Sarakino House with Private Pool

Sarakino House is a private pool villa comprised of three buildings the House of Literature, the House of Poetry & the House of Prose located in the picturesque village of Agios Dimitrios. The house can accommodate up to 19 guests comfortably whilst offering a unique accommodation experience as the name of the house implies.

The main building, the House of Literature, is a two storey house offering 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main entrance of the house leads to the spacious living room with the refined decoration standing out for its literary references and the fully equipped kitchen with separate breakfast and dining area.

The ground level offers two spacious bedrooms - one bedroom with 2 twin antique beds (100x190) and one more with a full size antique bed (135x190) as well as a bathroom with shower. There are also two 2 small verandas with view of the courtyard and the estate entrance and 1 large shaded veranda with view of the valley and the private swimming pool. The first floor offers two master bedrooms one with 2 twin antique beds (120x190), en-suite bathroom and two balconies and a second one with a queen size antique bed (170x210), en-suite bathroom and balcony.

The House of Poetry can be used additionally if the guests visiting are more than 8 and is located right next to the House of Literature. A small tastefully decorated cottage that offers at the ground floor one master bedroom with a queen size bed (160x200), a bathroom with shower as well as a and fully-equipped kitchen with sitting area. A few steps lead to the open plan loft that offers 2 full beds (135x190). This house offers 2 small verandas that access the courtyard and a special shaded patio area with an old well and stone-built benches.

Also the third cottage, the House of Prose can accommodate 4 extra guests. This house has one ground floor with a small kitchen and sitting area, a bathroom with shower as well as a bedroom with double bed. Its veranda offers access to the courtyard whereas there is an upper floor open loft bedroom with a large double bed.

Two extra fold up beds can be added in either of the houses.

A special touch in the overall experience is the villa’s library with a selection of English books, including rare editions and out-of-print books. Upon Arrival the guests can enjoy a tour at our library and borrow some of the books to read during their stay.

**Please note that for bookings up to 8 guests only the House of Literature (main villa) will be available.
For bookings from 9 to 13 guests the House of Literature and House of Poetry will be available.
For bookings from 14 guests and more all three houses will be available.

***Kindly note that according to the accommodation’s policies there is a fully refundable* damage deposit of 350.00 Euros, payable in cash upon arrival, applicable for all guests in case of serious damage to the property and all items therein.

*The damage deposit is refunded on the day of departure after the relevant inspection of the property.
