With the sound of the spring feed, fresh water Glenwood Pond cascading over the dam, this tranquil and scenic location makes an idyllic location for the ultimate island get-away. Located only minutes away from the iconic West Point Lighthouse, red sand beach and Lighthouse Willy's restaurant at the West Point Harbour, ON GLENWOOD POND provides luxury, fully equipped accommodation's for up to seven ( 7 ) PFA'S ( people from away ) guests. Our 2 story, 3 bedroom home has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 1 single bed for the kid's! Each bedroom is also equipped with a 3 piece en-suite! A fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities are also provided for your convenience.
Located at the intersection of highway 14 and 139, the Coastal Scenic highway ( Rte 14 ) will take you to North Cape and the famous Wind Observatory.
A short 15 minute drive into the town of O'Leary, the vacationer will find the local grocery, liquor and gas bar. For those that want to take a vacation from cooking there are four local eateries as well. Maple House Bakery, Vinny's Take-out, Canadian Potatoe Museum and the Backwoods Breakaway Burgers.
Those that wish to stay put, the Brook Trout fishing in Glenwood Pond is said to be some of the best on the island ( don't forget your fishing license )!

I can't say enough about this property! It was absolutely fabulous! The amenities were all top-notch. Greg was a joy to have as a "landlord." He was responsive to all our inquiries and even went above and beyond to help us purchase AND COOK lobsters for our last meal!! Thank you, Greg and Joanne, for a wonderful experience!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Arrived to find everything you could possibly need and the place was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay and Greg even met us upon arrival so he could explain a few things about the home. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute we were there. If you are looking for a wonderful place to relax and just enjoy yourself this is the place to be. Be sure and visit the wonderul beach (ten minute drive away and never overly crowded). You won't be disappointed booking this home.

Weekend Wedding

The house was perfect for our long weekend. It was everything we needed: comfortable, roomy, beautiful location. The 3 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, were excellent and the kitchen and living room were roomy, well equipped and extremely comfortable. We were in the area for a wedding and would happily stay there again if we are in the area in the future.

Lovely home on Glenwood Pond

Beautifully clean home and grounds with all modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area. Some very nice and not crowded beaches a short drive away. (Visit one of the local warfs during lobster season to get them as fresh as can be!) The hosts were fantastic, and really went out of their way to be helpful!

We arrived to a wonderful personal greeting from the home owner, who gave us a personal tour. Greg is the best host! Home is even more beautiful than expected. Well equipped and clean, modern yet full of charm, character and so cozy. We stayed for an amazing 5 nights. The kids loved it so much they wanted to stop the touring and just go back to the house! Perfect "down time"

Great stay!

Incredible home on a pond in rural PEI. My coworker and I were in the area for work for two weeks and this space is massive for just the two of us, kitchen had everything you need, beds were comfortable, and location was great. Greg was very responsive and helpful. Canā€™t wait to come back when Iā€™m not working! Thanks so much

Perfect Get Away

On Glenwood Pond is a beautiful house in a quiet corner of PEI. It is a bit of a drive to the tourist attractions but completely doable and totally worth it. The house is very well appointed- everything you need and some. It was immaculate and the setting is lovely. Super location to explore the North Cape- a part of the island often missed by tourists but well worth the time. Highly recommend!!

Family and friends getaway

With exception to location in respect to other points of interest, this property was excellent in all other respects . A very high quality accomodation with lots of amenities, very roomy and situated in an ideal setting for relaxation. Owners Greg and Joanne were very professional, accommodating and friendly. First Trip to PEI

For our first trip to PEI this was the perfect stay! The owners were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived to Glenwood Pond! We definitely enjoyed our time there for sure! The view and sound of the waterfall was especially beautiful! Perfect place to get away to and relax, it was nice and quiet! We also had a great time playing a few games in the evenings! Hole away from home

Greg was pleasure to deal with. Glenwood Pond has great history and the house and property are stunning. The house was the perfect size for my family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers on vacation. Not far from the Coop for supplies and was a decent distance from my site seeing attractions. Glenwood Pond will disappoint you.
