Apartment with spectacular terrace in the center of Barcelona

This beautiful, bright apartment is located in a building that has belonged to my family for several generations. It’s situated right in the heart of Barcelona, on Plaza Urquinaona, a 5-minute walk from Plaza Cataluña, the city center.
Free wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is available throughout the apartment. The TV in the living room has internet access.
It has a floor area of 70 m² and sleeps 4 people, and is laid out as follows:
Upon entering the apartment, guests will find an open-concept space that includes the kitchen, living room, and dining area.
From there, you can access the two bedrooms. One of them has a double bed and the other has two single beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop for comfortable cooking, microwave, toaster, kettle, capsule coffee maker, and all the utensils you need to cook just as you would at home.
The living room leads to an utility area with a washing machine and a fully equipped bathroom with a shower.
The living room features a smart TV with internet access for entertainment and a comfortable sofa that seats four people.
From there, you can access the spectacular 120 m² private terrace, where guests can enjoy pleasant evenings. The terrace can also be accessed directly before entering the apartment.
Free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available throughout the apartment. The TV in the living room has internet access.
HOUSE RULES
- No more guests than those specified at the time of booking confirmation will be permitted to stay.
- Please respect both the contents and the condition of the apartment.
- You must keep all common areas clean and treat them with care. To this end, please ensure that you close the entrance door leading to the street whenever you enter or leave the building, and close the elevator doors after use.
- Please observe the maximum occupancy limit for the elevator.
- Please be considerate of your neighbors. Do not make loud noises that may disturb others between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
- Do not hang towels on the balconies.
- Parties are not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- Drugs are not allowed.
- Failure to comply with these community rules resulting in damage or harm to the community or the property will result in the forfeiture of the entire security deposit.
- A €20 surcharge will be charged for check-in after 11:00 PM, payable in cash upon key pickup.
PRACTICAL TIPS
The apartment is located in a building with other units, accessible from the street through a door that opens with a key provided to guests along with the key to the apartment. There is a doorman on duty Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Please lock the apartment door every time you go out to explore the city. To securely lock the apartment door, turn the key to the right twice.
TOURIST TAX PAYMENT
Tourists visiting Barcelona are required to pay a tax to the City Council and the local government. The tourist tax is €9.50 per person over the age of 16 for each night of stay, up to a maximum of 7 nights/days. Guests 16 years of age or younger are exempt from paying this tax.
This tax must be paid in cash at check-in.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In accordance with “Royal Decree 933/2021 of October 26,” I am required to provide my guests’ information to the police. Therefore, a photo of each guest’s passport or ID will be taken at check-in.
