Condo was beautiful and spacious. There were 8 adults staying at the property and we all had plenty of space to spread out or hang together. It was clean and comfortable.

Large house for a big family gathering arriving from multiple locations. The only down side was the additional 250.00 per parking pass.

Love this place!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love it here! The property was clean for the most part but really in need of a true cleaning. The only issue to mention is be sure to bring allergy medicine. The bathrooms have a lot of black mold on the ceilings and the vents have very thick layers of dust, dust bunnies on the ceiling, windows, etc. Otherwise the furniture was great, very easy to access amenities, and the neighbors who are permanent residents were so friendly.

Good stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great time. Mostly minor maintenance issues which are not uncommon during end of season stays. Garage combo and outside light did not work. We had to get temporary parking passes for the first night because there was not a welcome packet in the house and office was closed on our arrival. Also, having to make the beds on arrival, figuring out which bedding went with which bed was an annoyance. Once we got settled and with David's help, things went fairly well.

Great Location

Our family enjoyed staying at Sunset Island. There is so much to do with leaving the resort. It was a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The home fit our family and was very spacious.

Nicely updated clean and spacious

Great property, plenty of room to spread out and relax, awesome balconies. Great kitchen setup with plenty of available dishes

Great Time!

The property is awesome. Sunset Island is a hidden gem inside Ocean City, Maryland. This is my first stay here and won’t be my last. So much to do within the property to enjoy your stay with family and friends.

Wonderful location, friendly staff. House met all of our needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great venue for my 3 generation family. Everyone had a wonderful time. The variety of activities ( bay/pool/ocean/ community activities that catered to all age groups) made this the perfect location for our family. Before arriving, I was a little nervous about there being too many rules but everyone there was so friendly and helpful that my concerns were quickly dispelled.

Great location but lack of cleanliness

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and set up of the house is amazing. However, if you want to use your pool passes the first night you better get there at 4 because the office closes at 4:30- stupid set up on timing. Also beware the passes you need to park and swim are delegate costs paid out of pocket when you arrive, when we arrived our place had barely been cleaned. Dirty toilets with gunk where the bolts fasten seat to toilet, broken toilet paper holders hanging out of the walls, wobbly dining chairs, crumbs on surfaces and on floor in bedroom 1 and kitchen surfaces not wiped down and carpets need cleaning.

Unfortunately, this review does not share accurate information. All guests, including this guest, are provided all of the details regarding the resort fee, the check-in time, and the hours of the mgmt office ahead of time. This guest did not read any of the information and as such, confused the check-in time with the office hours (which are 5:30pm) and missed getting the pool passes on check-in day. She also did not catch the info about the resort fee stated in the listing and the check-in instructions. She did not want to pay it and when we explained it was a fee required by the community for the pool and parking passes, she started picking apart everything about this beautiful home. We never take a guest's stay for granted and tried everything we could to make her happy. We're hoping the other reviews weigh more heavily to future guests than this one.

This property is in a wonderful community in Ocean City, Md. We've stayed in this community at different rental properties for many years. This property is very "worn" - walls have marks and stains throughout the house and the carpet has several stains in every room & stairway. We weren't happy with the cleaning service. Floors did not appear to be mopped - we all wore socks in the house and our socks were filthy. There are water/mold stains around some vents. Coffee maker had old coffee and used filter in it. The shower caddy in the master bathroom is covered extremely dirty and should be thrown out. Toilet paper holders are falling off the wall in a few bathrooms. Refrigerator in the garage smells and has mold throughout. The property management company was responsive and sent a serviceman over to replace burned out lightbulbs in high hallway ceiling lights & fix the toilet paper holders.This house needs some serious cleaning, new carpet & repainting.

Sunset Island family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful vacation in this very spacious home despite the following issues. We normally love Sunset Island. It is a very family friendly community. Unfortunately this time the surrounding rentals were rented to young teenagers who made a lot of noise at all hours of the night. We were unable to access the garage door from the outside. Very inconvenient since all of our outdoor equipment was in the garage. The oven was difficult to use.

Great Mini Vacation

The property management was our only issue. We went to them 4 times about us getting told the correct place for our 3rd vehicle to park and they never gave us correct information. Even with a parking pass, they kept giving us parking violations. This was an unpleasant part of our stay here.

4 Generation’s of Family Vacation

Rental process smooth and easy! Check In very easy! We had a wonderful 4 Generations of family vacation! Only problem we encountered was that Cleaning Service does not perform very well. We had to wipe down tables, due to spills that were not cleaned by the previous tenants. All in all, we love Sunset Island.

Beautiful property

This was our first time staying at Sunset Island. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 2 months to 68 years old. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and privacy, and also enough room on the main level for everyone to enjoy a meal together or watch TV. The community itself is beautiful with plenty of activities. We rented kayaks one afternoon and were also in walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

My family & I are so happy with our recent stay! This unit is immaculate! We have never felt 100% comfortable during a vacay & this was like we were in our own home! I cannot say enough good things! We truly enjoyed our stay! Cannot wait to return! Thank you!
