Location: Deerfield Resort...FREE WI-FY,UNLIMITED LONG DISTANCE, HI DEF FLAT SCREENS,FREE HBO AND SHOWTIME. This Resort home is a private lakefront vacation home with private dock. An 18 hole championship Golf course, (The Greens at deerfield) is located right in this beautiful gated community.

The waterfront in a cove makes it a safe and relaxing place to spend time on the water. A paradise for boating, water-skiing, fishing, and golfing. Deerfield Resort is an exclusive and secluded area nestled between the Cumberland Mountains and the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, with an 18 hole golf course, private airstrip, and accommodations to make your vacation spectacular. It is approximately 35 miles south of the Kentucky/Tennessee border off I-75, exit 134 (11 miles from La Follette and 30 miles north east of Knoxville.)

Norris Lake has it all! The lakes beautiful blue-green waters span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. Norris Lake boundaries extend up the Clinch and the Powell Rivers which feed Norris with clear, pristine waters. It's an ideal environment for sportsmen and vacationers alike.

Beautiful view and outdoor living!

The dock was so nice to tie our jet skis to and just get on and zoom around Norris everyday! The rooms were spacious and clean. Can’t wait to come back!!

Great Trip

This was our first trip to Norris lake and we had a great vacation. I highly recommend the property which is located at the end of a cove which was a perfect place for kids to swim. The house and property exceeded our expectations.

Perfect family vacation!

We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had more time! Beautiful home had everything we needed. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 children. The home was very clean upon arrival. We didn't mind the steep slope because the cove it leads to is so private our kids could swim without worrying about other boats. My kids already asking if we can come back next year!

The Perfect Norris House

This was our second stay in this home. The house and dock are in a cove, which makes it perfect for swimming and enjoying the lake without leaving the property. The kitchen is well-stocked with supplies, including an auxiliary fridge/freezer in the basement.

Great vacation on Norris Lake

We had a fantastic stay at your lakefront home. The lake is so beautiful, we could not get over how blue and clean the lake was. The house was perfect for 10 adults. We had plenty of room. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck mornings and evenings. The dock was private and we all had fun swimming, and kayaking in the cove. Thank you and we hope to return. We highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home and private cove

We loved having our own dock at the end of a cove for a private experience! This allowed our kids to swim and play on the dock without the worry of boats coming in and out! The house was beautiful and nicely furnished! The only problem we ran into was the downstairs bathroom curtain rod kept falling down but other than that, the house was very clean and we had a wonderful time!

Great time at this Norris Lake property

Me and my family was just recently at this lovely home and we had a great time and definitely will be renting in the future.It had everything to feel are needs plenty of cooking wear.The only thing I would of liked to have access to the golf cart to get up and down the hill but we had a great time.

Family vacation 2024

The house was perfect for us, our children and our grandchildren. Three bathrooms worked out great with 11 people!! The walk to the dock is pretty steep. We were grateful for the hand rail. We also rented the owner’s golf cart. We used it to get Mon’s and babies back up to the house. Two refrigerators and an ice maker were an added bonus!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay, and the cove was great for our family ,without any fear since it was the last house in the cove. The incline was steep to the dock but they offered rental of a golf cart which is a must. We had a couple small things but the owner responded quickly and they were to be fix before the next renters arrived. Over all nice house. The layout was a little different then expected but worked out fine. Thanks Kim and Rob for sharing your vacation home with us.

Deerfield peaceful cove

Located in the back of a quiet cove, when not boating we were able to swim off the dock. Very pretty setting. Home is clean and spacious especially the upper level Owner's suite. Ice Maker wasn't working as advertised but we were able to get ice at nearby marinas and food lion the second fridge in lower level was a bonus. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions or issues we had during our stay. Would definitely stay there again, I really love the Deerfield area.

Amazing tranquility

Our family stayed at this residence on a quiet cove nestled among the trees. It was an amazing time for our family to spend quality time together. The home had plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and 4 children and we enjoyed the quiet cove for swimming and spending time together. We had a boat but found that we did not really need it as this residence has everything we needed to enjoy our stay on Norris Lake. When we were not swimming, the kids would go downstairs to play video games or watch TV while the adults were on the main floor eating, talking and watching TV or out on the porch enjoying the quiet sounds of nature. There were deer grazing in the yard (one with a fawn) and a couple of very friendly squirrels who would come to see what we had to eat. We would recommend this residence to anyone considering a stay on Norris Lake.

Wonderful location

We loved the accommodations. Perfect for the 12 of us. The dock was in a nice, quiet cove. The use of the golf cart was a big help with our 71 year old grandmother. Their were a set of stairs still leading down to the dock which were a little steep but doable. Grandma used a walking stick to stable her since there was no hand rail. The incline was cement but had handrail which helped the ones walking. The house was clean and well stocked, The deck was shady and very pleasant to sit on. The dock had a picnic table which was nice. A few lawn chairs might be nice to bring, We also used the paddle boat which was fun!!! Overall, a very nice vacation house especially for the price!! We also walked on the road. Super nice walking area, not too hilly. Thank you!

Great cove & boat dock

We stayed at this home the week of July 4 holiday and found the home to be in average shape with the living room carpet in need of cleaning, the lower level smelling a bit musty which got worse after 3 nights of hard rain and a hole under one of the french doors leading to the deck. The air conditioning was excellent and needed as it was 102 deg, bedrooms except the 2 in the lower lever were very nice but the biggest issue was the hill to the dock. This hill is very difficult to climb unless you are young and in good shape. We managed to make sure we only went to the boat at 10:00AM and returned back to the home (up the hill) after 5:00 so we wouldn't have to climb the hill more than once per day including carrying coolers, etc. The boat dock and cove to swim in was excellent. Owners are pleasant and helpful as we got our security deposite back within 2 weeks.

