Such a lovely property, lovingly looked after by the host (the best set up and maintained house in Valletta according to the local electrician). Very atmospheric and right in the old town, but just out of the thronging crowds so had a more local feel which was great. Could walk everywhere in Valletta with ease and interest. Thank you Joelean for letting us stay in your lovely property and for your attentiveness. Highly recommend.

Amazing Experience!

We couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. Joelean pick us up from the airport and dropped us off (even at 3am). The 450 year old townhouse was amazing...so full of character and super clean. There are some tricky stairs (adds to the character) but Joelean helped us with our luggage. The location is perfect and close to everything. Joelean even provided a personal sight seeing trip around the island for us.I can't wait to go back!

Perfect Property in the best location

The Valetta Corner House is an excellent balance of history and modern convenience. We appreciated the care the owner has given to the preservation of old architecture and selection of appropriate fittings. The location of the house puts the best of Valletta within walking distance, so our very short weekend visit was full without the need for a car.You will find the house very clean and well appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Check-in / check-out instructions were clear and very easy to follow. Communication with the host was clear and we felt as though we had a clear line to support if help was needed during out stay. We highly recommend Valetta Corner House if you love tradition, history and modern convenience. One thing to note is that the house is on multiple levels with ancient-style spiral stairs (that I loved!). Not for people with mobility challenges, but for most it is an excellent choice!

Taā€™ Golinaā€¦.Great Find

My friends and I loved our stay at Taā€™ Golina Corner House. As advertised, it was indeed on the corner of Republic St. and North Street. Republic is one of two main streets in the center of Valetta and North St. leads directly to The Maltese Experience, Fort St Elmo and the waterfront. The location could not have been more perfect. We were able to easily walk to anywhere we wanted in Valetta. There were numerous bars and restaurants close by as well as grocery stores, a bakery, a butcher and a convenience store. The Corner House was renovated in Maltese style so we got to experience living as the Maltese do. The property was clean and had all the conveniences of home. The stairs are narrow, windy and steep so not good if a person is step challenged. Joelean, our host, helped us get our bags up and down them. It was much appreciated. She also picked us up at the airport and returned us at the end of our stay. It was great to have her there when we arrived to explain everything we needed to know about the apartment. Throughout our stay she checked in to see how we were doing and if she could be of any help. She was very thoughtful and accommodating. Bottom line is we had a great stay and would highly the Corner House to travelers looking for a place to stay in Valetta.
