Our seaside retreat offers breathtaking ocean views, perfect sunsets situated on 15 acres overlooking the Northumberland Strait. This luxurious 3,400 square foot custom built bungalow has 4 bedrooms, chef style kitchen, spacious living rooms with stone fireplaces and everything you may want to relax and enjoy costal life.

Sit back and take in the sea-salt air on the balcony or from the walkout basement patio.
Enjoy relaxing walks along the coast while looking for sea glass. With the harbour only 1/2 km South you can buy fresh live lobster right off the boat.

Our new nightly rate includes all cleaning fees.

We had a wonderful stay at this property on the coast of PEI! The house was more than comfortable with a very complete kitchen and all the items we needed for hosting a big family dinner. The view is spectacular and we already miss it! Spent some time on the cliffs and the beach. We look forward to our next trip back to the Island!

An absolute stunner! The online pics and description really does no justice to seeing this place in person. Beautifully furnished, everything you would ever need, and the views...unreal. I'd give 7 stars if i could. We hope to stay there again within the next couple years. Thank you again!

Lovely home! Views are stunning from every window. The kitchen was well stocked and a joy to cook in. The dining table is a centrepiece with lots of space to share a meal with your group. The local beaches noted in the house book were great for walking and beach combing (we were lucky with finding lots of sea glass). Lots to do in the house with the family on a rainy day. Birds a plenty and we even saw a seal! A wonderful stay.

Perfect vacation spot!

This was a magical place to stay. Itā€™s in a quiet and peaceful rural area with amazing sea views but tourist attractions and necessities are within 15 minutes drive. The house is extremely clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you could need for a vacation. The owners were kind and helpful. The cliffs and beach alone were worth the trip. We loved sitting on the rocks watching the seals swim by and the fishing boats head in and out of the port. We canā€™t wait to visit again!

PEI Get Away

Beautiful property, dining room table is a masterpiece. We enjoyed a wild time at a concert at the Stompin Tom Connor Center. Also we enjoyed visiting local towns such as Tignish, Alberton and O'Leary. Don't forget the potatoes museum in O'Leary.

Breathtaking, rugged location with all the amenities.

Stunning views, fabulous shoreline to explore and the property was clean, beautifully appointed and decorated - and worked extremely well for two families of four each. Pictures just begin to describe the property - reality was even better. Highly recommend staying here. Even though it is off the beaten path, it is well worth it. Everything is a short drive away. A fabulous spot to rest, visit with family and to enjoy all that PEI has to offer.

Sea and Sky

This was a lovely home and the views-wow, especially the sunsets! It had a Wonderfully appointed kitchen with everything you might need but this lovely kitchen deserves a pull down faucet. The climb down to the rocks was an adventure that takes you to more stunning views. Visit the bakeries in Tignish, Alberton and Oā€™Leary for some amazing and affordable treats. This island knows how to make a cinnamon bun! Expect a bit of a drive into the central part of the island but it is a pleasant drive. The house had a closet full of games, puzzles etc to keep you busy on a rainy day. Overall the house was amazing, we had a very nice stay. I would recommend this property.

Family vacation

The home was beautiful with an absolutely breathtaking location. The sunsets were spectacular. I wish we would have researched the area we were in better, as we had to drive quite a ways to get to a clean beach and any tourism areas. However, if one is looking for a place for simple peace and quiet then this is the location for you! It was very peaceful!

Unbelievably beautiful

The property is stunning , views of the ocean and sunsets are second to none. This is our second trip out to Dave and Nancys place and I canā€™t wait to go back! We watched whales from the deck swimming around in the waters below, found a beautiful beach two minutes away, and enjoyed every moment at the place. The house is gorgeous, clean, super well maintained and the hosts are excellent! Canā€™t recommend enough.

What an amazing place to stay!

Our family and friends spent a week at Dave and Nancy's place and all we were left saying is WOW! The home looks as good if not better than the pictures. We made great use of the lobster pot, but the biggest surprise we enjoyed was the beautiful private beach! There was no need to go anywhere! It was as nice if not nicer than any other beach we visited. Kids and adults alike had a great time. Everything you need is within a 1/2hr drive for food and drink! This was one of the best cottage rental experiences we have had in the past 10yrs of renting cottages!