We are glad you enjoyed the area. It is very nice and private in our cove, very safe for smaller children. I am sorry the rain dampened your families vacation. During the rainy times we have a dehumidifier in the laundry room that I like running all summer. It removes all the dampness in the lower level.I could not find a small hole under the door. I wish you would have called me so I could have remedied your conerns during your visit. We have a golf cart for our path for assisting you in carrying your things to your boats. We have replaced the carpeting in the lower level and are very pleased with how it looks. We hope you have better weather next trip out..

A little too much rain caused soggy carpets!

Due to heavy rain we had water running from bottom of circuit breaker box in downstairs bunk room, owner sent in cleaning crew to extract water and installed a dehumidifier and fans. As bed was moved during clean up it exposed some mold issues in bedroom. We had rented the golf cart as we had two individuals in walking boot due to injuries, cart was difficult to use and had difficulty pulling hill. Kitchen had ample pots, pans and dishes but could benefit from cabinets to store food. Kitchen sink in desperate need of repair as it was hard to find the off position and dripped constantly. A hand rail on steps from path to dock would have been helpful, cove was clean and calm and a relaxing place to use paddle board, kayak and tubes/noodles we brought. On street parking on dead end street was a plus.

Thank you for your input. We are glad you enjoyed our calm and relaxing cove. Our area had extreme flooding during your stay. Our maintenance person has redirected the water from the street away from our home. In 24 years we have not seen flooding that bad. The bed frames in the basement are screwed to the walls and the 6 foot pierce of white trim behind the bed was completely covered in dust, not mold, and was cleaned immediately. Our golf cart is a great amenity with our home. I would have been happy to send someone to assist you with driving instructions, it makes it up and down our path with ease. The sink has been addressed, I was not aware of a drip.. We cannot have railing on the steps to the dock, that is a TVA rule.

Overall good property...please read

Our overall stay was great. The home is beautiful, and really nice because there are basically 3 separate living spaces for a large family. The slip and dock are really nice. We swam right off the dock when we weren't on our boat. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice having a washer and dryer. It was great having a golf cart, but keep in mind that they will charge you extra to use it. There is a grill, but it was really dirty, and we had to spend time cleaning it. The deck upstairs off of the master bedroom suite is really nice. It has been redone recently. The main deck on the main floor was in really bad shape. We actually had someone fall through one of the boards. It had many loose boards. It is very unsafe. The railing around the deck is also very unsafe. None of that is built up to code. We did contact the owners and they said it was going to be replaced in September.

This is a great house and right by the water.

I would recommend this house to anyone. This house was clean and has everything you need. The golf cart was really helpful with the steep hill to the lake.

Our family vacation

We enjoyed everything, my only disappointment was the very negative response on how we left the house. I personally walked through the house when we left and I would have to see a picture of the full bag of trash your cleaners found on the floor.

We have a real trash problem in our area. Any trash not bagged will not be taken by our trash man. It then becomes our next visitors problem. I then pay an extra fee for additional garbage pick up, and I also pay my cleaning service for having to bag your garbage. It is terribly inconvenient for all. We will have to come up with a better solution soon. This year has been especially difficult...

Late Notice, Great Stay

We had a great week after finding the property on really short notice. The location on the lake, in the back of a cove, which is awesome, and the house is perfect for multiple families. The hill isn’t bad at all, making the walk to the lake very manageable. The dock is great for swimming and is very quiet because of that location. If you have to spend time inside, the house is great, the bedrooms are perfect and they have all the amenities you need. The ice maker was an added bonus! Kim was great to work with and very informative on what we needed to know, we will definitely stay again!

Awesome property in Deerfield!

The house and setting are wonderful for all ages! It was very clean and had a warm homey feeling. The dock was in great shape and had a picnic table too. There is a small fire pit and bench swing too. We loved it.

Great house

Perfect for a large family! The layout makes it easy to enjoy a large gathering for a big family without tripping over each other. We had an issue with the metal “ bridge” over to the dock but a quick phone call to Kim ( the owner) got it fixed for us. I had trouble using the smart TVs in the master and downstairs....but I am 71😌. ( to be fair, our techs children couldn’t do it either) . A “ smart TVs for dummies guide “ in the house would have been helpful. There wasn’t a list of phone numbers on the refrigerator ( or anywhere else I could find) and I would appreciate that when we rent again. We rented the golf cart and it was a godsend! Our handicapped grandson made great use of it. The concrete ramp is very steep ( have you ever been to Norris Lake? Everybody’s ramp is steep!) so this is not a vacation for someone not in shape! Property is beautiful- view is idyllic- deer are everywhere. We would rent again!

We rented this house for the convenience of having a boat dock that we did not have to drive to. It was so convenient! The teenagers enjoyed swimming by the dock which you can see from the back porch. The walk to the dock is not as bad as we thought it would be. It may be more challenging with higher temperatures and humidity though. The kitchen is very well equipped for preparing anything you may want. We made all of our meals at the house knowing that there is not much in the area and the drive down the mountain to the nearest town is about 30 minutes. I would recommend this house to others. It was comfortable for our family of 10.

Great Family Retreat

Our family of 12 spent the week in this mountain house. The location was in a central location for three families to meet up. The accommodations were perfect with lots of space. The children had room to play games away from the adult watching football or just in conversation to catch up. The scenery was breathtaking...mountains and lake. It was fun to look out and see deer, squirrels and even a red fox in the yard. We found several parks and hiking trails within an hours drive. Our time there created memories to last a lifetime. The owners were quick to answer questions during our stay.

Great getaway

This home was perfect for a holiday getaway right on the water. I loved how the cove was secluded and had perfect access to the water. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much for letting us stay!
