Chalet in Durbuy with Sauna & Nature Views

This is a spacious and comfortable chalet for 8 people. The chalet is located in a quiet place on the heights of Durbuy and has a relaxation area with sauna and shower cabin with steam function and Bose DVD home cinema. Outside there is a large terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The holiday home is large enough for 2 families who want to go on holiday together.

The house overlooks the villages of Bohon and Warre. For those who appreciate good food, nice terraces and beautiful shops, Durbuy is a true paradise. You also have plenty of opportunities for hiking, kayaking on the Ourthe, mountain biking or horseback riding in the forest. The Domaine d'Hottemme is a must for animal and nature lovers.

In the holiday home you will find an open, well-equipped kitchen, a living room with a wood-burning stove and a dining room. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. You can relax at the end of the day in the sauna or steam shower, jet shower and sitting area. For the children there is a play corner with a flat screen and a PS3. With this holiday home you get free access to the outdoor swimming pool of the Résidence Durbuy park (open June-July-August),

Reopening of the covered indoor swimming pool of Durbuy is planned for Saturday 1 April (against payment at the swimming pool counter). Bathing cap and swimming trunks are mandatory (no shorts). The swimming pool is owned by the municipality of Durbuy. The landlord is not responsible for any closure or change of opening hours.
Layout: Ground floor: (Living room(TV(cable), stove(wood), seating area, DVD player, stereo unit), dining room(dining table(8 persons)), open kitchen(electric kettle, cooker(electric), coffee machine(cups, filter), oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer), toilet, relaxation area(seating area, steam shower, sauna)) On the 1st floor: (bedroom(2x single bed), bedroom(2x single bed), bedroom(2x bunk bed), bathroom(bath tub, shower, washbasin, toilet), playroom(TV(flatscreen), game computer)) balcony, heating(central), terrace, garden, garden furniture, BBQ, parking, swimming pool(shared with other guests, paid, roofed, indoor), swimming pool(shared with other guests, outside, opened from Jun upto and including Aug), children's bed

Bei der Ankunft war es drinnen kalt, obwohl Besucher erwartet wurden; die Heizung hätte bereits laufen können. Das Haus ist unsauber; es wird nicht geputzt. Es ist für den gebotenen Standard viel zu teuer, und man muss für alles extra bezahlen. Wer die erforderlichen Bonuspunkte nicht erhält, muss Strafen zahlen. Nicht empfehlenswert. Het huis was slecht te vinden door de onduidelijke beschrijving van Belvilla. Het adres is niet te vinden en het is onduidelijk dat het huis zich op residentie durbuy bevind, waarbij je je gewoon moet aanmelden bij de receptie van dit park. Dit zou beter beschreven moeten worden. Verder is er geen WiFi de sauna was kapot en er waren geen nederlandsche tv zenders beschikbaar. Daar dit huis aan een vrij steil pad ligt en het tuin gedeelte ook vrij schuin is, is dit huis minder geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn.

bij de receptie werd verteld dat we om 16 uur in huisje konden, echter toen we bij het huisje waren, waren ze nog lang niet klaar met schoonmaken en bleek dat 16:45 te zijn. bij aankomst was het eerste wat we zagen een ingestorte buiten BBQ, een soort tegelspreuk bij de deur die kapot was en waarvan de scherven om de hoek geveegd waren en zakjes met hondendrollen om de hoek bij de ingang. 1 paar bedlinnen had gaten erin, boven was het erg gehorig, de douchekop in sauna beneden was zo verkalkt dat water alle kanten op spoot, aantal vd borden en glazen stonden niet schoon in de kast, de afzuigkap was vet en goor, de koelkast staat los in de keuken en wiebelt enorm. geen grote dingen maar alles bij elkaar viel dat wel tegen, we hadden het idee, ook met latere incheck, dat het allemaal haastig was gedaan, en daardoor was de algehele indruk ook een beetje armoedig. er waren ook plussen, zoals ligging en uitzicht, vriendelijk ontvangst, de matrassen, de bank en de verder goed uitgeruste keuken. maar een opknapbeurt is denk ik wel nodig.

Over het algemeen was het een fijne plek om te verblijven. De indeling was perfect voor onze groep met genoeg ruimte om je te verspreiden. Het enige nadeel was dat we niet van het buitenzwembad konden genieten toen we begin april op bezoek waren. We konden echter wel het nabijgelegen Parc des Topiaires verkennen, wat prachtig was.
