However, the early morning boat rides and evening sunsets made for a lovely time. This is our second visit to Half Moon Harbor… and we will be back!

If I Could Give it More Stars I Would!

We’ve been coming to Norris for many years and stayed in multiple rental properties, this is by far our favorite. From the drive to the ease of the launch to the amazingness of just coming home at the end of the day and being home with no stairs or golf cart rides to deal with, this place is perfection. Central on the lake and being by stardust makes it easy to just show up if you don’t want to do any cooking. You will not regret staying here. We cannot wait to come back!!!

A little piece of heaven!

Where do I start... the place is amazing. We rented both duplex units and had a party of 12. We were met by the owner upon arrival because he wanted to make sure we had water. A water cooler is provided. I also loved that there were plenty of towels and wash clothes. The dryer is extremely hot and dries quick. Great for those thick beach towels. The swimming area was nice right next to the marina so you could hear the band play on Friday and Saturday nights. The units are covered so they gave plenty of shade if you wanted it. My husband caught two catfish if you are going to be fishing. Saw a few turtles. All and all it was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and fun. We would definitely rent again. Thanks for having us.

Perfect lakefront getaway!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this adorable property enjoying the location and all the amenities this home offers. Cute decorations, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, plenty of towels, a spacious bathroom all contributed to our great stay. We loved sitting outside on the covered porch, gathering in the kitchen, and being steps from our boat to get out and explore the beautiful area. Our group included 2 families of 7 total- 4 adults and 3 teenagers. All communications with the owner were prompt and thorough. We loved the location at Stardust marina, convenient boat dock and amenities, and a great location along the River.

Amazing Stay

We have been going to the lake every summer for a few years now and this was one of our favorite places that we stayed! The location was great and the place was very nice. Our favorite part was the outdoor patio overlooking the water. There was plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy time together. Highly recommend booking!

Great stay!

Great house! Very clean - lots of towels which was nice. Air conditioner was loud when sitting outside, but lots of room outside to enjoy the lake views. Covered slip was also very nice for the boat.

Floating house on Lake Norris

Family stayed here during our vacation where several families were at different houses around Lake Norris. The floating house was a different experience and being adjacent to Stardust Marina was convenient. The house is super cute and the marine toilet and shower were an easy adjustment (water is filtered for showering and laundry, but you will need to bring your own drinking water.). Loved the big porch and the nice wide boat slip. The owner was great to work with and I think that more than one family will want to stay in this cute cottage on our next family reunion trip to Lake Norris.

Love this place

The property was ideally located and very nice. The only issues we had were the AC unit on the patio was extremely loud when we were outside on the patio. Also the dryer didn't work. Host responded to the dryer issue fairly promptly by text. It was a little odd to me though that they were staying in the other side for a couple days during our stay and never came over to see if it started working again. I got another text after they left asking if it worked and then told someone was coming to look at it and nothing else after that. We made due with a clothes line we made, but as I said seemed a little odd. Other than that it was an amazing place 😁

Great Spot!

This place was perfect! Very clean and well stocked with necessities. Close to civilization, but the wi-fi was decent enough on the water to communicate. Fun activities and a marina within a stones throw. Great communication as well - highly recommend. Great value!

We spent the majority of 2017 renovating the floating building into a vacation home. We hope that you enjoy Half Moon Harbor. It has been a labor of love!

Half Moon Harbor was once a marina. We purchased it in July 2017 with intent to renovate and turn it into a floating duplex. After a full 12 months of hard work we accomplished our goal and created a unique floating duplex on the beautiful Norris Lake that has all the comforts of home! We have met some wonderful people from all over the US that have created fond memories.

The only Floating Duplex house on Norris that is accessible by land and water. Huge Covered outdoor patio to enjoy lake views and outdoor dining rain or shine. Covered Boat slip right at your front door. Gorgeous sunsets. Perfect spot for fishing right off your own dock. Wake up to the lake being your front yard. On Saturday nights you can listen to the featured band right from your own patio. Paddle boat over to Stardust marina for ice cream or a burger!