Great scenery

Beautiful property! We did a lot of traveling around the island but it was wonderful coming back to this property. It was peaceful and secluded. Internet service in the area is not great which posed an issue with my husband being able to work remotely. He thought it was a negative but I didnā€™t mind him being forced to spend more time with us. Thank you!

Family getaway

The property is beautiful, and everything you need is at your fingertips. The kids loved exploring the coastline behind the house and down at White's Cove. The people we met were amazing! We saw red fox, seals, eagles and little lobsters. It was an incredible experience. The check in process was easy and the directions were spot on. Everything was perfect at the house, so we didnt need to contact anyone, although I'm sure that the response would have been great. I loved every part of my stay. Nearby, in O'Leary, is a fabulous breakfast/diner: The Maple House Bakery and Cafe. Wonderful food and service! Lots of loval antique shops and experiences to be had. Perfect family vacation.

Breathtaking Beauty

This was my first experience renting for a vacation with VRBO and Dave and Nancy couldnā€™t have been better hosts. The place is absolutely stunning and was spotless upon arrival. Everything is labelled clearly around the house , plenty of day to day items to use and a everything you could want to help you create a seafood and lobster feast ! The property is gorgeous and house has plenty of room for everyone. The views are stunning and the cliffs and waterfront are so much fun to explore. There are even some games and rainy day things for the kids. Communication was excellent with Dave and property managers, we booked a week for next year because we were so impressed with the house , the views and the overall experience! Canā€™t wait to go back !

Fantastic view, very comfortable house

We stayed in this home for seven wonderful days. The house itself is amazing to say the least. A perfect location to relax in comfort, and enjoy the water, red cliffs, private beach and spectacular sunsets! Fresh seafood is available just four minutes down the road and you can't get any fresher than that. Everything you could possibly need was at the house, even some things that you didn't know you needed. The owners were extremely easy to contact and were always willing to help answer any questions we had. I will definitely tell my friends about this house, all they have to do is look at my pictures to fall in love. The nicest touch was the text message from the owners to have a safe drive home! Thank you for sharing your home.

My family and I were looking for a spot where we could truly decompress from the stresses of daily life. After having spent time in Prince Edward County the last several summers, we were also looking for a bit better value. Brian and Nancyā€™s cottage seemed to tick all of the boxes for us.We were totally unprepared to be blown away as we first drove up to the property. The pictures simply donā€™t do it justice, when you drive down the laneway, with the incredible cottage and beautiful blue water backdrop. The kitchen (and the entire home) is beautifully appointed. We have stayed at a number of STAs and you are often faced with a lack of breadth or depth in basic (and not so basic) household items. Kitchen cutlery, dishware, towels, you name it. There was nothing that we wished had been available that wasnā€™t. The dining table is a work of art It is worth noting, that if you donā€™t get around well or are leery in making the trek, perhaps going down to the beach is not for you. However, it is SO worth it if you do. You have your own private enclave to enjoy the water and scenery. As others have noted, we also witnessed seals surfacing and rolling around just a short distance offshore.The sunsets were incredible and definitely added to the week.The location is somewhat removed but we knew that going in and it was exactly what we wanted. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return.

Beautiful Home.

We stayed in this beautiful home Sept. 8-15. We had a great time exploring PEI. The weather was sunny and warm. Who could ask for more? The house is large and well decorated. As there was only two couples we each had our own floor. The kitchen is complete with everything you could possibly need. The view from the veranda is beautiful and we spent time at the end of our day sitting outside relaxing and enjoying the amazing sunsets. The reason for only four stars is that the bath towels had seen better days so if you are fussy about towels bring your own. Also when we arrived the garbage cans were full. We later found out that it is picked up once a month and because of this we were told to leave our garbage outside the cans. This is not a good arrangement and contributes to the amount of flies that are around. The garbage should be taken away by the cleaner so that the new arrivals have empty cans.
