Rendezvous Under the Oaks-Pool & hot Spa

This stunning gated modern ranch house is nestled on one acre among the vineyards, and very well located at the north end of Healdsburg on Alexander Valley Road. Just remodeled, professionally decorated and furnished, this single story, 2000 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits under the shade of an impressive California Oak. This lovely home features abundant new decking with a large outdoor table for 10 and a beautiful new in-ground pool, 8-person Hot Springs spa and outdoor shower. Enjoy the attractive and comfortable outdoor furniture, bocce and basketball courts. A large covered outdoor entertainment area with grill and plenty of seating provides a wonderful entertaining space overlooking the pool and combines perfectly with the spacious entertainment room, especially when the two window walls are open, inviting the outside in!

The hardwood-floored great room and professional-grade gourmet kitchen with Thermador 6 burner gas range, convection oven, natural stone countertops and large island with six stools for the backseat chefs. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with a beautiful wood and metal dining table seating up to 8.

The great room also includes the family room with a large sleeper sofa, enabling up to 8 overnight guests. A slate rock wall with a two-sided gas fireplace separates this area from the media /entertainment multi-purpose room with two window walls which open to the back covered porch. Amenities here include a large 70-inch flat screen TV with Soundbar, a large area rug and a large sectional sofa.

Off the living room is a dry bar with a wine fridge, convenient half bath and stacked Samsung washer/dryer set. To the right of the main entry and down the hallway are a queen bedroom with double closet, shared bath, king bedroom and master suite.

The master bedroom has double mirror doored closets, a beautiful ceiling fan, queen platform bed, large window, and hardwood flooring with rugs. The Master's ensuite bath has a free-standing shower and single-sinked vanity.

Amazing Property

We had an amazing time celebrating my wife’s birthday. It exceeded our expectations. It was a peaceful stay. We enjoyed the amenities from the pool to the hot tub to playing bocce ball. Loved the layout of the property as well, from hanging outside on the deck bbq’ing to lounging inside. Highly recomed this property!

The layout of the house is good, nice kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. My only complaint is that the house is missing a lot of little things- for example there are no shelves or drawers in any of the bedrooms. There were about 5 clothes hangers in each bedroom. The showers are just ok with funky shower heads. The pillows suck. For about $2000 the owners can make this a truly comfortable house just by adding a few small amenities. Overall though I did quite like this house and the amazing outdoor space would bring me back.

The BBQ and outdoor tables are great, and the kitchen is open and great for entertaining. Would highly recommend a stay here. There's also a pickleball and basketball court! The management company was professional, once I got ahold of them. At first it took a couple weeks to get a response and the phone number was for a voicemail box that was not checked. I was worried this was a scam until Shante reached out and was super great to work with. For future reference, use the emergency line to reach a person instead of the unchecked voicemail answering machine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was immaculate, the location was great ...just a few minutes from downtown Healdsburg which has great shops and restaurants. The house is well maintained and comfortable, we appreciated that it offered items like a portable bluetooth speaker and beach towels, which we were unable to travel with. The grounds of the property and pool area were also well kept with plenty of seating available. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The only frustration was the bedrooms should have a small dresser to keep clothes in. The closet in our room was extremely small and had only 3 hangers. I lived out of my suitcase throughout my stay. Just a small detail and suggestion for making future stays more comfortable. I would definitely return to this house if in the area again and would recommend to others as well.

The inside has a big open floor plan with plenty of space to comfortably hang out and the outdoor pool/hot tub/deck is so awesome. The house location is also right in the mix of tons of vineyards and short drive to downtown. Great spot all around, would highly recommend.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are more than adequate. I would say that it fits 2-3 couples best if you want privacy (3 bathrooms, but only 2 with showers). Though 8 people could comfortably sleep (4 beds).

The house was fully stocked with plates, appliances, serving platters, even kid friendly dishes for our little ones. The pool and outdoor was exquisite. We fully enjoyed spending all our time at the pool, on the loungers, at the basket ball/ pickle ball court. The living room gather area was perfect for our family to enjoy lounging indoors. All in all a great trip made even better with the attentive and responsive staff at Birdsong rental.

Nice, but not polished.

We arrived a bit early, and as directed by management went to drop items off at 1pm. The cleaners were just arriving and were not very kind. There is no place to drop anything except for the hot porch FYI. The cleaners told us to come back in 2.5 hours, even though check in was 2 hours away. The house is nice, but small inside. You should know the house is "loved on" inside and especially outside. The furniture outside was not very nice at all. The pool can NOT be heated, or at least they weren't interested in doing so, even for a fee. We were told, "if we do heat the pool, it will mess with the propane in the house"- or something to that affect. Getting a hold of the property managers is as difficult as everyone has written about here in reviews. The shower in the first bathroom is somehow broken. The kitchen is stocked "ok" at best. The outside tree lights did not work at all, nor did the pool lights. So that was dark at night. Almost pitch black. The house is NOT made for more than 6 couples. The pull out bed is IN the dining room- just an FYI. Bring ice- and ground coffee. The outside is cool, and that is where you will spend your time. Basketball court was fun.

Beautiful slice of heaven

We rented this gorgeous home to celebrate my friend’s 50th and it did not disappoint. The house was recently redone top to bottom and they covered every detail down to the kitchenware. I was especially impressed that I asked if there were champagne glasses and they bought the home new ones ahead of time. A+++

Excellent Wine Country Retreat

This house was a perfect fit for three couples! Adorably decorated, equitable bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with great amenities! We loved the pool, bocce ball, and pickle ball court. Everything was super easy and extremely clean. Perfect location. We will be back!!

Great House!

This house was exactly what I was looking for! My friends and family had a great stay, it was so quiet, and relaxing! We had people coming from out of the area, so the 3 car maximum was hard to coordinate. I ended up calling the Healdsburg Police Department because the rental agency wasn't much help on where to park. Which brings me to my only complaint - the communication was very challenging with rental agency. I had to call VRBO to get them to call me back. I had sent numerous emails, and called numerous different phone numbers to no avail. This was a bit frustrating, and added stress to the situation. Once we were there, I have NO complaints! It was beautiful and clean!

Wonderful Two Weeks in Healdsburg!

The management is very easy to deal with and attentive. My only recommendation would be an upgrade to the patio furniture b/c it is well 'loved' given the popularity of the property. I will be back! However, several details in my bedroom and bathroom were lacking.There was no shelving in the shower to put soap, etc.I had to put supplies on the shower floor. There was no medicine cabinet or shelving in the bathroom, nor a hook(s) on the door nor a soap dish.Could not find the switch to turn on the light above the sink. I would have liked to have had a dresser in the bedroom to put some clothes in drawers.

Amazing getaway

This sprawling property was just perfect for us. Quiet, private and extremely cozy. The basketball court ended up being a great addition! Highly recommend this property!

Awesome getaway in wine country

So many memories! Amazing home with responsive management. Checking in was a breeze. The property was gated and quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves. The house sits on a massive lot with a basketball court, a large clean pool, and many beautiful oak trees for shade during the day. The interior of the home was awesome. Just enough rooms for two adults and our two young kids (ages 2 and 4). The kitchen was large, clean, and modern, with all the plates, appliances and equipment we needed. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and we will most definitely be back again! Thanks Marc!
